The service was prompt and quick. I wouldn't wait if a few orders were in front of me which makes me want to say, overall: not great, but not bad. I'm not too sure that whoever owns the food cart loves the craft of chefing up cause the food is pretty mid. The portion sizes were decent for what you pay for. I got the Korean bbq wings 8 for $13 along with curly fries. The Korean bbq wings tasted oddly familiar, just like wing stop. Most of the time, when I get Korean bbq wings they seem to differentiate from each other but if you put these wings in a wing stop bag, I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference. The curly fries tasted exactly how you'd expect. The mac and cheese was more soupy/creamy versus cheesy. When I mean cheesy, I mean that I wanna see that mozzzzzzzuhhrella type cheese pull. I can't say that I'd crave it but I'd be pretty happy for someone else to pay for my meal from here, if that makes sense tehehehehehee The new location that it is in is quite odd, got a weird vibe to it but I can see the vision. Order: Habanero wings, frys, mozzarella cheese sticks Pros: The frys were good. Mozzarella cheese sticks were okay. Cons: the wings were trash simply put! Its like they cooked chicken without seasoning them and then tossed a watered down sauce over them. I actually ate 1 and threw them away they were that bad. I'm writing this because I'm pissed off at the low star reviews for this place. Are you seriously complaining that the fries come from a bag and are too twisty? Go get overpriced limp fries from 5 Guys then. You understand nothing about fry technology if you're hot and heavy for in house fries. This place makes macs. I only tried the mac. I agree that if you put something on your menu you are subject to criticism but I only care about the mac. And the mac is good. The Buffalo Mac met expectations for the flavor profile and I saw plenty of other options too. For a no frills mac this one is hard to beat but prepare your arteries accordingly because this one was a thick customer. It's not pictured well but there were pieces of serviceable fried chicken throughout the dish. Super rich and heavy but somedays that's all you want. The only better macs that come to mind are Le Bistro Montage's and Screen Door but for a wider variety of flavors I like what they've got going on here the most read more

Been here 3 times. First time, took about 30 minutes to get my food (they told me it would take 20 before I ordered) and the wings were really good. Solid fries. Second time, they were busy so they said I couldn't even ORDER for 30 minutes. I went somewhere else. Third time, during their open hours, I walked up to a sign that said they were on break for 30 minutes. I went somewhere else. So, 3 attempts, the only time I actually got food I waited 30 minutes, and half of what I want to order isn't even on their online menu. Love the wings but this place is infuriating. read more

Ordered via uber eats. Got Mac & cheese bites ($7.75), cheese fries ($9.95), jalapeño poppers ($8.25), and Monster buffalo Mac ($19.25). It all tasted like frozen food microwaves. The cheese lacked flavor & tasted like it was from a can. The fries both were unseasoned, soggy, and not really "cheesy". I could microwave frozen fries from the store and add shredded cheese and have been more satisfied. Mac and cheese bites tasted like freezer. The jalapeño poppers were a great blend of jalapeño and old grease. Also tasted like freezer and was soggy. Monster buffalo mac... pretty sure it was chicken nuggets cut up and put into a flavorless cheese sauce with franks red hot to try to mask the lack of flavor. Arrived at the Midtown pod around 6 in the evening. To find most pods closed or perhaps never opened on a beautiful, sunny Sunday. The carts my family and I were interested in were of course closed. We gathered to meet with friends, because we had family visiting from out of town, and we needed a variety of food options ( dietary choices, picky eaters, etc. ). My family, non meat eaters (children in particular) found the Mac n cheese to be the only appetizing option at that time; settled on Monster Mac. It was disappointing to say the least. No imagination to this Mac just an unseasoned sauce tossed over elbow macaroni. Where is the imagination besides throwing some toppings into a uber basic sauce and up-charging. There is no reason this Mac n cheese should cost $20 a container. Buyer beware. Service was lack luster, just like the food. read more

Wings and fries were high quality and delicious, I even got an extra wing. Staff was friendly and brought out extra napkins for us. Super chill at 11pm when we went. Only problem I had was that it took a little longer to get than I expected, and I'm sure it would be worse when they are busy, but it still wasn't too bad. And it's a little pricey, but that's also coming from someone from out of state. Although I saw afterwards that apparently there's a pretty good student discount. overall good experience with some delicious food. If you're looking for a late night meal, this is a spot to try! We came at 3:30 am and ordered the street mac, it wasn't our most ideal Mac & cheese. It was a more watery cheese sauce that needed a little more flavor, but the noodles were cooked perfectly. Good portion size and not bad for the price, especially for a late night meal. The food came out in a timely manner and the guy who checked us out was telling us how they're new to the block. Our friends ordered the garlic parm Mac and the garlic shrimp Mac and they were both very happy with their meals. Next time we'll have to try their wings and their lunch special that comes with two burgers, two sides and two drinks for $25. read more

Absolutely awful by MY *Chef's* palate. Mac & "Cheese" that mainly tasted like flour roux, and barely like cheese of any kind. Buffalo boneless wings (because the bone-in choice was unavailable) wasn't chicken TOSSED in buffalo sauce, it was chicken DROWNED in buffalo sauce that probably came out of a Sysco #10 CAN. Seriously, I *hate* beating down on a restaurant. They know their clientele (as pedestrian as it may be). I'm a Chef, and I don't expect that in a to-go joint, but DAMN! This SUCKED, top to bottom, and those two items with free deliver cost me $36!! read more

This place is located in the Midtown Beer Garden, which is a revamped food cart lot. It is a great location with plenty of other choices of food, and even a cart with beer and other boozy drinks. I've been to this cart two times, and have been greeted with friendly employees each time. I've tried two of their mac n cheeses, and they've been delicious both times. I also got the large size, which is more than enough to fill up 2-3 people. Will keep coming back. read more

However the last 3 times I have been there the fries are undercooked and they changed them to steak fries instead of crinkle fries. Please return the crinkle fries! So I was here the other night as forced on me by the Jewish Stepparents visiting from Flo-rida. There was no good food carts in this pod with the exception of the Chinese women in the metal tin cart. Despite my best efforts to like this place, I simply could not enjoy anything about this place. The chicken tenders I got for my daughter was too salty. The fries were not made in-house but came directly a bag. The twisty fries, were too twisty and therefore I got tangled in its essence. The worst worst part of all this was when I went back to ask for "some" ketchup, the stingey guy working gave me one and dared to charge me one USD for a second one. He could have told me to F my Mother and I would have been less insulted. Who in the world charges for ketchup? Who rations out ketchup? What third world country am I living in where I have to pay for ketchup? When confronted, the guy said "I put a free ranch dressing in your box of fries." That's when I knew this guy was missing a couple screws in his head, because he thinks french fries with ranch. I really really wanted to love the Monster Mac, but I couldn't given the difference in world views. Much love, will never visit again. read more

The mac and cheese takes a while to prepare, but that's a good sign of its freshness. The portion size is generous, especially for the regular size. Unfortunately, the wings were a letdown; they were small and didn't live up to the high price. The biggest issue, though, is the lack of transparency with their pricing.
