On September 20, 2025 they agreed to pick up my non-running motorcycle and deliver it (about 100 miles) to Indianapolis to a dealership for repairs in time for my appointment on October 14, 2025. In the 25 days they had to make it happen, they not only failed to complete the pick up, but also failed to let me know, so I could look elsewhere. Finally, on the day of the appointment, I was told "it seems you're on a low volume route..." and no driver was going to make the delivery. Quoted the contract stating price increases were industry standard. When I objected they said best they could do was $835. So I asked about cancellation and they again quoted the contract which has a $149 cancellation fee. Funny they know more about the contract then about arranging a pickup within a reasonable time. I was given a quote for shipping my motorcycle from NY to Fla. I accepted the price and was sent the paperwork. Just prior to my vehicle being shipped Monarch changed the price from $680 to $750. I have never done business with a company that operates like this. The shipping went well but increasing the price just before shipping was extremely disappointing. After multiple phone calls, I finally reached someone. So then they found someone else who could do the tow for me, at a 50% increase in price. On 11/14/25 I called asking when the pickup would occur. I was told that no driver had accepted the order so I cancelled the order. If I could give monarch less than one star I would. I reached out to them over a month in advance and scheduled to have a motorcycle transported from Cincinnati to Salt Lake City area. They said it wouldn't be a problem and guaranteed it would be picked up within a three day window. I live in Salt Lake area. I paid over $700 in airfare to fly to Cincinnati to make sure I was there for the Motorcycle to be picked up. When the three days came, I have not heard anything from Monarch so I reached out to find out the status of the transporter to pick up the motorcycle they said they have not secured a driver yet, but promised me it will be within those three days more than likely that Friday. Friday came and I still have not received any notification regarding the driver nor a time to be picked up. I called Monarch again and they said they will call me back because they have not yet secured a driver. I never received a phone call back. I had to leave to go back to the Salt Lake area Because I could not take any more time off. I ended up wasting money and vacation time flying to Cincinnati on monarchs "words" that they promised it will be picked up within that window. I was unable to get my bike shipped and will have to rent a trailer and drive there myself in the near future to tow it back myself so that will be even more cost out of my pocket because of monarchs unreliability. I will never attempt to go through Monarchs transportation group again and will never refer them to anyone only shoot them down. I will start this off by saying that I am well aware at how damaging a negative review is to a company. I owned a small business and we took great pride in earning our reviews, no business is perfect but bad reviews can be absolutely avoided if the business does their part. Now, onto Monarch Transport Group. The initial correspondence from them is wonderful, you have a rep assigned to you, they're responsive in text and phone and are extraordinarily timely in delivering all things requested. I even was shocked at when my first UTV purchase fell through that I needed transportation for the response from MTG was simply, just keep us in mind for next time. It was great! THEN, I bought a UTV that needed transport from Florida to Tennessee, signed the agreement and then it got weird. First off they take $150 as a credit card deposit and then the remainder of the bill is Cash on Delivery, I found this to be very odd in this day and age but obliged. Next, Once the vehicle was picked up the communication from MTG goes completely silent, I received an email that I've been assigned a driver with their number and that was it. I called the "Driver" and he said someone else has my machine and he gave me that persons number, called them and they didn't have my machine either, this second driver then give me a THIRD drivers number. At this point, I'm not sure if Monarch's insurance covers a driver NOT assigned by them or who this third driver is. Then I get a text from my dealership that says "Your machine might not fit in the trailer, they're deflating the tires right now to try to get it in"...Next the delivery from time of pickup was to be within 1 1/2 days. No answer from this driver OR Monarch after texts and voicemails that another driver has my machine. 3 days later I haven't heard a PEEP, Monarch didn't bother following up, drivers did not and I had no clue where my machine was. Day 4 I finally got someone (NOT my rep Ian) on the Monarch 800 number and they said they would talk to dispatch and call me back. No call back that day. Day 5 I call back and got another person who was going to "Talk to dispatch" and call me back, they did not that day either. Day 6 I'm freaking out ready to call the police for a stolen vehicle and calling Monarch to file an insurance claim. Instead of asking what happend or WHY I wanted to file an insurance claim they email me a form that says Monarch has NO interaction with insurance claims and it's between the driver and me to figure out but was sent a COI with the original drivers name on it, who did NOT have my vehicle. I leave to go run some errands and get a call from a number saying "I'm in your driveway with you car" NO communication on arriving and yet I had to give this person another $700 in Cash to get the keys. How does it work that if someone doesn't do their job or communicate that they still get paid in full and Monarch didn't have my back, didn't bother to call to check in on the transportation that THEY dispatched and still haven't heard back from them. I contracted with Monarch to transport a UTV on the 3rd of December, 2025, with first available pick up December 10th, 