I came to this location for two separate occasions and both visits have been very helpful and timely. I needed a set of rims and tires mounted for me and they were willing to do it just before closing since I was on a time crunch. They also gave me advice on the kind of tire I bought and when to rotate the tires etc. they also complimented me on my rims I bought. They told me my tires were directional tires so they were very specific on which side of the car they were on and had I not been told this I'd never would have known. The second occasion why I stopped here was to install a muffler on my car which they ended up doing. But I had previous work done from another Monro facility in Auburn And they showed me all the bad work they did on my exhaust And they were willing to fix it for me. So they ended up putting on the muffler I wanted and fix all the work the Auburn location messed up. I couldn't ask for better service and kind employees who care about their customers and making sure that they are happy and relieved of stress when leaving their parking lot. Thank you. read more

Wanted to update from a review I left yesterday. My TPMS hasn't worked since I left Monro. I was told by this so called "manager" Chans that I have to drive the vehicle. I since put on over 100 miles and still doesn't work. They're suppose to program the sensors and they never did. Dealer wants over $100.00 to fix the issue that this place messed up on. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called and told the manager and she just rushed me right off the phone. Will be calling corporate to have this issue resolved. You won't get anywhere talking to this "manager"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Update! 10/8/24 I just found out that the tech typed in the incorrect miles! He added 75k miles to what i have! Once they do the service records it automatically adds to CARFAX etc. I checked carfax this morning and it shows the incorrect miles. So now when I want to sell the car etc it's going to show a mileage discrepancy! It's a headache to now prove the correct mileage. The lazy tech couldn't even take a minute to check the correct miles, he just typed in whatever he felt like. So I suggest if you had service here, check the paperwork or carfax to see if they added miles to your vehicle. I hope and pray this place goes under. read more

My daughter brought her car for a simple weld on the exhaust pipe. They put the car on the lift and inspected the job that needed to be done. They brought her into the garage to tell her that the whole exhaust system was wrong on the car. They attempted to sell a whole new exhaust to her. Then the manager was explaining to her why it's wrong and at the same time the 2 mechanics that were there were laughing at my daughter and making her feel very uncomfortable. The manager then quoted her a $500 fee to simply weld the exhaust pipe that was a 2 3/4" pipe. My daughter refused the service because of the way they treated her in making her leave that place embarrassed and crying. Goes to show how they try to manipulate female customers. I have been going to this Monro for years and now I will take my 4 vehicles to another shop. The customer service that is there now is very unprofessional and rude. read more

