Montague Brothers is an absolutely amazing local coffee shop! Great coffee, yummy food, and even BETTER people!

I'm such a huge fan of Montague Brothers! I only wish I lived closer! I spent about a week in town for work and came to Montague Bros practically every day. I volunteered to make the coffee runs because I knew I'd get at least a few minutes to enjoy the live music while I was in line. I tried the matcha and coffee, and everything was lovely. And the best part - it was a crowd pleaser when I brought it back for the rest of the crew. The staff was also incredibly kind and so helpful with labelling drinks for me. The service was great. My order was ready quickly. Super sweet and friendly cashier took my order. Coffee was delicious. Perfect latte actually! I also got the turkey patty bread less sandwich with cherry tomatoes and guacamole which was a big disappointment since the guacamole was not edible (spoiled, black and bland). The cherry tomatoes were also not fresh and were not good. The egg and bacon were fine. Awesome ambiance. I love that their beautiful sweet dog is always there laying on the couch. Can't believe it was my first time to this cute little coffee shop. I love how they have indoor and outdoor seating available. The little library section inside with books available to read was nice. I love that they had so many different flavor options for their tea and you can mix them snd do hot or cold. I got ice black tea with strawberry and mango which was refreshing. My friend got the Italian soda and was able to pick between a ton of flavors and got the blackberry and lavender which was really yummy and not super sweet. This cute coffee spot can be easily missed on the road but once you step inside it has a cute vibe. Came here for the first time after planning to come for awhile. Ladies up in the front are so sweet! Informed the barista that it was my first time and helps me navigate through the menus. Located on the corner of Palomar St and Wildomar Trail. Parking can be limited especially during peak hours. This coffee shop is absolutely lovely, with such a cozy and inviting atmosphere and there's a peaceful patio out back that's perfect for relaxing. I had their 'Matcha Latte' chilled and a slice of 'Banana Bread'. The latte was smooth and creamy. The banana bread was so soft and fresh. Everything was delicious and satisfying! Such a gem of a coffee shop You can truly feel that it's family-owned from the moment you walk in--everyone is so kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about the experience. The space itself is so cute and cozy, with the perfect atmosphere to hang out, catch up, or just enjoy a slow morning. The coffee is always amazing--consistently good and clearly made with love. Great coffee! Had an impromptu coffee date with my sister and bestie this morning at Montague Brothers Coffee. As first time customers we had a great experience. Nicole patiently guided through the menu and made suggestions. She was very friendly and told us her and her husband owned the place and named it after her two boys. She was very sweet and friendly. I searched for coffee in Menifee and Montague came up on the list. I love the backstory and they also sold beans. But Wildomar? Where the heck is that? I had never been and Google maps took me through the countryside to get to it! MBC is very popular! The parking lot was packed, and there were a lot of people inside. Nice seating area with small tables and a couple lounge chairs, and I just missed the live music. They have the standard coffees available, some signature coffees, but the monthly special coffees are the ones you need to look at. They were all so unique! Me: I don't know which one to choose. They all look good! She: I really like the Beach Blonde Latte Me: Sold! Why not let one of the people working choose for me? Made my life easier. The staff was all very friendly! I also got a bag of Raphael's Blend and a bag of Mr. Perfect Chaos for home. Asked them to grind them for me. My car smelled like coffee the whole way back to San Diego. That latte was delicious and just what I needed. Don't know when I'll be back, but at least I know there's a great place to stop by if I'm in the area. Not too far from the 15, so why not? Espresso shots were light and aromatic with a full effect punch of energy. Second, the Perfect Chaos Latte with almond milk was great pairing of lavender and raw honey which was not too florally and solid safe spring coffee drink. Highly impressed overall with their espresso bean quality Food: We tried the Grand-Avocado Toast one with thick pieces of bacon and one without bacon. Flavor combo of the Mexican cojita cheese, fresh jalapeños and avocado hit the spot. The employee was so sweet and gave us two pieces since the bread was a smaller portion (considerate and nice service). Their baked goods are made in house and bagels are from New York. This place lives up to the 4.8 star reviews. This is located a short distance from the freeway exit easy to find. It is cozy inside and feels community based with a community board! I am very happy I found this place on Yelp. Now I'm sad it's not closer to my home base. The woman at the counter was very nice and patient as I told her it was my first time and overwhelmed with the options. I asked for suggestions on what was best between tiramisu and butter me up (speciality coffees for the holiday - valentines) I got the tiramisu and loved it! I have had numerous tiramisu coffee and none have tasted like this!! It's my favorite dessert and this coffee was AMAZING. Not too sweet it was perfect! I also ordered the Wildomar sandwich substitute the bread for a jalepano bagel and it was delicious! Lovely place where everyone is welcoming! The owners are very involved with the community and fundraising and I love that! They have a lovely cold brew range, my favorite being the orange or bourbon! They pair them with very tasty cold foams. My favorite food is the jalapeño cream cheese avocado toast with bacon or the protein stacks! Parking is a bit difficult and it can get very busy and loud on the weekends, but this just attests to the lovely community they have created! read more

Ultimately Ive gone here a few times and wanted to before a final review. Overall I think the place is really cute! However I would definitely skip the matcha! The matcha there is a very very light matcha and has always been clumpy in my opinion and Ive had better. The coffee is decent but honestly it can be very sweet sometimes and not have that distinct coffee flavor. The service is also decent as I have never had a horrible experience there due to the customer service. Ive gone here with my sister and she has gotten a sandwich and her complaints were that it was very dry and that portion was very small for the price. read more

Coffee is so good and my favorite is the strawberry matcha. My only struggle is service is slow even when it seems like it's not that busy. The employees could be a little friendlier and work with more urgency so that service feels more up to par. I only ever once asked for my matcha to be remade because I was obvious matcha wasn't mixed well and they did, but employee didn't seem to happy about it and looked at me like didn't know what I was talking about. We just recently switched our kids to Wildomar Elementary, so we've been walking them to school each morning and passing by Montague Brothers & Coffee. Today I went in just to ask for a water cup, but instead the owner introduced me to their eco-friendly glass water bottles. Not only are they reusable and a great idea, but once you buy one, you get free refills! To my surprise, he even blessed me with a water bottle on the house. That small act of kindness really made my day. I've always heard good things about Montague Brothers, but had never gone in since I'm not a coffee drinker. After today, I can honestly say they are building a smart business by offering thoughtful, non-coffee options too. I would support this business 1,000 times over.
