Please whatever you do DO NOT TAKE your precious , innocent animal who cannot speak for themselves…read moreto this BUTCHER! Three months ago we found two very tiny mammary tumors on my little Yorkie , my groomer at the Time " wheelin winstons mobile grooming " held my baby while I cried , petrified and desperate to save her ! She told me how incredible this Doctor Sullivan was !!! What a kind human being he was and how much he truly genuinely cared for the animals there ! And told me what an incredible surgeon he was ! I made the mistake of believing her. She even went so far as to say " his bed side manner is a little harsh but I promise you he is who you need to take your baby too ! " so we go ! Now we all know what red flags are right ? Well there were yellow ones from the beginning and more of a rude , arrogant staff at our first meeting ! The girl behind the desk must have been told she looks like a model one too many times " DeLainey?" I think her name is because this little girl will talk down to you ! Clearly lacks the basic respect for her elders and has an ego so large you have to push through it to get to the doctor! That was the first time I felt that maybe this wasn't the place , but when you love something as much as you love your animal you would do anything , say anything and lastly pay anything to save them , and these people know it ! They PREY! On it ! They are not medical professionals they are savages who lack empathy , compassion , general kindness and will all one day get what karma has for them. We do this 2,000 surgery and remove the tumors picking her up we ask " where are they antibiotics?" We were told she simply did not need one ! She was intubated and catheterized during this surgery anyone who knows the basics of simple medical conditions like urinary tract infections knows that anytime anyone ! Animal or human has had a catheter inserted the chances of getting a UTI after are pretty significant! This man refused antibiotics! I even called after and was told a second time she did not need them ! Even took her to her post surgery check up and she got a thumbs up from veterinary staff even after I mentioned her tummy being bloated , and her not jumping and sleeping a lot ! I was told " oh it's normal for dogs a little older. A few weeks ago Gia got up to pee and fell over , we thought stroke ? Seizure ? The scariest thing I have ever been through and my animal suffered ! Come to find out my dog did in fact contract a terrible bacteria through the catheter which took months to show symptoms! Gia was intubated and this is the only other possible way to contract this bacteria ( both were done ) and before surgery her teeth were checked the doctor told me how good they looked ! and when we pick her up they hand me a bag with her tooth In it and tell me it was hanging on by a thread ?????im sorry but they do check all of those things prior and being a home health nurse myself I know that if certain things are not as they should be prior to surgery sometimes they postpone surgery. This particular bacteria can only come from a catheter or a tooth, discospondilitys gets into their cervical vertebrate and spine and if not caught in time kills them! When I called frantic and in true emergency crisis thinking she was going to die in that moment ! You know what they said ? " I'm sorry doc sully is to busy today we can't see her until tomorrow!" Still I am calm and respectful to this girl on the phone and ask respectfully if maybe she could just have the doctor call me maybe he could tell me something to do ! Because in that situation you are in fight or flight the stress and fear are just unexplainable! This man refused to even call me ! After he operated on my animal ! This man killed my animal and we paid him to save her !!!!! And she suffered greatly ! Gia was all love she was fierce and bossy ! And she loved me , she was so may things to me and this man took her from me ! My house is empty and quiet and I wake up thinking I will hear her little feet ! Or when I get home she will be there so excited she tinkles a little ! But I won't ever get to hold her again ! She was innocent! She didn't deserve any of this ! Please please please believe everything I have said in this review ! There's more too!!! He put her on prescription food making me petrified thinking she had kidney issues!!! She had a full blood panel about a week ago before she passed and everything was in fantastic order ! Nothing wrong with her kidney or liver ! This man is not a human ! He is sick and I think he does these harmful things on purpose as a tactic to make more money !!!!! I beg you do not go there ! this all could have been prevented ! If they just would have given her proper after surgery care ! I hope he never touches anyone's animal ever again

