Outstanding quality and service. This is a farm to table restaurant with an excellent culinary staff in a casual atmosphere and reasonable prices. Fresh fish of the day was wahoo, and it was prepared perfectly. Yuengling beer along with it? Wonderful green beans and fresh mashed potatoes? Yes, please! The bourbon maple pecan bread pudding puts it over the top! Five stars.

Great service. Nice little lot. What a great find! The food was amazing here. Highly recommend. The Caesar was ok. Lettuce seemed not crispy, croutons were tasty. The grilled fish sandwich was so tasty and delicious. Cooked well. The fries were crispy and good. Dessert menu looked good. Next time. Scratch kitchen. Delish.

LEGIT "DDD" RECOMMENDATION!!! Visiting Florida, While winding down the night before, we came across a "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" episode that highlighted an eatery in Daytona Beach. Wait... WHAT?!?!! We are going there tomorrow!!! Now I gotta pay attention lol Okay... Alligator Ribs!?! Exotic! FRESH Local Fish Collar?!? If Guy liked it, let's go for it! Yelp directions were on point. Easy parking on site. Amy (one of the owners) was completely welcoming and a joy to interact with! Dave took care of us like we were family! After touring around Daytona Speedway, we were hungry! Let's eat! BBQ SMOKED ALLOGATOR RIBS: ONLY in Florida, can you get alligator served to you so readily! This is unique though, a BBQ ribs version?!? Typically alligator is served battered and fried. Millie's version is yummy! It's not excessively drenched in sauce, rather a simple glaze that enhances the experience. Meat is tender, tasty, and has a baby back rib similarity in texture. Nothing left of this to take back to the hotel, it was enjoyed by everyone on the table! LOCAL FISH COLLAR (Rockfish today): Wifey's pick for today visit, and she loved it! We were thinking it would a light amount of protein, but we were pleasantly surprised how filling this dish was. She even had to box the leftovers for a 2nd serving at the hotel later for dinner! Well prepared dish with the fish meat moist and flavorful. Definitely squeeze the provided lime wedges onto collar, it hypes the flavor UP! SHRIMP PO'BOY: I was looking for something outta my comfort zone and having never sampled a po'boy before, I went with the shrimp option. Grilled Shrimps were plump and plentiful. Every bite of sammie had shrimp in it. That remoulade sauce though... Game changer!!! Homemade potato chips perfectly fried and had nice crunch to them! The ample serving of chips were also not greasy at all. MILLIE'S BURGER: Really THICK burger patty! Added grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and Swiss cheese... Oh BOY! My son WAS HAPPY! Homemade potato chips was his choice too and nothing remained on his plate! VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! Nom Nom level is high! Great option for lunch if ever wandering around Daytona Beach! Enjoy :)

Sophia was our waitress and she was soooo sweet, attentive & personable! The food was absolutely stellar. We started with the crab dip which was super delicious. I ordered the grouper fish tacos with house chips and my fiancé ordered the bbq pork sandwich with house chips. Probably the best meal we've had in quite some time. Everything from the customer service to the music that was being played was sick. 10/10 can't wait to go back!!!

Don't eat at the chain restaurants when in the Daytona Beach area. They made it a point to let you know that it's a farm to table kind of restaurant. The only thing that matters is that it tasted good. I understand they are known for the gator ribs... but get the seafood. They do it right. I felt like I was at a good Jersey shore seafood restaurant. Florida seafood places tend to not allow the seafood to be the star of the dish ( Cajun spices/ fried foods). During my meal, I found out that the owner was from the Jersey shore. Was not surprised. Local fish, over pasta with lemon and capers. Very flavorful. Very worth it

We really wanted to try the Fish Collars based on all the great reviews so we drove over on a Sunday afternoon after church. We were immediately seated by our new "friend " at the door who promptly seated us. However, when we inquired about the fish collars are new "friend " said they take about an hour to be prepared and brouto the table. There were only a handful of patrons in the restaurant so we thought that was odd as it's not mentioned in any reviews so just a heads up for anyone headed there with the same plan as us. So, we didn't have a Plan B so we had to come up with something. We decided to go with a couple of items off the "Hand Held" selections on the menu and some soup. Everything in our humble opinion was average.

Went here the first night in Daytona Beach with my wife, and we must say this place is mid at best. We got the alligator ribs that were featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. The only thing good we can say about them is the bbq sauce on them was awesome. I ordered the shrimp po boy and my wife got the grouper tacos, and all of it was lacking seasoning. Got the check and found out there was an extra charge for sauces. I can't say that we will ever come here again.

