I came here in December 2019. The service at this establishment was quite unimpressive for me. The staff are all nice, especially the receptionist. The dentist (Dr. Nayuda) however seemed like he was in a hurry to clean my teeth and leave. I came in because three fillings in deep cavities fell out. He barely looked at my teeth and from the X-rays he told me that about 13 of my teeth would need to be worked on (which was my new dentist said was false). He created a treatment plan that prioritized minor fillings and a root canal on a tooth that my previous dentist had already worked on - rather than the three sources of pain I visited him for. Also, rather than going over my x-rays and a treatment plan with me he gave me a handheld mirror and pointed out the teeth he would work on. When I asked him to show me the cavities and problems with the x-ray he did so reluctantly saying that he had already done that with the mirror. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or if this is how he always is, but if I'm maxing our my insurance and paying about $8k in dental work for a year, the least I can do is get decent service. I eventually got a second opinion and found a dentist that I liked better. I wouldn't advice anyone to go there. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR GOD'S SAKE Imagine I am traveling in about a week and I called the office 3 weeks in advance to schedule my appointment to get my root canal done. On the day of my appt I got a call from the lady at the front desk saying that they won't be able to do my root canal today because apparently the lady that was supposed to help had an emergency. Bullshit, bro I have been tryin to get an appt for the longest and I had to wait now you cancelling my appt last minute? Also, I got my deep cleaning at this location, it seems like all the helpers that work there don't know what the hell they are doing. My first visit with the doctor himself was OK although he rushed it through just to be done with me. When I went for my second visit for my left side, the lady that provided service to me didn't know what she was doing. It was very disappointing. Short version: The dentist who can address issues like crowns is in only on Fridays. I think this place is fine for routine cleanings, but I opted to find another practice where the dentist has more availability (and hopefully is friendlier). Long version: I went in December 2023 as a new patient and was content with the new patient exam and cleaning, except that they did not address the loose crown I mentioned. The crown came off completely in early January. The first appointment I could get was for today, more than two weeks after the crown came off. Upon checking in today, the person at the front desk told me that (1) I had to get an entire new set of x-rays--even though I had x-rays as part of the new patient exam just last month--because I had new insurance effective 1/1/2024, and (2) I would have to pay for a new crown if the dentist decided not to re-cement the old crown. I asked if the dentist could tell me from looking at last month's x-rays and the crown whether or not he would re-cement the crown before starting any new work. After speaking with the dentist, I declined service. The dentist seemed knowledgeable but was less than friendly. And if I might have to start from scratch with the crown, I'd rather do so at a place where the dentist has greater availability. I went home and made an appt with another practice who said they couldn't book a full new patient appt for me until late February but they will address my crown next week as an emergency appt. read more

I havent been to the dentist for almost 10 years. My friends recommended me this place, so i went to check it out. After filling out some paper work, the nurse took some x rays of my mouth. Afterwards Dr. Nayudu explained to me the conditions of my teeth, what I had to get done. At first i expected the worst news because I havent been to the doctor for ages, but all I had to get done is a deep cleaning and some fillings. Dr Nayudu knows his craft, and i instantly felt less fear by getting the necessary procedures done by him. read more

My 82 year old Mother In Law is new to the area, and was experiencing a pretty serious dental emergency. I called and left a message late Sunday night hoping for an appointment on Monday. First thing Monday morning I received a call from front office . She was so sweet, professional, and understanding. She was able to accommodate my Mother In Law with an appointment later in the day. From the moment I walked in I knew we were in the right place. They took excellent care of my Mother In Law during the process prior to seeing Dr Nayudu. Dr. Nayudu was patient, kind, and very thorough. My Mother In Law required immediate extractions and bone graphs which he did right away. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST (Discriminatory practices and stereotypical behavior): On 8/31 I visited Montgomery dental for my son, upon arrival I was asked to provide an insurance card, which was fine but I had given the front desk my information via phone prior to arrival so I was a little confused as most dentist will have this information prepped prior to arrival- With that being said, I started to look in my phone for my job provided dental insurance card. I was advised by the front desk woman with the glasses " not to worry about it because she can look his information up in the state health care data base. I explained to her that she would not find my son because this insurance was from my job- I proceeded to then give her the name of the insurance provided. The front desk then reiterated that state health care has multiple names!!! (Really)- that I should take a seat and fill out my paper work. Mind you this was being done in front a waiting room full of people!!!!!!! She the walks over to her co- worker to ask for assistance with finding him because like I said HE IS NOT IN YOUR STATE DATA BASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The front desk woman with glasses then proceeded to quote out loud " Mom she has job dental insurance but I believe it is under the state" at that point I walked up to the front counter and was about to show my proof, then I thought about it and realized that this company did not deserve our business!!!!!!! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH STATE HEALTH CARE- BUT DO NOT ASSUME THAT IS WHAT I HAVE BASED OFF OF WHO I AM!!!! OR HOW I LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was bias and embarrassing- my son said he felt embarressed as well, but this was a good teaching tool for me to show him that if you dont respect me as a human you do not deserve my business.