This is common. we come from Medical background enough to have experienced to many times to count how a simple urinary Tracy infection occurs 85% of the time after a Surgery/Catheter. So after Surgery upon picking our Yorkie Gia up We asked Dr Bob to please send Gia home with an anti biotic and\ or a anti fungal for preventative measures, knowing that Catheters "can" introduce a bacteria or fungus to urinary tract.... A common problem with catheters. "Cornell Medical Journals Disease control Vetinary Doga can develop a urinary tract infection after surgery which can go undetected, which is what happened to our dog. We brought Gia in for her follow up and mentioned she seemed alittle bloated and pees a lot but they brought her back to us saying , she's fine! I should have insisted on going into the room with her thought it strange that she, " the nurse"' came out Took Gia and said she would bring her back to us. Odd. I don't believe the nurse even told the Doctor what we said about her bloat and urine. I don't believe the Doctor was even there and that's why we were not asked to come back! All makes sense now. Another dishonest Money hungry surgery Mill. Had She listened and conveyed what we said? and checked her urine? She would not be suffering now. This urinary infection DID exactly what Diskosponditis does / it travels very slowly to the blood and it sneaks its way into the vertebrae . Now the dogs carrying this Very hard to treat bacteria which is called Diskodponfitis which is heartbreaking to watch this innocent animal suffer. We cannot leave her side she is in excruciating pain . The Vet we took her to has her on a very potent Antibiotic used to treat this and Gabapentin for pain- her neck stiffens so badly we have to take shifts We called them . The one receptionist did not like how upset my Dsughter was over her dog who needed immediate care. The receptionist , started CRYING! Then the manager told us that the doctors busy. We asked for a return call from Dr Bob and no one called. Outrageous! Doctor Bob was Rude dismissive, arrogant the first time, Not one of them said omg sorry how can we help, instead the manager only wanted to know if we were filing a lawsuit! &2,500 surgery has now turned into $4,500 more added on to treat this. This takes six months to a year to clear up. Would You File a lawsuit? All I wanted was either for this Dr Bob to fix what he is responsible for causing or give us back the money we spent so we can pay these new bills. His take? He said the surgery was a clean surgery and she must have got this some where else. Impossible. Every test every symptom and the time frame all point to catheter / urinary infection/ to blood to Spine. These people are the Rudest cruelest , arrogant inhumane surgery mill people I have met in my life. I plan on putting these people and this Dr Bob all over social media , until he does the humane, responsible Right decent thing and give us this money we had never expected to be forced into instantly producing ! in order to keep our animal alive. I have a recording of the office manager speaking to us like were filth under her feet. It was unbelievable! Zero compassion and zero accountability, zero tact, no class, combative, insulting, sarcastic. Vets are imperfect people, and no one is exempt from human error. Had he recognized the Cause and effect of the Surgery he alone performed and, could have prevented, made a Conscious effort in repairing the damage from the part he played in the cause? I would have at best respected his transparency . I don't respect anyone who Sprints away and avoids, especially something they could have prevented. Cowardly and inhumane behavior . God Complex is an understatement . A very ignorant backward way of handling a crisis that did great harm to an innocent animal and that could have been avoided had he not refused to send Gia home with preventative antibiotics and anti fungal and had he Listened when we said she looked alittle bloated and was urinating a lot, instead the nurse blew it off saying that's from the Surgery it's normal. This time? It was not as simple as they thought. This is what happens to medical professionals they get bored and lazy . Then there is that one exception that makes them have to look at there grand error. Doctor Bob- You must take responsibility for your negligence. You can try and blame this elsewhere but nothing would fit. Just Own it. PS everyone - if you have a feeling about what you think is in the best interest of your animal and the Vet does not give this the benefit of the doubt? RUN! Find one that at least will be open to consider it. Shutting someone down with such force speaks volumes about that Doctor, really!

