I came in with a group and was recommended to come to this place. The owner was very nice. It was early in the morning and I noticed he had a bunch of teas. I'm a tea girlie. So I ordered the chai tea latte and he made it very quickly. The drink was really hot so I set it down while my group and I talked, however one of the persons in my group noticed that there wasn't a teabag in my cup and I'm like yeah you're right. The cafe and a rustic feel to it, with the wood and dim lighting. There is floor to ceiling windows so plenty of natural light. I saw they have coffee, mugs, and other knick knacks for sale. They have a big pastry stand with bagels and other pastries. There were a few people coming in and out. The mugs are $17, which is pretty steep. The menus are hung almost to the ceiling. There is a drinks menu and a food menu. I decided to get a breakfast burrito and an iced cookie butter latte. The barista seemed annoyed and in a bad mood when I asked some questions about the menu. My total came out about $15. My order was for to go and did not take too long. My burrito was wrapped in green tortilla, which I was surprised about. Located in the Albertsons shopping center this Rise to Grind is easy to access. There's plenty of parking. Limited seating inside but it's cozy. The service is flat, not welcoming. The pastries are basic. I got a chocolate scone and it was strange. I've had better. I got a medium Americano with white chocolate sugar free flavor. The coffee itself was underwhelming. I pulled up to the place on Monday 2-3-25 around 7:20 pm and the lights were on and as I was about to get out of the car, they turned their lights off and closed shop. Rise to Grind ended up being a great option for this, with ample comfy seats and an atmosphere that wasn't too quiet or too loud. I'm not big on coffee, I got a tea and it was reasonably priced which I appreciated. It was good, but it wasn't much more than a grocery aisle tea bag in a cup of hot water, haha. While it would've been nicer to get something a bit more special, it was cheap and decent and the employees were fine with everyone in the shop who was grabbing a drink to and hanging around to chat or do some work. This is our neighborhood coffee shop. It's comfortable. The barista know us as well as the owner, it's my favorite spot for coffee.

Ordered a latte and it was okay. Also ordered an egg and cheese bagel sandwich. The bagel was so dry and old I could barely swallow it. Asked for a side of cream cheese to help and they wanted to charge me an additional $1.25 (to the $4.25 I already paid for the inedible sandwich). I told the employee the sandwich was dry and inedible and she just said "oh sorry." No offer to fix it, no offer to give me something to help it go down. Won't return. read more
