I confirmed four times the truck was going to be there on the 27th. twice by phone and twice by text message. This company will con you out of your card information with promises of shipping your vehicle or motorcycle. They have no interest in shipping they only want to charge you a fee once they double your agreed payment. When they tell you after weeks they found a driver but it will be double the price they are counting on you to say no so they can then charge you a cancelation fee of a couple hundred dollars. They will charge your account immediately and will not return your money. They made you to sign 10 pages ToS document before you can move further to work with the quote. That signature makes you responsible for all fees and charges you can only imagine. In my case it was $150+ cancelation fee. It was a time sensitive shipment for me and after waiting a few days without result I cancelled the order and they charged me that fee. But we had a great experience, my car was picked up by a super nice transport guy with an enclosed carrier, and was delivered the next day (MI to MN, in February). I received texts and calls every day they looked for a driver, and my quote was within $60 of what I paid. They stated had trip done and by two different people one was Robert Senatore and another with Empowered Express Bryan Montgomrey and neither of them every showed up. They charged for both trips and neither contracts were ever fulfilled. Worthless company they took money and never did what was promised. Refund was never sent nor did they ever send another driver. After communicating with monarch transport about the unprofessional behavior of the driver they dispatched, this driver contacted me again and try to arrange to pick up my vehicle after monarch told me they notified the company of the situation and canceled the transport with them . So is he trying to pick up my vehicle without a contract? This is scary behavior. They have given my information to a driver who is clearly not in his right state of mind. Monarch transport is taking absolutely no responsibility for this, Other than the generic response to my previous review wishing me luck moving forward, which I cannot do with another company because I asked for a refund of my deposit so that I could deal with a different transport company which they are refusing. They are SCAMMERS and use BAIT & SWITCH tactics. They charge you a $200 non-refundable fee, never book your transportation at the date they agree to and will tell you the driver "canceled," but they will find you another driver that will cost nearly DOUBLE the original agreed upon rate AND charge you more for ANOTHER DEPOSIT "due to the increased rates", so you're obligated to pay to get your vehicle transported. They were several days late, they barely communicate after taking your deposit, they do not give you accurate tracking information. I hired this transportation group to move my motorcycle, and the entire experience was a massive red flag from start to finish. Before any service was performed, they attempted to charge my credit card three separate times without authorization. We hired Monarch Transportation Group to ship our trike for a quoted $647. Days went by with no shipper assigned. Then they called saying they had to raise the price because they couldn't find anyone at the original quote -- we agreed, and they promised delivery the next day. That day came and went with no driver and no communication. When we called, we were told the shipper had "mechanical failure" and they'd need to find someone else. At that point we cancelled and were emailed confirmation that we'd receive a refund within 7 days. We never got it. We've called multiple times since, been promised callbacks that never happened, been given false information (told they "had a shipper" when they clearly didn't), and when we asked for a supervisor we were put on hold for over 25 minutes and hung up on -- twice. THis was fraud by Monarch. I needed a golf cart transported from Willis Texas to Winchester CA. They gave me a price of $699 including their fee. The problem was that no truck driver in today's uncertainty of high fuel prices would do it for their portion of $500. In CA alone diesel prices are as high as $7 a gallon. The sales staff promised they would have a driver within three days. Five days later I called and accused them of intentionlly lowballing an offer on the board that they knew no one would take. They made a promise of three days and after five days I canceled because of this fraud. They retaliated with a $149 cancelation fee. Monarch knew they would never get a driver at that price, they are the ones who told me that their price of $699 would get me a driver. They are bad news, they will give you a price that they can not deliver on and when you cancel they charge you anyway. There is no way Monarch could have delievered on the $699 price and frankly they had to have known it. Even when I complained and canceled they did not inform me at that time that I would be charged the $149. If they had I would have let it ride for a two more days aqnd aid nothing. To claim that somewhere deep in my contract was this clause to allow them to charge me is nonsense. When a company is unethical then you have the right cancel any contract. I have called the DOT and logged a complaint against Monarch for its unethical business pratices. I frankly don't care what Monarch claims they knew that they would never get a trucker to take $500 to deliver my golf cart from TX to CA. Just one day after setting up the transport, they called to say the price had gone up. I reluctantly agreed. Two days later, they raised the price again, and I hesitantly agreed once more. Then the transporter they found canceled, but by that point, I had already paid a deposit -- even though the cancellation wasn't my fault. It's been over a week now, and still no progress. I've called every day for updates; some representatives can't even find my order number, others promise to call back but never do, and several have talked over me while I'm trying to explain the situation. The day after a driver was found, the driver canceled, saying no room on the transport. Monarch Transport I had a very frustrating experience with Monarch Transport. Initially, the driver informed us that he would arrive at 8:00 AM. After that, the time was pushed back to 10:30 AM, then to 11:10 AM, and he didn't arrive until 11:45 AM.