Wish I could give a million negative stars for this place…read more I'll start with saying the only good thing about this place, which was ONE of the staff members, don't know her name but she was very kind to my children and had a great personality and was very caring. Now I know most vets are rip offs and only out for the money but I'll share my experience on hopes of saving someone else from going here with there sick pet. I know this place didn't kill my dog, I took our dog Lucy there because she got sick very suddenly, they got us in quickly our dog was 13 years old and Dr. Fisher told us that the only hopes of our dog making it was to get a hysterectomy even Though she wasn't the best candidate for surgery she was willing to do it (obviously for the money) so of course we said we'd do it, we weren't thinking about money we where thinking about our dogs life. The staff wrote us up a quote which was some where around 1200. They told us we would have to put up half and pay the rest after, so we wrote a check for 602 or something like that. Then we left and they would call us and give us ann update after. A couple hours pass by and they call us to tell us our dog died before surgery, we tell them we will pick her up in the morning and bring her home to burry her. When we go to get the dog in the morning they bring her out to us, and tell us to wait for the refund, ask us if cash is okay, and refund us 16 dollars. 16 dollars out of 600$. They knew right off the bat the dog wasn't going to make they just wanted to get whatever they could outta us. We basically payed 600 dollars for someone to babysit our dog for an hour while it died. This place is sooo sad. Why even refund the 16 dollars. Why not just keep it all. It's sad that of all places a vet could do this to people. I'm sure the dog died minutes after we left but they say a bunch of crap just to get the money. I feel horrible for leaving our dog at this place to die on a cold table.

I'm going to start this review with my most recent experience, as it is the most insane to me…read more I took my dog into the office to get checked out because she was itching like crazy. She is 11 years old, so they said that she probably had allergies and put her on medication for allergies, as well as some medicine for her ears seeing as they were infected. We gave her the medications, and nothing improved. I started doing some googling because my entire family began to itch not long after my dog. The top result was scabies (mange), so the next time we brought her in I asked Dr. Chelsea if it could possibly be scabies. She responded with "No! I bet it's fleas" or something along those lines. My dog at this point was almost completely bald, her ear was crusted over, and the top of her head was beginning to crust as well. My dog was wearing a seresto collar and she said the fleas will "bite her and die" but they were "probably" living on my cats. We left and immediately scheduled an appointment at Creekside Animal Hospital and my dog was diagnosed with scabies in less than 5 minutes. My dog had a severe skin infection as well as the mange, so they put her on antibiotics and her fur has already started growing back. We ended up paying over $1000 for absolutely nothing. They did routine bloodwork for absolutely no reason, and the receptionist is incredibly rude. We walked in one day and she asked "Do you have money?" Not to mention all the snide comments and things she says. We took my other dog there to be cremated and they made us stuff her into trash bags (she was 80 pounds) and carry her into the office ourselves. Very inconsiderate. Creekside Animal Hospital is a lovely place with excellent staff, and fair pricing. It does not cost nearly $200 JUST to walk in like it does here. If I could give this place a 0 star review, I would. It is absolutely egregious how much they charge for how little they do or know.

Dr. Gross herself called us (not a staff member), took her time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and never once made us feel rushed. She even sat on the floor with Copper and showed him such gentle care--it was the most compassionate veterinary experience I've had in over 30 years of dog ownership. The team was also very mindful of expenses, kept in close contact with us throughout the process, and even reached out to our out-of-state vet to get Copper's background information. They went above and beyond in every way. I truly cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Their genuine care and dedication made a stressful time so much easier, and I am beyond grateful. Prior to the morning appointment, I requested a muzzle because my dog was snappy, he snapped at me in the morning, I wanted to make sure the staff would be safe while examining him. They were aware that he snapped at me, since I was adamant about getting a muzzle. When we came for the euthanasia, with my two sons and husband, they went through their checklist. I again shared he snapped at me, then all of a sudden they demanded he is tested for rabies. For those of you who don't know how animals are tested for rabies, they must examine the brain. When asked how much does he weigh, I responded 80 lbs, they coldly said in front of my boys 'we have to take his head off and send it'. WHAT!? Are you kidding me?! And the worse part? I had to pay for it. I opted for us to bring his body home for home burial, but now I have to choose to have his body returned decapitated or pay for cremation. All for a snap that didn't break skin. The only time I was spoken to with tenderness or compassion is when they asked for payment. I am so saddened, angry, and appalled that despite me sharing the entire day that we needed a muzzle to ensure safety of staff because he had snapped at me, when it came to the very last minute and I was deep in grief I was blindsided by this.
