    Frys & Chicken Wings
    Terrence M.

Order: Habanero wings, frys, mozzarella cheese sticks Pros: The frys were good. Mozzarella cheese sticks were okay. Cons: the wings were trash simply put! Its like they cooked chicken without seasoning them and then tossed a watered down sauce over them. I actually ate 1 and threw them away they were that bad. It took a minute for the food to come but there was only 1 person working.

I'm writing this because I'm pissed off at the low star reviews for this place. Are you seriously complaining that the fries come from a bag and are too twisty? Go get overpriced limp fries from 5 Guys then. You understand nothing about fry technology if you're hot and heavy for in house fries. This place makes macs. I only tried the mac. I agree that if you put something on your menu you are subject to criticism but I only care about the mac. And the mac is good. The Buffalo Mac met expectations for the flavor profile and I saw plenty of other options too. For a no frills mac this one is hard to beat but prepare your arteries accordingly because this one was a thick customer. It's not pictured well but there were pieces of serviceable fried chicken throughout the dish. Super rich and heavy but somedays that's all you want. The only better macs that come to mind are Le Bistro Montage's and Screen Door but for a wider variety of flavors I like what they've got going on here the most

    Cheese fries $9.95

Ordered via uber eats. Got Mac & cheese bites ($7.75), cheese fries ($9.95), jalapeño poppers ($8.25), and Monster buffalo Mac ($19.25). It all tasted like frozen food microwaves. The cheese lacked flavor & tasted like it was from a can. The fries both were unseasoned, soggy, and not really "cheesy". I could microwave frozen fries from the store and add shredded cheese and have been more satisfied. Mac and cheese bites tasted like freezer. The jalapeño poppers were a great blend of jalapeño and old grease. Also tasted like freezer and was soggy. Monster buffalo mac... pretty sure it was chicken nuggets cut up and put into a flavorless cheese sauce with franks red hot to try to mask the lack of flavor. Noodles also SOGGY‍ I think anyone who has enjoyed this was intoxicated, never eaten fresh food, or was their only meal of the week. If you want better try your local grocery stores frozen section. Same cost too

If you're looking for a late night meal, this is a spot to try! We came at 3:30 am and ordered the street mac, it wasn't our most ideal Mac & cheese. It was a more watery cheese sauce that needed a little more flavor, but the noodles were cooked perfectly. Good portion size and not bad for the price, especially for a late night meal. The food came out in a timely manner and the guy who checked us out was telling us how they're new to the block. Our friends ordered the garlic parm Mac and the garlic shrimp Mac and they were both very happy with their meals. Next time we'll have to try their wings and their lunch special that comes with two burgers, two sides and two drinks for $25.

    Large size is...large!

This place is located in the Midtown Beer Garden, which is a revamped food cart lot. It is a great location with plenty of other choices of food, and even a cart with beer and other boozy drinks. I've been to this cart two times, and have been greeted with friendly employees each time. I've tried two of their mac n cheeses, and they've been delicious both times. I also got the large size, which is more than enough to fill up 2-3 people. Will keep coming back.

Street Mac. It is like Mexican street corn and Mac. It was so good.

We had the Buffalo Mac and the Street Mac. They both were delicious and I will definitely be back.

The best Mac and Cheese I've had in a long time. The service was great and we got our meal in a timely manner. You've got to try it!

Ordinary wings that took forever because there was only one person working the truck. Would NOT wait again, not for $17 or $2.25 a wing.

They make an effort but the results are lackluster for the price. Skip. Sorry. I don't understand how this business survives moving forward.

The crab fried rice is a fan favorite for good reason--it's flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. My personal favorites are the samosas and the roasted cauliflower, both of which are full of amazing spices and prepared with so much care. What really makes Nom Nom stand out, though, is the people behind it. The owners and chefs are genuinely welcoming and passionate about what they do, creating an atmosphere that feels just as memorable as the food itself. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, you're always treated like family. Great food, wonderful people, and a warm, inviting experience make Nom Nom one of my favorite places to eat.

I don't know if we came on a bad day or is it just bad?…read more We got the wings and they were so small that three of them would equal the same size of a wing at another proper place. But even worse, they were so dry that it felt like it was heated at 400° for 30 minutes. And for $16 that's horrific, I would say that this is like the wings you would find at a dive bar at 11 PM with no choices, and they would probably only charge you about $8 to $10. The Momo was just simply not good. We got the chili chicken and they were extremely small, over fried, and the sauce taste just like a store-bought, sweet thai chili sauce Lastly, we got the nacho for nacho week and oh my God was that a disappointment as well. It came out extremely cold, and it might be intended to serve not hot, but this was like straight out of the fridge cold. If you look at the pictures they have on the nacho week website, it looked nothing like it. It was a disgrace as it was probably 90% nacho in 10% everything else. If you split up the toppings, it would only need about four or five chips before you've exhausted all the toppings that came with it. Then you're left with 90% of just tortilla chips. I don't know how this place got so many good reviews but either this is a really bad day, but we got three separate dishes that were all bad, but I'm inclined to think that it's just simply bad.

Walked in and was pretty surprised there was no one around. (Head-scratch) OK, I'll try them anyways. No one at the counter either. I checked out the menu board and just waited, np. Out comes, possibly the owner or cook, whom was helpful about the types of wings and sauces but that was about it with the interaction. I guess helpful enough, even thought I've never been here. So I went with the 12-piece Bone-in Wing Combo (@ $29.49), which also comes with fries and coleslaw. The sauces I chose were the galbi and hot honey mustard as recommended. At first, I wasn't sure which wings were which, meaning they both almost looked the same. But obviously the hot honey mustard was lighter in color versus the galbi. The wings were crispy and excellent, but a tad bit over saucy. I wish I had more crisp on the outside. Maybe I'll ask for sauce on the side next time. Also, the big box of Crinkle Fries were decent, but I thought the coleslaw for some reason was very peppery. I didn't understand why. I guess that's their style of slaw, idk. Overall, I really wanted to love this joint, but I feel that it's just a 3-star kind of place imho. It's the price versus taste versus how hot it was outside. Unfortunately, the place didn't have any a/c on and the tables didn't look as clean as the other older posted pics on yelp. Someday, I'll be back to hopefully upgrade my review, but for now, it is what it is.

Flavor was great on this, and it had a crisp, crunchy batter - Wok fried yu choy: great wok char - Smoked pork krapao: crispy pork belly pieces, a fried poached egg (literally deep fried). Break up the yolk to dip with the pork. The cucumbers and green beans are a nice clean accompaniment; spicy fish sauce was great - White curry with brisket burnt ends: I've never had a white curry, but the white curry and cauliflower was a great match for the super rich brisket pieces. I love the interesting combination! Note: pretty much everything has some spice to it, so for kids, the jasmine rice and yu choy are the main items, though my older daughter did ok with the fried chicken and brisket! Music was great, and all of the food flavors were bold. Though flavor combinations were unique, everything was cohesive.