2025. They had told me they would assure me pick up within a three day window of that date. This schedule also gave them a week before pick up to find a transporter driver. On December 10th, I received a text message that they were still looking for a driver. On December 12th I received another text message that they were still looking. On December 13th, the same. On December 15th, the same. Since this was well past the three day window and going on two weeks without a driver assigned, I called and cancelled. They confirmed the cancellation in an email and then proceeded to charge my credit card. I called again and they stated it was part of their terms and conditions. I had read their terms and conditions that are shown at the bottom of their website. It states nothing of a cancellation fee and nothing seemed out of place at that time. They stated that I had agreed to the "bait and switch" terms and conditions that they now want to use as part of the contract when I signed authorizing them to charge the brokerage fee. I asked for and was promised a copy of these "bait and switch" terms and conditions but never received one for my review. From reading many one star reviews and my personal experience with Monarch, it is apparent that their goal is to get your credit card number. The "bait and switch" terms and conditions are really a poorly disguised hold harmless agreement. It matters not what they do, they get paid. They don't have to pick up within any time frame, they don't have to pick up at all, they don't have to have a driver that is vetted and insured and the driver certainly doesn't have to have the proper equipment to transport your vehicle. If damage is done, they are not responsible. If the vehicle is stolen, they are not responsible. If they can't find a driver, they are nor responsible. If they never pick up, they are not responsible. They will tell you they performed their contracted duties, just read the hold harmless agreement, I mean, their terms and conditions. Beware!! This is a scam company that makes more money not doing their job than actually performing what they promise. We contacted them asking for a quote to transport a motorcycle from Knoxville TN to Ellsworth Maine. Initially, they were very informative. They stayed in contact by text or email. Once a company was located that would pick up the bike and deliver it, a time and day was scheduled. September 14th the bike was to be picked up between 10am and 11am. By 7pm, no one had contacted us. We called, left a message and text the driver. Nothing back from him. Contacted the transport company hired by Monarch - Nothing. Contacted Monarch - spoke with someone many hours after the intial time it was to be picked up only to be met with excuses. I was told the driver had just been pulled over an hour before I spoke with them. Funny thing is, that was WAY past the time the bike was to be picked up. Now we had it rescheduled to be picked up the following day at 6pm. This was confirmed by Monarch! 6 pm goes by, nothing. At 10 PM the driver appears. HE DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We could not communicate with the guy!!!!! Through Google translator - we got out of it, the guy said he was to pick up a car, then said he was refusing to take the bike because it didn't start. This was told to them multiple times from us! I paid MONARCH to transport three of my motorcycles from Michigan to Nevada. They said that they were insured. The delivery brought me three bikes, one damaged. My new Kawasaki 400 was dropped on its side destroying much of the plastic on one side and bending the shift lever. The delivery people tried to get out of it by not submitting the damage. I grabbed there phone and input the damage myself. The damage was fully documented. Monarch claims that the delivery people are responsible for the damage and that the claim should be submitted by them. Turns out there there insurance certificate is fake. They also only speak Ukrainian , no English, or so they pretend. Everyone is,pointing fingers around in a circle and nobody will take responsibility for the damage. This is a bad company that you should not do business with. Pay the extra money and go with a more reputable company. My Kawasaki was brand new with only 400 miles on the odometer, not even broken in yet. This has been a horrible experience and is still ongoing. Steer clear. IN RESPONSE TO MONARCH - I called the insurance company listed on the certificate of insurance. I told them that I wanted to file a claim. They had me read off the information listed on the certificate. There is a number that validates the certification listed in one of the boxes. That number was NOT PRESENT!! The insurance company then told me that the certificate of insurance was not valid, a fake used to show customers that they have insurance when in fact they do Not! This is a common complaint and the should be the responsibility of Monarch To determine that the insurance is in fact Valid insurance prior to booking the delivery company. I guess you can say that MTG did what they said they would do. They did arrange for my fifth wheel camper to be moved from Nebraska to Virginia. HOWEVER, after I received my camper, I began receiving bills from multiple states for the driver traveling in the EZ Pass lanes. I did not authorize or agree to pay these fees on top of the cost already paid. I tried on multiple occasions to get a response from monarch and never heard anything. So above the cost of shipping and fees for Monarch, I received bills for nearly $400. I reserved in late June a pick up from California to South Carolina pick up by July 3rd. They said they could do it. I kept communication with them during that time just to make sure because I was moving and had to be out of my place by then. Because it was a rapid service request I ended up having to go with another company because they did not have a transporter for my vehicle. When I called them regarding the cancellation fee that I was charged, they claimed the accounting person I needed to speak to was in a meeting so