They do not pay attention, read notes, or do the work right. I had uneven tire wear due to another issue that was fixed and a flat. I booked on line and was told that was a mistake and that I need to call. They said they could still fit me in but not till the end of the day. I left my car and called later to find out they didn't even get the tires delivered and they would not be in till the next day. I called a few times before it was ready to pick up 15 min before closing the second day. It was dark and poring rain when I picked it up but didn't check and should have. They changed one of the wrong tires. I confirmed several times and made them a note on the receipt driver side front, passanger rear to be clear.... got both fronts. Horrible service and quality and they don't own up to their scam. Went in for a right front shock strut replacement due to spring breaking. When to pick care up , was told they couldn't do an alignment because they were unable to loosen the tie rod bolt. I drove away, not even 10 ft out the parking lot and my car had a bad wobble and very sever alignment. Turned around and Chris the manager, looked at it and said the technician didn't seat the axle properly so the axle/cv joint was toast. They will replace it. They couldn't get the part so they " got an overhaul kit". They didn't charge me obviously because it was their fault. No paperwork either. A month later my car had the same wobble. I brought it to an actual legit auto place and they instantly told me it was the same axle that was overhauled to which had a hose clamp on the cv boot and was leaking. I had them replace it and wouldn't you know they were able to do an alignment as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted monro and Chris moved to another location and Chance now " runs" the show.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I requested the manager of the location to contact me. It's been two months and every time I call she says " I'm emailing him right now ".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She can't give me his number because it's personal and can't give out that info.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I mean he's the manager , his number is how anyone in the business contacts him. I went in on 11/15/2024 on behalf of my company to service a company Van. There were only 2 customers in the store and the customer ahead of me could not afford her services. She asked Chansamone Morrow the manager to allow her to call friends and family to find money. While I was still in line waiting. After about 10 minutes or so waiting, this customer called her whole contact list for money but to no avail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked Chansamone nicely "if you don't mind can I just drop my company van keys for servicing"? She replied "I do mind and you don't have no patience you black people".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I replied "excuse me, she got an attitude and refused to service the van, my company has a major contract with Monro. I walked away because at this point it felt like a power struggle because she felt she was the manager. As I walked away, She followed me out screaming "I will not service the car". My manager went to the store and informed her our company has a contract with Monro and she cannot refuse services. She took the keys and complained to my manger and lied I threaten her and etc. My manager was at the parking lot and saw the whole thing and heard her. I returned back to my Job and this manager chansamone continued to escalate the situation and call my job 3 different times to complain about the incident trying to play victim. She was trying to get me fired because she continued to throw a temper tantrum into around 3pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called Monro requesting their corporate number and she refused and pretended to be corporate and took down my name and information down.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]She hanged the phone on me rudely after she got my name and phone number pretending she will pass it on to her superior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My coworker was sent to pick the van and Chansamone the manager sent a nasty and racial slur messages to be given to me around 3pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mind you this incident occurred at 10am and she is still going on at 3pm. She called my corporate office and no one wanted to hear her cause at this point 2 people as co-workers has forehand witness her unprofessionalism. I ended up calling Southbridge police department to report harassment at this point. I went back to call the cops at the store to get her information so I can take legal actions. She lied and told the cops I threaten her and she is serving me with a No Trespass Notice. I told the cops my part ,they served me and I took it. Mind you, my whole life of living no one has ever banned me from an establishment ever and I am also a well traveled person. I lived in Southbridge for few years and I have never had a bad encounter with any business establishment ever. The power of a manger was abused and she got out of control all because I didn't want to waste my whole work day at her store while she is waiting on a customer to find money and order a tire. This is a lengthy review and all my interactions with her was video recorded. She lied and took it very far and continue to escalate a simple issue she caused. Don't go and service your car there and after all this madness they didn't even fix the car well and the check engine light is still on. I SAW THE REVIEWS ON THIS MANAGER and I am here to tell you it is "very true". I never write reviews online but this was needed to prevent anyone dealing with this psychotic manager called Chansamone. She needs lots of humble pills and you will think a woman her age will know better. She could be someone's Grandmother acting a fool and feeling like a managerial role at Monro is above her customers. Recently visited Monro in Southbridge,MA for a routine oil change and tire rotation on my 2007 prius. Prior to my visit this car was in perfect running order not even a sound coming from the car. I waited for over an hour for the completion of the oil change only to jump in the car, start it up and drive less than 200 feet before the car went uresponsive. I had my Wife and 3 year old son in the car with me while I looked for someone safe to pull over. Good thing I was able to pull over because the instant I pulled over, my dashboard lit up with all kinds of dummie lights. I was able to get the car to start and thankfully we weren't farther away from the Monro shop. I let the front desk representative of my situation and the techs took my car in. The shop had my Wife and 3 year old and myself sit there without offering us a hot coffee, or snack nor did they offer a ride home for almost 2 1/2 hours sitting in a waiting room. This really ruined my night with taking my son out to pick up our Christmas tree. Really a super bummer and frustration. Finally I asked what the conclusion was and they didn't have any answers. The techs said they thought the computer went "Crazy" once the tires were rotated so they tried putting the tires back where they came from before the rotation happened. I'm not a mechanic but I don't think tires prevents a car from starting or running. Monro said they needed to keep the car overnight. After I left the office i have no idea what these techs may have looked at or touched outside of their specialty. They may be ASE certified but they do oil changes and don't specialize in hybrid vehicles like a trained Toyota tech is trained. Monro came to the conclusion that they were over their heads with my cars condition and after speaking with the Store Manager, I was advised to have the car towed to the local toyota service center oh at my expense. To which I responded saying " My car worked before I brought it in for an oil change and now it doesn't run" What do you mean I need to have it towed and diagnosed at my expense. The store manager even told the toyota dealer that I agreed to having the diagnostics and repairs done under my name. I proceeded to contact the store manager to discuss that is not what I said, what I authorized was allowing Monro to have my car towed to Tri State Toyota and that Monro would have to cover the diagnostics to the car. WIthout diagnostics there was no way to rule out Monro wasn't responsible for these repairs. After calling Monro customer service and speaking with their Director of Customer Service Terry, I was told they would only cover a portion of the diag fee and wouldn't be help liable for my car. This is so frustrating. I work for a company that is guilty until proven innocent and works a case from beginning to end unti the customer is satisfied, even if that means having to escalate the case to the appropriate people they atleast work with the customer and not against the customer. I will never have any type of work done at Monro tire brake and muffler ever again. read more

I have taken my car there twice now. Once for an oil change and again for a flat tire repair. Staff is really nice and they finished everything quickly while I shopped/worked out. Was not even charged anything for the flat tire repair. Definitely recommend and will come back with other issues I have in the future. read more

