    Fettuccine Alfredo with salmon

The service was sooo slow. We almost got up and left because it took around 15-20 minutes for someone to come to the table and take drink orders. It was also a hassle trying to flag someone down to get a refill. Likewise, the food took a very long time to come out. It would have been nice to have complimentary bread or something, considering the long wait. The Alfredo sauce tasted like creamy pasta water with a hint of parsley. Pretty disappointing for a menu that leans Italian and mentions homemade pasta. The noodles did taste like they may have been homemade. Nonetheless, the sauce needs a redo. The salmon was cooked very well, but again the taste left something to be desired. It just had a faint herb and olive oil taste. This would have been fine if the Alfredo was flavored correctly. Since it wasn't, the dish was overall too bland. The pasta dish itself was actually pretty light. The photo looks like more than it really is, so adding some kind of protein is a good idea. My counterpart enjoyed the cheesesteak. The fries were also good. The restaurant is in a nice location and has ample outdoor seating to hear the live music. If they tweak the recipes a little and improve their service, I think it has potential.

We met afterwards inside for snacks. And the customer service was just as great. Thank you all

What a wonderful place to hold an event!!!! Honestly it could not have gone better. Everybody that works there was giving more than 100%. Thank you for helping us plan and execute a really fun night.

I did a Cobb salad simply because it was the end of a travel day. Salad didn't disappoint. Staff was patient and the restaurant was clean. Nothing spectacular and nothing disappointing. It was an average visit that could be a restaurant choice when in a bind.

Great place to go for good food and drinks. Went to Monza for a birthday celebration and had a great time. Peter was our server and he's the absolute best. Service was great. Outside seating was nice since it was a nice evening.

Charcuterie & Cheese Platter Alexander was a very polite and friendly person. We would be back because of him

A wonderful place for a special event with excellent food and service…read more We recently held our daughter's baby shower at Taste of Old Country in Manassas and could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The restaurant is very nice inside and also sells a variety of olive oils and other specialty items. We actually used some of their olive oil packages as prizes for the games during the shower, which worked out perfectly. Elias and Zachery were wonderful from before the event began while we were setting up, throughout the entire shower, and even afterward while we were cleaning up. They obviously knew how to handle an event like this and seemed to know exactly what needed to happen as our guests began arriving and the shower progressed. We had two long tables set up for our group, one seating 14 and the other 12 people. I thought the tables and place settings looked wonderful, and they allowed us to add our own table runners, pumpkin-themed centerpieces, and decorations along both sides of the room. When it was time to eat, the food was set out buffet-style along the bar near the back. The menu was Mediterranean based and included spanakopita, cheese pies (not pizzas), artisan sandwiches, meatballs, stuffed grape leaves, and other items. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there was certainly no shortage of food. We had enough for everyone at the shower, enough left for dinner for eight of us afterward, and still had leftovers for two families to take home. The staff did a great job throughout the event without making us feel rushed, and the entire experience was comfortable and relaxing. Considering the beautiful venue, excellent service, quality and amount of food, and how smoothly everything went, I thought the price was an excellent value. Overall, Taste of Old Country helped make our daughter's baby shower a wonderful event and one we will remember for a long time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a place in the Manassas area for a shower, family gathering, or other special event. Definitely a five-star experience. Enjoy!

It was moderately busy and there seemed to be a single waiter which was not a problem as the space is small. He was very polite and attentive explaining the menu and what items may take longer in case we were in a hurry. The food was fantastic. We didn't have anything that we wouldn't order again or didn't enjoy. The Margarita pizza was the highlight for us but the mini spanakopitas were a close second. Portions are a healthy size too. We loved it here and can't wait to come back.

First time visiting this place which was located in a strip mall with other businesses such as El Mirado, Arturo's Kitchen and Cafe Rio. As you walked in, plenty of seatings, some decor and it was clean. There 5 items ordered: 1) Samosa 2) Manto 3) Hummus 4) Chicken Pide 5) Lamb Kabob Wrap. When the hummus arrived to the table it also came with a basket with large strip of naan. The naan was lightly crispy on the outer edges, airy in the middle ànd with a dab of hummus on top. It was very delicious. The samosas came with three and the homemade green sauce. The samosas were tasty but by adding that green sauce really enhanced the flavors. I ordered a small manto which is their version of dumplings filled with beef which taste like lamb; onions topped with yogurt and fresh herbs. They were soft in texture and with the combination it was delicious. I stack the naan with the hummus and manto .. I tell ya bala bing. It was dang gone good. Now came the chicken pide which is an oval shape pizza that arrive to the table and it look gorgeous. The outer crust looks so pillowly and airy as the filling looks scrumptious. When I took that first bite, my taste buds were dancing with salivating joy. It was incredibly satisfying and once I added some green sauce, it elevated it even more. The wrap was delicious too. Our server Rina was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely make another visit whenever I'm in the area again.

The staff are so friendly and the place is clean. It is a welcoming atmosphere, and we love bringing the kids in. They love the pizza, salmon, and meatballs. I really enjoyed my ground beef kabobs (Shami), the Manto, Samosa, and Gyros. Above all else, their bread is soooo good from their Naan to the garlic bread served with the Italian dishes. They make fresh dough in house and it makes a difference! It's great to have a solid Mediterranean and Afghan restaurant in Manassas! It's not a chain and is something unique. Come check it out when you're in the area!!