I requested a call back and never got one. When I tried calling a couple times to speak to the person, they put me on hold and claimed they were transferring me to them and would leave me on hold until the call disconnected. When I tried to call back the last time, my call would not go through so I used a different phone to call and it went through. So not only did the accounting person refuse to speak to me, but they also blocked my number and then blocked the second number I called from. I absolutely would not recommend at all. They do not own a single truck. They use the internet to find independent drivers--that's it. This whole operation is designed to overpromise, mislead the customer until they sign the contract, and collect a cancellation fee. They are not worth the headache, the risk, or the price. Do not give them your business or your credit card information. Here is what will happen to you if you are not careful! They say pickup is 1 to 3 days, that it will be 500 miles of travel each day, that there is no charge to set it up, and that its fully insured. Then, you give them your credit card and sign the contract. Then the nightmare begins. The online contract they have you sign says they actually have 10 days to find your driver. If you cancel before that 10-day window expires they charge you a $149-dollar cancellation fee. It's in the contract you sign so you can't even do a charge back on your card. Unless you record the conversation you can't prove they said 1-3 days. How does payment work? Put your credit card into the form and they immediately do a test charge without informing you. They tell you the "deposit" to secure the driver is $199. What was left of the quote is supposed to paid at the delivery. Then they try to upsell you an additional $300 to guarantee a pickup day. Okay how do you guarantee a pickup if you do not have your own trucks? They just add money to the quote online and hope for the best. It is NOT an actual guarantee of service. They add $150 to the broker fee add $150 to the driver. Ask the driver how much of that deposit fee they got. Ask Monarch how much they keep. You are paying them $200+ dollars to re-type your information on the internet. They also call the QUOTE the "final, out-the-door, all-in, price." Misleading would be generous. It's a quote and they will call you up saying the driver wants more money. But somehow the broker fee also goes up for this. So you end up paying more than what the driver asks for. They also fail to mention a 3.5% credit card processing fee on the deposit until pushed on it. $199 broker fee called a deposit, $149-dollar cancellation fee, 3.5% processing fee, "guaranteed fee", and on and on and on. They claim the shipment is "fully insured with no deductible." Keep asking questions. It is carrier insurance under the driver's name. It has nothing to do with Monarch. There is almost always a deductible on the insurance policies. It is the customer who pays, not the driver. Open trailers are the same price as Enclosed trailers. Do not get under-sold! Make sure they give you the enclosed trailer for the same price. GET IT IN WRITING! What are the exact calendar days, before and after the 10-day pickup window, that I can cancel this booking without any kind of fee? How much is the broker fee? How much is the credit card service fee, in dollars, on the initial deposit? How much of the not-actually-a "guaranteed" fee are you going to give to the driver to make the wait time less and how much are you keeping? How much is the deductible for reporting damage to my motorcycle? If I ask my driver these questions will his answers match yours? Do you really feel okay treating customers this way just because everyone else does? Why did you use almost an identical name and logo for a company created in 1975 in Canada? Communication is horrible. Broker's are just dumb And unorganized. They take your 155.00 and leave you hanging for weeks.

This company is crooked. They badger you to sign up to lock in a price and then cant deliver on the price and slowly walk up the price -- they then assert they have a carrier and once you authorize a deposit amount for a higher price for a pickup several days late, the driver conveniently gets sick and fails to show up for three days before Monarch cancels the driver and refuses to return your deposit. They gave me a quote $1100 dollars for enclosed motorcycle from WA to Florida ..I ended up $1360.00 Not enclosed.Bike came filthy was shipped on a car hauler..I tried to get my deposit back $260..But they said I cannot get it back,if I canceled..So I just said ship it..for the increase price ..And it showes up in a car hauler..Stay away from these SCAMMERS.. read more

This company is terrible, i spoke to Ian about an RV transport for August 1st, i was told that i would not be charged unless the had a driver and that I confirmed. They contacted me day before on 31st and now all of a sudden they have a driver. I told then i had already had some one else the rude agent brian said well we are still going to charge a 154.00 cancellation fee. Because up the unproffesionalism of both Ian and this company i had to pay double for the same tranport and lose an additonal monies i dont have, no apologies or anything beware this company is a scam read more

Stated multiple times that we are military and we have to be at our next duty station on a certain date and they said that we could pay for a specific pick up and drop off for extra cost and I called three days out before the day of pick up and they told me on the day of Pickup that there was no driver and that it would take at least three days window to get one we couldn't leave on the day we were supposed to leave and we had to find another carrier absolutely horrific and whether you call the local number in Naples or the 800 number it's still the same office with the same people telling you the same thing. And apparently I don't get a refund for my deposit. They have military discounts which we didn't get, but they don't way to refund military members for poor service. read more