Ever since the new manager, I believe his name is Rich, has been there I've seen a big change is customer service and quailty of work. I've been going to this location since 2014. The waiting room used to be dirty, the guys at the counter unfriendly, nothing on the TV. Now it actually looks like they sweep the floors every once in a while, they have a couple of toys and desk for kiddos to use, they play appropriate movies on the TV to keep customers occupied, and above all the manager is friendly and personable. Now I can't say how this place was pre-2018, but I have been here 3 times in 2018 and feel very satisfied with them each time. Couple months back, I replaced 4 tires on my car with this place on a Sunday evening. It went after closing hours but they stuck around to finish the job and were happy to help! I didn't have appointment so I waited, but that was fair since there's not a lot of places open on Sunday's to help you out without an appointment... and I got turned down from other places so that's why I used monro. Moving forward, I had a tire losing air so I brought it in... I called on Sunday morning and they were able to squeeze me in. It turned out the valve stem was slowly leaking... they were able to take care of it quickly. As of July 2018, I would recommend this place and will use them in future. I have only came by on Sunday's but the guys who work that day are easy-going and do a great job. 5/5 stars read more

I thought it would be a great experience sinceI needed an oil change and no one seemed to accommodate my work schedule. First off the oil change price was not listed online but only a discount price since this was my first time going. Then upon going, the lobby smelled like pot, and when I got onto my car it REEKED!!!!!! The pot smell was so bad that I had to drive with my windows down in the middle of winter. Totally unacceptable! besides that my bill was higher than anywhere Ive ever went to which could have been avoided if their price was listed online. The only reason I gave this 1 star is because Yelp makes you give it something. They should have a ZERO stars option! Never again. This place does not care about the safety of their clients. I should have known better to bring my car back here after a couple years ago when they told me my brakes were in "great shape" when in actuality they were worn so far down you could see the metal. I then made the mistake a month ago by bringing my car here to have the oil changed. I repeat, a MONTH ago. I have a 1999 Chevy Lumina that is my baby. I take extremely good care of my car. I don't even have 56K miles on my car. I am not due for an oil change for about another 800 miles. The past couple of days my car has been making a horrible clicking noise. I noticed on my way home from work last night that my oil lights were flashing like crazy which I thought was strange considering I'm not due for an oil change. I assumed the sound was possibly because we've been having such cold weather. (I'm no car expert, I had no idea.) On my way home my car was struggling to move. I would tap the gas and my poor car just did not want to move. So I pulled off the highway and went to the closest auto parts store I could find. I asked the sweet man inside if he could listen to my car. He happily did and immediately told me to shut my car off and pop the hood. He checked my oil. I HAD NO OIL. Not a drop. He put 2 quarts in and checked again, still nothing, he then put another 2 quarts in. He started my car, the lights went off and the clicking instantly stopped. He told me to never bring my car back to Monroe again because they either 1) didn't put enough oil in my car OR 2) put no oil in my car. I called Monroe this morning and they were incredibly rude. I informed them that if my transmission would have blown because of them I would have sued to have them fix it. He said, "well, that didn't happen so you're fine. That's why you have insurance." Insurance doesn't cover mechanical issues. So if you value your safety and love your car like me, do not EVER bring your car to a Monroe. Spend the extra money and bring it to someone you can trust. If you live in Southbridge, bring your car to Paul over at Pauls Auto. He won't screw you over. read more

Purchased 4 tires here. No problems except they didn't put the valve caps back on all 4 stems. Not a big deal I thought. Then noticed several weeks later that they failed to put my lug nut lock tool back. I called and was told that they have a collection of them that they've forgot to put back in customer's cars and if I wanted to stop by and see if any of them fit my car they would give it to me no charge. Really? I stopped by and the individual I had spoken to tried the 7 or 8 he could find. Obviously this is not a one time event. None of them fit. The worker told me "If it's not here we didn't lose it" and walked away from me. I decided it wasn't worth getting into an argument over and turned to leave. A second worker who had overheard his curt response politely suggested I go to a dealer where I could purchase a new one (which I did). I had changed a flat myself several days prior to purchasing the tires so I know it was in the vehicle when the new tires were installed. No one else has worked on the car since the tires were installed. Lesson learned ... check before you leave the garage and draw your own conclusions on what happened. I have come 3 times to this place. 1st time was with my gf who needed new break pads and rotors. I purchased the rotors and break pads from the auto store nearby with her car specific information. The manager made a HUGE scene saying that he doesn't like to use other places materials. Now he may not like how we did that but him raising his voice to my girlfriend about it which made me become involved was very unprofessional. Next time i came in just for a second i pulled in and as soon as i got out the car he asked do i need something with an attitude. I told him one of my light- he interrupted me and said we don't do electrical here i got nobody to help you here try someone down the street. the 3rd time i came i walked in the front door and he just looked and stared at me didnt even ask what i wanted. I told him i was here for my tire pressure a very simple task. I asked him to check my tire and see if there is a slow leak. He reluctantly takes my keys and 10 mins later comes back from the shop after trying to open my wheel locked tire and tells me my wheel lock key is cracked on the inside. As if someone tried to use it but didnt put it in all the way and cracked inside. IT wasn't like that before but now all of a sudden its cracked.