Wow this place is a gem, we went on the 4th of July and walked in early. Had the best grouper I've ever had, we had it 3 ways. The fish cheeks (1st time and would recommend ) were amazing melt in your mouth good, then we had the Francaise. (# 1 for me) and the sandwich (also top tier) 10/10 would recommend if you near by or have to drive out of the way to get there. Also service was excellent, but was crowded by the time we left.

This is one of the best restaurants (or maybe the best) in Daytona Beach Shores. From the service to the food we had the most amazing experience! We sat at the bar and our server was Sophia. She was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and detail oriented. She explained each we asked about in detail. Also gave us history of the restaurant and noted they were "boat to table!!" Her recommendations were spot on! We started off with the alligator ribs.... boom! A flavor explosion, not to mention the homemade bbq sauce. They do run out quickly so get them early! I had the group and husband had the steak- both absolutely mouth watering. Sides were as good as the entrees (goat cheese potatoes, beets and fried brussel sprouts. I didn't even know they were on DDD! We will be coming here regularly if we can get in!!!!

We had two out of town couples join us for an evening out and dinner at Millie's. Our new "go-to" place! I cannot keep from ordering the Filet & Shrimp Fondue! We shared the very tasty smoked fish dip. Other entrees included shrimp and grits, flounder sandwiches and another filet & shrimp fondue. Everyone enjoyed and commented on how well their meals were prepared and how great the table service was. We will be back soon!

The restaurant has local charm. Not very very expensive but it is nicely decorated and very friendly. My fish sandwiches were perfect and very yummy with the tartar sauce. It also came with fries, hush puppies, slaw. Shrimp po boy sandwiches is also amazing. My husband and I started with the buffalo shrimp, which is a go-to order for us at seafood spots. The buffalo flavor was good, but the sauce was very oily, and several shrimp still had bits of shell attached beyond the tails, so I ended up picking shell out of my mouth while eating. For my entrée, I ordered the snow crab and shrimp platter and asked for it to be cooked without butter but keep the old bay. The plate arrived with no discernible seasoning at all, and the seafood, potatoes, and corn tasted like they'd been boiled in plain water. When I asked about it, the server explained that they don't steam crab or shrimp in Old Bay, despite agreeing to that when I ordered, and that the platters rely on butter for flavor, which was disappointing for a $40-$50 dish. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because my mother did enjoy her lobster platter. That said, her lobster was absolutely swimming in butter and Old Bay--not lightly drizzled as the menu implies--and it felt like butter was the main source of flavor rather than an enhancement. The server even mentioned how much butter the restaurant goes through in a day, which reinforced that this is their primary approach to seasoning. I enjoy seasoning and lots of flavor, and I prefer seafood that's cooked so the spices and the delicious taste of the shellfish stand out, not preparations that rely on heavy butter, so this restaurant ultimately wasn't a good fit for my preferences.

This time around it was time to get out to the Atlantic and drive down the A1A for a ways to take in the ocean air and the endless horizon... and find something good to eat as well. Finding a place that actually has an ocean view is not easy, sadly. You would think there would be more places in the Daytona/Ormond/Flagler Beach area, but there really aren't. Condos being on the beach has killed that scene for a good part, which is very sad. However, there are a couple of places still available... and one of them is Crabby Joe's. Situated out on the end of a pier, Crabby Joe's is a breezy eatery where you can grab some deep fried goodness and a beer if you like. I went for the fish and chips this time around, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of fish that came with the dish. The fish was excellent, and the chips hit the spot as well. Our service was solid as well, as our drinks were kept filled and we were checked on reasonably well. Crabby Joe's has definitely entered our list of possible places to go to for a bite to eat when we are out on the coast!

I was by myself so I went to go sit at a long high top counter that was connected to the bar. The lady that took my order very loudly announced that next time I should order from the bar if I was going to sit at the bar - even if it was what seemed to just be a long extension of the bar that was not directly at the bar. I understand this can be typical policy for most restaurants but it was never said to me when I was ordering and I had not been here before so I wasn't sure since all signage says to order at the front before finding seating. She was a bit rude in how loudly she announced it, using my name as she announced it. The "fish" sandwich was very small for the price (market price - which was over $20) and didn't come with anything on it. There was much much more bun than fish. The fish was bland, even with the blackening seasoning and very mushy - not flaky like mahi should be. The fries were extremely bland and I had to heavily salt and pepper them. They were cheap crinkle cut fries that you get from the frozen section of a grocery store and were still gross after seasoning them myself. The pups were ok. I also ordered a beer (Landshark) which was priced at more than $6 for a draft which I thought was very steep, seeing as most places in the area and beyond price that beer around $3-4 at most. The food was extremely expensive for the quality. The added fries and pups were $4.99 extra. The total was $28 (before tip) for a mushy, bland, very small piece of fish on a fish sandwich. The only positive of this experience was the view - which was beautiful. I will not be returning.
