The $6 Garlic Cheese Bread
Nicole H.

So Monicals's is far from my fave but the person I was with absolutely loves it. *shrug* Their thin crust pizza is popular. I got pepperoni and mushroom. It was okayyy. I also got the garlic bread and it hit the spot but was nothing to write home about, esp for the $6 cost. This location has a large back room so that's great for folks who have a large event to host and want a room to rent out. Service was great. No wait on a Sunday and the server was very nice and attentive. Overall- it's ok. It's not bad but I won't seek it out of my own volition.

Really great customer service. Waitress was on top of things and very nice. Wings and pizza was very good. Definitely will be going back here again.

i use to order from monical's all the time when i worked out in avon. weird but i kept smelling sausage pizza and it was specific i realized it was monical's so i decided to order. i've been over in the plaza a few times because it's next to rise n roll bakery. i ordered my meal online and it told me it would be ready in 20-30 mins. the online ordering was easy and the website provided a lot of detail about changes due to covid. i ordered my usual a thin crust sausage pizza and garlic cheese bread. several things i fake don't eat sausage, okay? i love when places have garlic cheese bread and it's specifically called that. their thin crust is perfectly baked although mine could have used more cheese. the garlic cheese bread comes with a standard marinara that's tasty. my order was ready when i arrived.

Family Salad (special made to order)

I've been here a number of times, sometimes with just a friend, my family, or a large group. I don't ever remember having bad service. Today was especially good. Bill was our server, and he made sure my special order salad was done right, and even asked if he could have made it any better. Sourdough breadsticks are delicious, and aren't your typical pizzeria fare.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite thin crust pizza places. I love how many slices you can get out of it. The crust is very crispy. The toppings are tasty and fresh. The price is on the expensive end, though. Management isn't the best. My parents were told they could order a pizza with half toppings on one side and half toppings on the other all for the price of a one topping. However, later management refused to honor that. In fact, they were really quite rude about all of it. They made them pay for 2 toppings and now we don't go there anymore due to the poor experience.

The pizza is really good. It's on a thinner crust, the sauce is flavorful, and there is just the right amount of cheese to hold stuff together but not overpower the other flavors. Toppings are evenly applied. Slices are square not triangular. There are also salads, sandwiches, a handful of appetizers, and I *think* they have GF options now because I recall reading something about "our celiac friends". There's this very odd server who works evenings. He's waited on us at least 2-3 times and says just the strangest things. However, he's very welcoming, quick, and has never screwed up our order. He keeps drinks refilled without you asking and offers to-go cups. His strangeness is somewhat off-putting as you can't tell if he's joking or serious or maybe just a little below average intelligence and not quite making sense. So anyhow, don't get scared away, that's just how the guy is...the pizza is worth it, and despite being kinda weird the guy gives really good, attentive service.

Salad with extra cheese!

Very good thin crust pizza. If you don't want to settle for donatos or noble Romans - go for Monicals!

It's expensive so I hope you have someone else get the check. $20 per pizza but damn it is delicious.

I'd been curious about Pizzaville every since I passed it on the way out to my parents' home in…read morePutnam County. Located on the western end of Avon, Pizzaville is in a strip center with Parlor Doughnuts in the parking lot, Hotcakes Emporium a handful of storefronts down and a couple other cool storefronts. In case it's not obvious, Pizzaville specializes in pizza. They offer dine-in, carry-out, and delivery in select areas. They also cater special events. One of the things I noticed was large signage indicating a lunch buffet during the week ($11.99). There's accessible parking almost directly in front. The main entrance offers a weird ramp up to the door - despite having a ramp, I'd actually say it's not accessible because the ramp is at such a weird angle. I was able to get in, however, it took effort. It's much easier if you approach it from the parking lot rather than the sidewalk. Once you enter, you arrive at the ordering spot. The dining room is to your left. The decor is simple yet clean. As I recall, they serve Coke products. They do have Gold Peak Unsweetened Iced Tea in the fountain. They do also have some canned/bottled offerings. While I arrived on a weekend (no buffet), there was a $6.99 special that included a mini-pizza up to 3-toppings and a fountain drink. The prices can definitely go up, though I found pricing quite fair and definitely quite good. They have a handful of sides - I was tempted by breadsticks, but they are $5.99. I read a couple reviews indicating it's a pretty big serving - so, I held off this time. I ordered a mini-pizza with sausage and pepperoni along with my fountain drink. They were friendly and offered help. The mini-pizza is basically a "personal" pizza and it's on the smaller side. I was pleased with it and would easily order it again. I believe there's a side room you can reserve. There's single user bathrooms with grab bars. I can't quite go to a 5-star here. I enjoyed the meal immensely and will easily return. This is a solid 4-star experience with good quality and good value. I arrived late in the lunch hour - business was pretty light, though it was steady. I'm enjoying my journey through Hendricks and Putnam County. While it was initiated by a sad experience, it's introducing me to the communities of Avon, Danville, and Coatesville and I'm really enjoying that. If you're looking for a new pizza buffet experience, this is a solid one to try from Monday-Friday during lunch. Otherwise, they still have great specials and for those on a budget you can eat for under ten bucks by using specials.

Still a great place for good pizza. We've been ordering pizza here since we moved to Avon. Over the years they have expanded and remodeled to be able to accommodate a larger lunch crowd since they offer a lunch buffet. Prices are fair, food taste great, and customer service is always friendly. We'll be going back and you should too.
