The entire place is very clean and has many new features. The entire process was painless and quick which is always a plus. We're only here another month and they got me in IMMEDIATELY for new patient X-rays and eval. I knew I needed some work done and have been able to make all 3 appointments before leaving. The staff are all incredible. They address you by first name when you walk in the door when I had been there only once before. Everyone I have come into contact with at the office has gone above and beyond to help out. I always have a million questions about what they are doing or using and they gladly explain everything to me. If you need work done, the front desk will give you the exact price of what to expect instead of the run around. They also do her best to get you the best price possible and is very knowledgeable about insurance and what tricare will cover. I even got a personal phone call from Dr. James himself a few hours after my last appointment to make sure my pain was under control. I honestly can't say enough good things about this office and I wish I had found them at the beginning of our Monterey move!

Sometimes, Doctor Do himself leads me back to the room. The whole office is calming. Second: The assistants are competent and knowledgeable. I get the feeling that with every task they perform, they know exactly what they are doing and they are kind and comforting. Third: Dr. Do has exactly the right touch. He is careful, considerate, and extremely skilled. He lays out every option if you need to make a decision. He does not impose his opinion, but guides you through all of any possible outcomes. I was so impressed when he wanted to do something with my teeth that the insurance wouldn't pay for-- he called me back in, convinced that he could make them change their minds with another set of XRays. He was right. He saved me a thousand dollars because he cared. His mannerism is gentle and compassionate. As you might tell, I can't recommend him highly enough. I actually like going to the dentist.

When he asked the front desk what was going on they made up some sort of story about an "emergency". He then let them know, well why didn't you call me to tell me to come later? Didn't really get an explanation as to why. The reaction tells me they never have people call them out on running behind. Finally my husband goes back, Brock asks how his day is, my husband responds with not great I've been made to wait. He wasn't belligerent or rude, but matter of fact. He said Brock and hygienist just sat there uncomfortably stunned, don't really say much. Mind you he's a new patient, so never mind having any customer service skills to want to make this a better experience for him. Next day we get a call from the office that Dr Brock doesn't feel comfortable treating either of us. I had nothing to do with the interaction between my husband and dentist, but I guess I must be punished too. I'm really glad they kicked us out of the practice. We went to another in-network dentist down the street (Brock was in-network for us too). Low and behold, the EXACT SAME WORK is significantly cheaper than what Brock was trying to charge us. This practice has crap ethics and clearly practices that the doctor can not be given constructive feedback. Go here if you want to wait and pay more!
