I have had pizza from this location 4 times and each experience I have not been impressed. Pizza lacks flavor and has been burnt.

Normally, Monical's is a real treat for us, but this last time we had it, we picked it up and it wasn't fully cooked. The crust was very rubbery. It was disappointing, but usually the pizza is good and we like to go to the restaurant and eat it piping hot - that's when it's best. I love to dip my pizza in the red dressing. read more

Went in on a Thursday night by myself. Dining room packed with only one server working. 2 others standing at the hostess station talking about how previous customers were mean to them. Not helping the one girl who had all of the tables. I sat there for 10 minutes with no one talking to me watching the one kid scramble. Ended up leaving w/no one saying anything to me. We keep trying Monicals hoping it will be good. It's common to have your order messed up. I don't know why they can't seem to make a decent pizza. Not enough of anything. So skimpy on ingredients that I showed the manager and asked him what kind of pizza we had. We had eaten the pieces that had ingredients and that left about 1/3 of pizza that looked like a cheese pizza. Not good when the pizza cost over 20 dollars. read more

I have great memories of Monicals when I was a little girl. Used to go to one in pekin il with my dad when we had a outing. The pizza is still great, all you can eat salad with there special French dressing. Yum! Great food, good service what more do you need for a pizza place. No alcohol here by the way. read more

Ordered pizza before I left work in Champaign got to Monicals and went to drive up told them who I was and I could tell the girl looked confused, a guy took my order but apparently didn't put it in, they won't admit they forgot to make it the would rather have you drive around the building again thru drive up and pizza still not ready, then tell you we still have seven minutes on your pizza could you pull up behind car in front of you that's been there since 5:00 waiting on his order, it's now 5:40, then you got the people behind you that think they are special and you guys should move your cars cause we can't drive and think it's your fault that Monicals asked you to pull forward well I will tell you what they can do with them selves, they mean nothing to me, finally myself and car in front of me got asked if we could pull in to empty parking spot on side of building now about 6:00 to wait longer for your pizza you ordered an hour ago, we finally got our orders no discounts no nothing oh well that's the way business is done these days. Incredible nourishment, administration is all in or all out here. It's set up with for the most part high schoolers and at times they're mindful, once in a while they aren't (doesn't make a difference in the event that they're occupied or not). Requests are constantly exact however, and I've never had an issue with a pizza being scorched or half-cooked. The drive up window is extraordinary however and they're brisk to have your request prepared there. read more

Pizza is outstanding! Service at Mahomet, IL location is horrible. Had very bad experience with same waitress twice at this location. Was there on 3/23 in the 1 o'clock hour and couldn't get waited on. Only one other party in the restaurant. My group got up and left, walked out past two employees standing there doing nothing, looked puzzled at us but never said a word. I recommend visiting other locations but save yourself frustration and don't go to Mahomet location. read more

Was in here for dinner last night, me and my sister go here regularly. They made a mistake on our pizza and really went above and beyond to make it right. They not only made us another pizza to eat at the restaurant they made another one for us to take home and gave us a discount. In the age of no one take accountability for anything. We live in Mahomet and have ordered out and dined in at this Monical's many times. I called tonight and asked for a calzone with 4 toppings. Was informed by the person on the phone that they could only add 3 toppings. I told them that I was happy to pay extra and that I still wanted the 4th topping (hot peppers). They told me no. The manager, Todd, backed up the employee by also refusing a 4th topping, regardless of me offering to pay extra for it. In addition to refusing to add the 4th topping, Todd was rude. As a small business owner, I'm always stunned by this type of behavior. I will no longer be a customer and will tell everyone I'm in contact with should the topic of pizza come up. read more
