Place needs some work. Over all facility and to the beds. My father was here for a month. He needed a lot of physical therapy to be able to be on his own again. His clothes would get lost. Diapers weren't changed he would have to call me so I could call the front desk to have someone go and clean him, he said he would be waiting for over an hour. The beds had no rails, he tried to get up and fell. Only time this place called me. Communication with family members doctors or anyone didn't exist He has since passed but thought I would write a review to let everyone know what this place is really like since he's been on my mind. If I knew what this place was like I would not have allowed him to be sent there.

Also, thank you to the activities staff for including him and making sure he stayed social with other patients. Thank you!

My father stayed at this facility for approximately one month, and during that time it became clear that the staff lacked sufficient training and experience in managing patients with dementia-related behaviors, particularly sundown syndrome. On one occasion, I received a phone call at 1:00 a.m. asking me to come to the facility because my father was awake, talking, and bothering the nursing staff. About two weeks later, I received another call at 5:00 a.m. with the same request. During that call, I was told that if I did not come in, they would transfer my father to another facility. As a family member, I understand that caring for dementia patients can be challenging, but these behaviors are common symptoms of the disease and should be expected in a facility that accepts patients with dementia and Alzheimer's. It was concerning to feel pressured to come in during the middle of the night because the staff could not adequately manage his condition. My disappointment continued after my father's discharge. The discharge coordinator, Ms. Wang, informed us that she would submit the paperwork to begin the IHSS (In-Home Supportive Services) application process on our behalf and told us we should receive documentation within one to one-and-a-half weeks. After 1.5 weeks passed without receiving anything, I contacted her and was told she would look into it. When another 1.5 weeks went by with no update, I personally visited the IHSS office to check on the status of my father's application. To my shock, I was informed that no application had ever been started. As a result, we lost three valuable weeks waiting for a process that had never been initiated. Had we been told the truth from the beginning, I could have submitted the application myself and avoided the delay. Families caring for elderly loved ones already have enough stress without being given inaccurate information that affects important support services. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. The facility demonstrated a lack of preparedness for dementia patients and failed to follow through on important discharge-related responsibilities. I hope management takes steps to improve staff training and communication so that other families do not experience similar issues.

Nurse "forgot" to give me doctor ordered pain medication after a major surgery. How can a nurse forget? It's in the computer! No water for 2 days. Had to buy my own water and have it delivered. I saw a male CNA trying to sexually assault a patient. A patient in same room as me fell out of her bed hitting her head on the floor. No one responded to a call light. No one helped. I had to call!! They ignored me at the reception desk. A called every 20 minutes until th paramedics came to take the patient to the hospital. The receptionist held my food at the desk that I had delivered since I wasn't fed. Another patient was moaning for 4 hours. No one responded to her call light. I had to order food from restaurants since the kitchen forgot to feed me. I lost 17 pounds due to starvation in a mere 10 days. It is very unhealthy when you are recovering from surgery to be starved. No one should be forgotten about. The social worker worked sole my commode. Both Illegal and despicable. I was told I could not leave facility. They tried o keep me against my will. Never send anyone here that you care about. Did you watch the film, 'One flew over the coo coos nest' ? This place is worse!!
