When in Puerto Rico, support local! Miguel, boat owner and captain, and his gf are two of the best…read morepeople you'll ever meet! We booked with Miguel for a half day yacht outing for a bachelorette party and it couldn't have gone better! During booking, Miguel was so patient and was able to accommodate our whole party, even when we had a booking mishap and he had to send our booking offer multiple times. As soon as we booked, Miguel sent us a text thanking us and giving us super detailed instructions. The boat - ya'll the boat! The boat was so spacious, comfortable, and clean with ample seating and a bathroom with shower downstairs. As soon as we boarded, Miguel took us to Icacos, where the water was crystalline clear and the sand pristine. It was such a vibe - he let us connect and play our music, and Miguel and his gf were rocking out with us. When we anchored at the island, Miguel started taking out all the goodies from the boat! We had life jackets for the girls who couldn't swim, thick noodles for floatation, snorkel gear to see the fishes, and a giant floatation mat connected to the boat for sunbathing! And then the heavy gear came out - we were so confused when we saw a drone flying near us. It turns out Miguel has a drone he uses to capture footage of the trip that he sends to you in near real time! It was increeeeedible! Miguel's girlfriend is also such a photographer - she took the best angles and even gave us posing tips! During our outing, they surprised us with the best food - we had a charcuterie with cheese, cold cuts, fruits, chips and the best guacamole I've ever had! They also gave us made-to-order burgers - we had salmon, beef, and vegetarian patties as options! I opted for the salmon burger and it was the best I've ever had. Seared to perfection with a self-serve bar of condiments and toppings. The actual best after swimming for so long! Miguel was so great to talk to - we had a conversation about yachts and the cost and upkeep, as well as how the industry is run in PR. You can tell how much Miguel loves sailing by the way he talks about it - he's so passionate, caring, and an absolute delight to talk with. I also have to stop to give special kudos to Miguel's gf! One of our girls got super seasick, and Miguel's girlfriend literally held her hair back for her and gave her dramamine to help with the nausea. I ended up with a huge cut on my foot and she had waterproof bandages and disinfectant at the ready! She really felt like one of the girls and was such an incredible human. In case it isn't crystal clear like the waters of Icacos, Utopia Tours PR is legitimately a slice of utopia. You won't regret coming out - Miguel puts in so much effort and love into every booking, and it shows. If I could give 10000000 stars I would, legit the best yachting experience I've had!

We arrived on time and we were warmly greeted by the captain and 2 crew. After a basic safety briefing we charted out towards Culebra in overcast weather. Instead of Culebra we settled on the uninhabited beach of Caya Luis Pena before Culebra with crystal clear waters in about 20 minutes. The waters were translucent clear turquoise and beach sand was pristine. Water temp was around 79-80F. Weather was overcast and comfortably cool. They laid out a simple light sandwich buffet for lunch with beers and tropical cocktails. Snorkeling, swimming and relaxing for a few hours, we spotted small schools of fish and a very cool bachelor Stingray circling looking for scraps. Crew was incredibly friendly and helpful and everyone enjoyed the short beach visit. The return trip was much smoother and after jumping back on the bus we were able to stop by a bbq joint for coconuts and fried stuffed empanadas.

From the pickup to the drop-off, everything was seamless and well organized. But what really made this experience unforgettable was our tour guide, Orlando. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest, its history, wildlife, and ecosystem, and he made the entire adventure both fun and safe. Orlando guided us through natural water slides, cliff jumping, rope swings, and swimming spots, making sure everyone felt comfortable and secure every step of the way. The day was packed with adventure, laughter, and amazing memories. He also did a fantastic job bringing the group together--we all connected, mingled, and had a great time as if we'd known each other for much longer than a few hours. If you're visiting Puerto Rico and considering a trip to El Yunque, I cannot recommend Spot In Tours enough. And if you have the chance to tour with Orlando, take it--you won't regret it. I'll absolutely be booking this tour again the next time I'm back in Puerto Rico.

