Let me break it down -- - Their office is clean and modern, like one would expect these days. It's also right in the center of things in the Treasure Valley with great parking. - They are super-responsive by phone and text. Answered every question I posed within the hour(!) - Eric walked me through collision vs. comprehensive coverage and everything else I needed to know to make informed decisions. - This may not be the case for everyone, but the rates I got for home and two cars beat every other place I checked. And we used to be insured with USAA, which I thought gave special rates for military families. I'm saving $1800+ annually. I haven't filed a claim yet - knock on wood I won't ever have to - but I'm certain that Eric and his team will take good care of me then, too.

He now insures 5 homes and 2 cars for me. Over the years I've filed multiple auto claims and been very happy with the customer service and coverage I have received. While many of my friends/co-workers often complain about their insurance companies nickel/diming them or trying to weasel out of paying claims I've often gotten better coverage than I anticipated. One specific example: I recently contacted Dwayne after my dishwasher sprung an impressive leak and did extensive damage to my hardwood floors. He sent a contractor out to evaluate whether it would beneficial fro me to file a claim (aka damage exceeding my deductible) and when it was determined that it was the adjuster was fast, professional, and his coverage total was 25% higher than the repair bid I received. It feels a little weird saying this about an insurance company, but I've never seen a company live up to the "family" name quite as well as American Family.

What I like is the focus on personal attention you get from them, it reminds of the insurance agents my parents had when I was young. They knew my family, they knew us kids and they made an investment in the relationship. During the time I've been with Matt I've been in a car wreck​ and bought life insurance (haven't used that one yet) and homeowners​ insurance. Each time there is a sincere connection and an attempt to build an actual relationship not just sell a policy. I like the way Matt and his team support the community as well with everything from a podcast to supporting non-profits and even down to providing information for parents and their kids about nontraditional​ investing or what to think about when you start to drive. Tip: If you have an insurance question search for Matt on YouTube or Google your question and Matt Dietz, he probably has a video answering your question so you don't even need to call in! We obtained home owner's insurance with Stacy Butler at the Inszone Boise office. A week after…read moreclosing escrow, we were notified that our insurance would be canceled effective the end of August. We reached out to Ms. Butler on July 30 to see if that was accurate with zero response. It was not until multiple phone calls and emails that she responded on 8/4. We requested our $3,450 refund check on 8/1. We have reached out on numerous occasions and still as of today, 9/8 have not received the refund check. I confirmed the insurance carrier sent the check to her on 8/7 and predicted it would get to her on 8/8. She has been dismissive, unhelpful, unsympathetic and unprofessional throughout. Wondering if I owed $3450 to Inszone they would be willing to wait 6 weeks for payment? This complaint will now be elevated.
