Would bring groups there (when the dine in was still open) from over an hour south just to get their stuffed/deep dish. This is quite unfortunate, as we drove from New Lenox to try this place. This is just sad, change your hours or ensure you staff the place. There is literally no one here and their phones aren't forwarded. We won't be promoting this place to our friends that loved Oak Lawn.

For example, I have ordered the Chicken Ricotta and Taco pizza and both were delicious. My son ordered the Chix Bacon Ranch and loves it, so he refuses to try anything else. I LOVE that the vegetables, especially mushrooms, are fresh! Canned mushrooms are completely different than fresh and I feel they should be an option but not the ONLY one. I especially like the online menu and how to select what we wanted. I have never seen options on how the crust should be cooked for example well done, or if ingredients should be light or extra. These customizations are really appreciated! The appetizer choices are more than the typical fried vegetables or mozzarella sticks. The Rueben Egg Roll appetizer is an example and could also be considered a meal. I tried them to see if the corned beef was good. Since it was, I will be ordering the Ruben pizza next and then the Big Mac Daddy. I look forward to trying the pastas and sandwiches next. In addition there are dessert choices if we want something sweet. Each time we ordered, our pizza was delivered quicker than we were told which is always nice. When I opened the container I immediately noticed the majority of the pasta was dry (other than butter/oil) and the Alfredo sauce was only on the top noodles. Upon tasting the sauce I knew it was not homemade and tasted like jarred grocery store sauce. The breaded chicken was clearly processed because they were the same shape and not a breast of white meat chicken. Unfortunately, I was unable to eat what was basically nothing like a typical Italian fettuccine Alfredo with breaded chicken. The texture of the chicken was weird and the sauce was bland. I normally would have just let it go but thinking of the cost I just couldn't. I called, spoke with a manager, and explained how dissatisfied I was. This manager explained that the breaded chicken was processed, premade, frozen, and then cooked. The Alfredo sauce was just a brand (maybe Stouffer's?) name jarred sauce. The manager clarified that the grilled chicken was an actual breast of chicken cooked there and suggested that option. I suggested that the menu should clarify what kind of chicken was available and/or the person taking the order should ask if a premade chicken patty or a breast of grilled chicken was wanted. The description given implies both options are a boneless breast of chicken instead of a chicken patty. I was really surprised at the mediocre meal because I have ordered from numerous Aurelio locations for decades and didn't have the same results. It's possible that the company has made changes to the menu or this location has a different product than others. One week later I ordered the baked chicken tetrazzini from Nancy's and it was delicious. The difference between these two options was incredible. One was basically a frozen meal and the other was like a freshly made meal from a restaurant.
