She went in simply to look at a used vehicle within her fixed income budget and was manipulated into having her credit pulled multiple times without clear consent. She was told her information was sent to several banks, yet the staff refused to tell her which lenders were contacted or provide her with her credit information when asked. The situation only got worse with the staff's behavior. I was told they were only going to run my credit once, but they went ahead and ran it several times anyway, which now negatively impacts me. On top of that, they tried to add more than $4,500 in bogus fees, including a so-called "reconditioning fee." When I refused to pay for unnecessary add-ons, they completely stopped negotiating with me. Instead of being transparent and respectful, they pushed hidden costs and ignored what I had made clear from the start. In my 70 years, and after buying and selling over 50 cars, I have never been treated so poorly as I was after purchasing a very expensive used car from this dealership. In December 2025, I purchased the car out of state and online. Immediately upon delivery, I discovered an obvious significant safety issue . The general manager initially agreed to pay for the repair, but after receiving several estimates I obtained from two very reputable shops in my area, slow played me and then reneged on reimbursing me for the full cost. Instead, they sent me check covering less than 1/4 of the cost, claiming that this was 'fair' given they gave me a 'good deal' on the car and that they had 'sold more expensive cars than mine without problems.' (In addition to the safety issue, there were other costly problems with the car that I decided to just take care of myself.) Prior to purchasing the car, management was exceptionally attentive to my calls and texts; however, it promptly changed following the sale and became very difficult (to say the least) to reach anyone to assist me. I experienced numerous problems, including delayed delivery of the car, and paperwork mistakes requiring multiple lengthy visits to my DMV. Ultimately, my experience was so unpleasant, and the car was not nearly in the condition as represented by the dealership, that I traded it for another car at a local dealership. This dealership sales lemons. My car overheated within a hour of driving it off the lot. They had to tow my car back to the dealership, and have had it ever since. Sunday made two weeks. The head gasket blew and the heads warped. This should have been caught before it hit the sales floor. Me driving under 50 miles total is not enough to do this damage. The only positive thing about this dealership is Chris in the service department. He has been great. He really needs to get away from this dealership before he is brought down with it. The guy that waited on the tow truck was great as well, but I forgot his name. I was lied to about how many companies they had ran my credit thru after they found out I had pre approval. Also the finance department changed my warranty, finance company, and raised my payment without asking. They don't care about customer experience. They just care about making the sale. I have not heard from my sales manager at all who said he would do what ever he had to do to make it right. He has done nothing!! Avoid this dealership at all cost. I am not the biggest fan of this dealership. Here's why: 1. I am not as patient or kind as my spouse is, so I was already done day 1 when Monroe Nissan was trying to sell me the suv, 4k over what the kbb value listed the vehicle was worth. 2. I was done when they tried to charge us $3600 for a reconditioning fee. Any work a dealership puts into a car is reflected in the msrp, so any charges for "reconditioning" after the fact is their attempt to charge you twice. (Btw that was taken off immediately after we began asking questions about the work that they did on the Suv) 3.I was done when, Monroe Nissan charged an administrative fee of $900 when the standard is between $200-$600. 4.I was done when they shafted us on our trade in offering us $1k to $2k less than the value, because "that's the price they would get at the auction." However, they are selling our suv for almost $6k more on their site. Guess you're not in a rush to get it to the auction, huh guys? Despite my resistance to dealing with them, my husband is an absolute gem and still was kind enough to get me the car I liked and for a price that was way better then the nonsense they were trying to give me before. You would think that after making a lot of $ off us, you would assume that the hospitality would be throught the roof, especially after closing sale, right? Here's the icing on the cake for me: After they wrapped up with the deal, my husband asked them for a bow so he could bring it home to me as a nice surprise. Do you know the manager told him to bring the bow back because she only had one left? Sounds like you should order more, dont you think? How is that a consumer issue? Did I mention that we just spent over $40k with this dealership on an suv, including a $5k extended warranty, and we couldnt even keep the bow? My husband was even questioned about what we were going to do with the bow? It's a bow, not a diamond encrusted bangle! My husband returned the bow today during work! Long story short: I am happy with my car, but will NEVER recommend this place. For the consumers looking to buy-The FTC has many provisions for consumers. So, I had my vehicle towed to Monroe Nissan recently for service because it would not start and the air conditioning was blowing warm air. From beginning to end, the service was dreadful to say the least. Here is the rundown including