The dry ribs had the right amount of salt and pepper. The mini yorkshire's were a highlight. Our server Rabeaca was awesome. Very warm and friendly - always had a smile. Came around enough times to see how were were doing without being too pressured. We started going to different Original Joe's and this one is really good. My ranch and dill dip were room temp the second time around, which was somewhat unsettling. First trip, my date and I had Stella - it was on special and it was tasty and crispy. On my second visit, my date had an ice cold Guinness, I had the blond, both were cold and refreshing. I tried a sip of the Guinness and it was the best I have ever had. I would go there for drinks, but if I'm looking for a solid meal, Original Joes would not be my first pick, I think there are better places but it is conveniently located and you know what you're going to get. The owner is not local and let the staff do whatever they want because they do not come out to see what they are doing. Like the environment, its okay for a dive bar... do not like the staff and will NOT go into this establishment unless they get rid of the poor staffing. I would visit ANY location in Cochrane besides this place, there are WAY better options with lower pricing and staff that actually care and pay attention.
