He ran it from the inside my home... no problem on this day The next day David let co-worker do the job alone. He brought two young girls with him. He fussed at them for cutting the wood wrong. Those girls also urinated in a bucket and poured it out in my NEW pinestraw and covered the tissue the straw as well. Also on this day. I told the guy that the porch/ railings were not straight. He got an attitude and left the property Day 3: David attempted to rescue and correct all mistakes, but the job is just discounted looking. My home was left with huge caulk stains snd NO paint and the porch is just ok looking. Upon him working, he tripped the power twice. Everything went out/ turned back on EXCEPT my air and outlet they used. Mind you my extension cord is for minor house work only. I had no idea they would try to run 2 machines off of it. My outlets were burned out. I mentioned this to him and he immediately went into defense mode. I tried calling the office and they directed me back to David Day 4: I had to phone an electrician and a guy to come check my air conditioning unit out. David told the office so many fibs. He also told me if I get my guy, he'll have get his. I was told they weren't responsible for my air and outlets. I just want my stuff fixed. EVERYTHING WAS WORKING PRIOR TO THEM SHOWING UP THAT DAY. Additionally, they left nails, wood dust, and wood scraps everywhere! The job look very low budget. I rate this place a zero! Please don't waste your time.

Dear Reader, Our experience with Nelson Exteriors was outstanding. Their references were great, but it's really their commitment to exceptional service and execution of agreed upon plans that differentiates them from - quite frankly - all others. From the jump, Jake Mifsud, our sales contact, was courteous, on time, inquisitive about what was most important to us and worked through both scheduling and project budgeting in a very timely fashion. He's positive, responsive and followed up at the end of our remodeling to ensure we were satisfied! Once contracted and turned over to the Nelson project team, Lindsey Trice coordinated our schedule and it was miraculous. One team would finish their work and 30 minutes later the next team showed up. Brilliant! Jeff Van Bever was our project manager. Boy, is he thorough and committed to excellence. We knew we were in capable hands from our very first walk through with Jeff. Given his extensive experience in construction, Jeff spied issues he knew we would need to address citing most to least important along the way. This gave us opportunities to evaluate change orders and what we wanted to fix versus what we could live with. When making a change, Jeff ensured we had the change requirements and costs within 24 (or less) hours. We found change order prices to be very reasonable. He lead a series of terrific teams beginning with construction. We replaced all of our front siding and most of our rear necessitating expert skills. Gustavo, "Cheppe" - aka Juan - and Josh were amazing. So fast and accurate, they completed their part of the renovations in what seemed like a moment. It's worth saying that they always cleaned up after themselves - a priority of ours given bad experiences with other companies. Next up was the painting crew. 5 professionals led by Gonzalo painted the whole house and deck. We installed a new front door and both their exterior paint job and interior - like the rest of the house's painting - looked great. Really appreciated that they, like the construction team, were fast and efficient. When doing the final walk thru with Jeff and Gonzalo we only noted 5 spots that needed further attention. All were immediately done and the painting looks great. The house's jewelry, also known as leaf guard gutters, were capably set in place by Oscar and Bartolo. Arriving at noon (following Gonzalo and team's departure at 11:30am), they set in place a whole wrap-around series of gutters (extensive work) by 7:30pm. I couldn't believe it, but they were done. Again Jeff checked in to make certain their work was completed as stated and that we were pleased. They're beautiful and lend a graceful finishing touch. Nelson Exteriors works with like-minded companies to undertake certain tasks. In our instance, we worked directly with a company they referred - Window Traditions in Johns Creek. Clay Godfree, their sales manager, Chris, their project manager and their crew Mikaill and Welisson were as performance and customer service oriented as the team at Nelson. So glad to have that reference. My only wish is that Nelson Exteriors did interiors. I'd hire them in a nano second! Our experience with Nelson Exteriors was simply best-in-class. They will fix the problems though if you find them. Always inspect new work done by anyone.

The amazing thing is how compassiate he is the work. During the initial visit, he took me for a ride, literally, to other sites he finished. All looked fantastic. I hired the company and he finished the chimney in one day, replacing the underside, which did not exist. They perfectly color matched the house and did a wonderful job cleaning up. He followed up later with a phone call, asking how please I was with the work. I told him that he could bring anybody by to look at the work and compared the house to the chimney. One year and a half later, I called him again for roofing and siding, the whole house. He again whisked me away, to the exact same places. So you know there is no BS in where he worked. I hired him for both again, comparing him with other companies. The rook was finished in one day, cleaned up and all. The siding took nearly two weeks. Siding work is messy, so expect that. I did not. In any case, they worked with me in my daily inspections of the work. If saw something, they corrected it. I had some screens riped. They replaced.
