Simple, classic, slightly trashy, and pretty well done. Safe bet for a cheesesteak. Quite generous on the sandwich size as well. Guy taking orders was a nice guy. Conveniently in front of where the world cup was being played.

Atmosphere: Food truck in Pioneer Square Food: I had high hopes for this one as it actually resembled a Philly Cheesesteak, packed with meat. The cheesesteak overall was good but the bread was a major miss. Got really soggy and required the cheesesteak to be eaten almost like a burrito in the wrapper. Price: Prices were what they should be for a cheesesteak. Unfortunately, most places in Portland charge way too much. These guys got it right. Service: Good service. Were able to lightly grill the onions like my preferred cheesesteak spots in Philly do it. Parking: Street parking. Parking near Pioneer Square is a hassle. Best to take public transit.

OMG!!!!! If you haven't eaten here, you are truly missing a great Philly cheesesteak experience. I watch as he slaps that bun plumb full of steak with onions and peppers and mushrooms and cheese overflowing on that hot but. He wraps it all up in tinfoil. There are several sauces to choose from, too. He also makes a chicken cheesesteak and a Reuben sandwich. He has the traditional chips and soda or water. He is smack dab in the middle of the action on Pioneer square. He has a great personality and a great customer service approach. Go there soon and tell him Rene and Barkley said Hi. I buy my dog a tray of just steak on occasion just for him. He also has punch cards for a free footlong.

I guess some folks may want to take my review with a grain of salt because every time I've had a Philly cheesesteak while in the city of Philadelphia, I have been super disappointed, and this may be an indication that I don't know what a real Philly cheesesteak is supposed to be like. That being said, I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak I had at this spot. The amount of meat piled onto that bread, accompanied by a generous amount of veggies, and topped with provolone cheese for just a dollar more was amazing. Juicy and very filling, I highly recommend you go with the original before trying anything else. This food truck/cart is situated in a very cute way with other great eateries and has a few outdoor tables to enjoy your food. Lastly the guy working was super helpful and efficient. Easy five-star review.

Have walked past this place a few times and after reading reviews decided to check it out. We went with the medium, and since we were sharing it (because we forgot to ask them to cut it in half) we took it home to cut it. I am glad we did--this thing was so full of toppings it would have been too messy to sit and eat at tables that aren't really sanitary. This is one of the best phillys we have ever had. It was not skimpy or over seasoned. We would definitely return. Maybe go for the large next time lol. It was still filling enough splitting between two people though.

This cart is amazing!!! Ben is super helpful and friendly when the cart across (Tacos Fita) refused to accept split payment. In spite of mean people there are still kind business owners out there! Food is amazing and huge!!! Thank you again Ben for your kindness!!!

Had a really great chicken Philly at this cart in Pioneer Square today. Great price too. Service was very good. Gotta come back and hit the steak Philly. A+!

Ordered the large Philly no mushrooms and it was big, messy, and good. Bread is a bit soggy even seconds after getting the sandwich but if you're more of a size queen this one will leave you feeling full

The small Philly Cheesesteak and a can of Coca-Cola.

The food is amazing. I strongly recommend getting the Cheesesteak. I regularly get the small or extra small Cheesesteak. The service is great and fast. Since it's located on Pioneer Square it's a great place to have lunch and people watch.

Ooh, that goes cheesy cheesesteak sandwich is so good here. Especially on those cold nights at Pioneer Square. I ordered the medium size, and it was jam-packed with meat and packed full of flavor.

    Amazing cheesesteak sandwich!!!

As a very proud East Coaster, these guys know what they're doing. The cheesesteak was amazing. The steak was coned perfectly. The onions and peppers ratio was on point. Real provolone cheese was the top of the pyramid of an amazing sandwich. Get your sandwich and sit in one of the Adirondack chairs and enjoy it. You won't be disappointed. Go here. Stop looking for other places and go here. I'll be there guy with the Boston accent ordering more.

It had a panko crust which sometimes I prefer to batter. They were a little bit salty for my taste but ever since I got COVID lots of things have tasted salty so take that with a grain of salt I'm not a tartar sauce guy but this is some great sauce. I feel like later I got a piece of tarragon(?) out of my teeth and reminded me of the herby yummy sauce. I scoffed at first at the chips. Very non uniformly cut but surprisingly all well cooked. I don't know if it's they type of potato but the skin was really off putting. But solid toothsome chips that a splash of vinegar helps a lot. If I end up in a similar position again I'll definitely consider coming back.

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!