where Monroe Nissan fell short.... My vehicle was dropped off 4/8/23 and was not ready to be picked up until 4/19/23. This equated to about 7 business days and 11 actual days (including weekends). I have an extended warranty on the vehicle and communication between my extended warranty company and Monroe Nissan was delayed/late at best and non-existent at worst. Numerous breakdowns and many times I was charged with relaying messages between the two. Monroe Nissan attempted to charge me $475.00 for a diagnostic that they told me would cost $189.95 when I dropped my vehicle off. When I gave pushback and cited the reasoning that I was quoted a $189.95 diagnostic rate, the $475.00 charge turned into an "accident" and was reverted back to the $189.95 charge. Monroe Nissan also quoted me for an additional repair (over $2000) (not related to my vehicle not starting or the A/C issue). They stated I absolutely needed it done and my extended warranty company would not cover. I declined the out of pocket repair for the time being since I did not plan ahead for the expense. When I went to pick the vehicle up, I started it up and noticed the check engine light remained ON and the vehicle was idling roughly in park. This is important because the check engine light was NOT on NOR was the vehicle idling roughly when I dropped it off on 4/8. I didn't even drive the vehicle off the lot before I went back to the advisor and gave him the keys to have the rough idle and check engine light addressed. Advisor came back with the tech a few minutes later after they checked it out and stated the reason for the check engine light/rough idling was the out of pocket repair they quoted me that my extended warranty won't cover. Needless to say I walked away feeling suspicious about the advisor and the techs that worked on my vehicle. PLEASE!! Do yourself a favor and stay away from Monroe Nissan's service department. It will save you a lot of time and headache. read more

Leaving this review take it for what it's worth- We purchased a Nissan Pathfinder and initially we were pleased... However, we were promised a few things from about three specific people that turned out to be a flat out lie. We were told that after purchasing the vehicle we would receive the 2nd key fob from Jacob Ahlfeld. He told my fiancé this the day he delivered us the car along with the fact that the sales/finance manager was new and was trying to replace some big shoes but was failing to do so. He apologized on his behalf and said he'd get us the fob ASAP. LOL this was two months ago. Today I reached out to him and he acted as if he had no clue what we were talking about. We have reached out about 4 times regarding this fob and it wasn't until this final request that he tried to say he never told us this. We were also told upon purchasing the vehicle, that the dent in the back would be fixed. To be fair, my fiancé who purchased the vehicle spoke with the sales manager or finance manager and they alluded to fixing the dent after we purchased it. Lesson learned always get things in writing because they failed to do so which was our fault for taking them at their word and not negotiating this into the contract, so they got over on us there. Nonetheless, it's much harder for us to accept not receiving the 2nd fob. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, we received the car and the very next day it began breaking down on us and we had to immediately return the vehicle for them to fix it. They gave us a loaner for About 2 weeks.. The entire day went by and no call from service that car was finished. I called and asked for call back. No calls so I took chance and went to pick up car. It was indeed finished so I let it be known that they need to answer their phone when customers call. The only response I got from a salesman was they were understaffed which I told him that was not my problem but seems like poor management to me. I think the mechanics are really good but the rest of their customer service is very lacking. I am a long-time Nissan fan, and have been coming here for 3 years. After last weekend, I will not be coming back. EVER. I made an an early morning appointment for an oil change, as I always do. I am usually out of the store within 45 minutes. After waiting in line to pull into the garage for over 20 minutes(!) and get checked-in, I was told to pull right behind the van in front, then told "It is going to be a two-and-a-half-hour wait" as if it was no big deal. I told the woman "I have an appointment!" She sarcastically replied to me, "You've already been *in line* for a half hour, what is the big deal??!". I immediately told her this was unacceptable and I want to leave. She told me "the van is in front of you" (blocking my exit). Recall, this is what she told me to do, pull in as far as I can. I demanded the van be moved so I can leave, and they did so as requested. As I was leaving I told her I am not coming back and this is ridiculous. I have never been so mistreated and disrespected at a car dealership. This has infuriated so much that I will likely not be buying another Nissan. If this is how they train their employees to treat customers, then I want no part of this. read more

They had me log on to get one but we all know on a lease car the payoff they get vrs what i get can be different. They under paid my car by 743.75. So to keep my credit right I had to make this payment. I came to the store to ask about it. I was told to leave or be arrested. So I had to call the police to come just to get a copy of the check they sent to audi. audi had reached out to them I have reached out to them 4 times. All they say is its on me not them.