It was a nice and chill hike. Very easy, flat for the most part. The only uphill hike is the on the trail to reach El Morrillo, which are two bunkers left over from WW2. They overlook the ocean and we're used to spot German U-boats. It was pretty cool, and the view is even cooler. The Reserve has beach access. I believe you can get in so bring a bathing suit if you plan on taking a dip. The same trails for hiking are used for bike riding, so be aware for bikers. Also, if you are riding a bike, be mindful of hikers. The Reserve has a fishing platform. They don't rent fishing equipment. You have to bring your own. We saw a guy catch a tilapia. The lagoon is great for birdwatching so bring those binoculars. Overall, this is a perfect spot for a family outing and also a date (of your date enjoys the outdoors). Note: the address and pin on this page are incorrect. The address says Bayamón,PR instead of Humacao,PR. The pin has it on Just off PR-3. That is wrong. It is right on PR-3. You will see the entrance on the right. I made the edit, hopefully the update will be up soon. This spot is worth visiting.

He is totally hooked now after taking this excursion! I really appreciated the personalized service both before, during and after our tour with Sea Vieques. Captain Judi was very clear and personal with her communications before our tour date. She made contact with me via e-mail at least 3 times before we even got to Vieques. This made me feel so at ease so we didn't feel like we were going to meet some stranger and go out on their boat. During our boat ride, she and Katie were so friendly and personable. Judi gave a very in-depth and enthusiastic overview of all the fish and wildlife we were going to see on our snorkel. I really appreciated this, knowing what to expect and look out for. Of course, we had a couple bonuses that she pointed out during our snorkel including a lion fish and a gigantic puffer fish! She continuously checked to make sure that all members of our snorkeling party were accounted for, comfortable and having a good experience. It's the little things that matter when taking a trip like this. We were never without a drink whether it was water, juice, soda or a fantastic and tasty pina colada! They even served these drinks in high quality cups with tops and straws so you didn't have to worry about spilling (alcohol abuse!). You can definitely tell that Captain Judi takes a lot of pride in what she does and is totally professional and fun. She has a great passion for the reef and the wildlife that is contagious! We went home and did research on some of the fish we saw this day and on other days. There was SO MUCH to see! Lunch was served after our snorkel and was delicious. I've never been on a snorkel that served food and I have to say it was such a great touch. After swimming around in the water, we were definitely hungry! On the way back, we took advantage of the ride on the front of the catamaran on the "trampoline" up front and had a BLAST! Overall, totally great experience. We couldn't have asked for a better day out on the boat with such a great tour company and host!

She also carries a whistle that you can hear underwater and would call us over for any particularly cool fish she spotted. We saw 2 huge (HUGE) puffer fish amongst a ton of other good stuff. Lunch was delicious and so were the home made pina coladas. I would go again in a heartbeat.

What a great, happy captain and tour!…read more Frank is a USCG Master Captain and is fluent in both Spanish and English. He has a great wealth of knowledge on the history and current situation of Monkey Island, Isla de Mona. According to Frank, the monkeys were brought over in the 1930's by American researchers for scientific purposes from India,as they're closely related to us humans. It's the largest colony of monkeys in the world. Because of its sensitivity, only researchers are allowed on the actual island. However, Frank gets close enough to the island to observe a lot of the monkeys. He also anchors at a responsible length away to ensure that he does not disturb the monkeys. If you'd like to get even closer, he has a kayak, but again, he'll kindly remind you to be mindful of the monkey's habitat and that you cannot go on the island. Apart from the Monkey Island tours, he does snorkel, kayak, dive and fish. The boat is safe and has water, life jackets and other safety measures like a fire extinguisher. He will even play some music for you! My father and the people I was with, didn't get seasick, but I'll be honest, I did a little...so keep that in mind if that might be you! Haha Bring something that controls seasickness - it is a boat ride after all.
