Wish we could love this place . Was super excited for a burger joint to open in our neighborhood.. came here with a party of 8 . .. the food was mid par at best . Burgers really lacked any flavor. We all ordered the signature menu items . The fries menu were okay . Pretzels were good . Service was extremely slow . But our waitress was attentive. Really really wish it was a to go burger joint . The bathrooms are in back . Single stall . Definitely doesn't meet the occupancy criteria. read more

Much improved burger! We came about 2 weeks ago and like others have said, the burger was small and thin. Gave them another try this week and the burger was much bigger & juicier. I ordered it "Medium Rare Plus" and it was perfect. It should come with fries for the price, but all in all, I was impressed that they are listening & reading Yelp feedback and upping their game. There was unfortunately an issue that delayed our order for a long time, however the staff and management (Bost) made it right and were very forthcoming and helpful. We have tried this place twice and disappointed both times. The first time we went I received my well done burger before my beer was delivered. I ordered them both at the same time. The second visit after much turmoil, we walked in on a Saturday afternoon and almost every table was empty and dirty. No one was bussing the tables...strike 1. We decided to dine outside since the inside was nasty and we sat for several minutes and no one came by to get our drink or food order Strike 2. We ended up leaving and writing it off for good. I ate here just recently and was very disappointed in my experience. I ordered Rosemary Truffle Fries and Sea Salt and also Parmesan Garlic and Olive Oil. These were very bad, boxed and didn't bring it home. and they were just no good. $9 for a full tray and i did not touch one. Back Yard classic was MID!! Also layout and bathrooms are not good at all. Husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Steady crowd but nothing crazy. Asked to sit on patio and sat without being greeted for 15 minutes, while other patio guests were being served. Granted we were on the side patio, so seems like we were forgotten. Made eye with a few servers but continued to not be served. We left and told hostess that we weren't served. Went to Grace O'Malley's down the street and had excellent experience. Visited Moo & Brew in Matthews, NC, with a group this weekend for burgers and beers. Burgers and Bison burgers are juicy and delicious the way a REAL burger should be! Just like when you handmake them at home. One person ordered the "Moo Melt" which is a smashed beef burger, brew braised mushrooms, Swiss cheese, grilled onions and aioli on grilled sourdough bread...Basically a smashed burger on grilled toast...five star! Loved loved loved the Wild Alaskan Salmon burger. It's a handmade patty loaded with real wild salmon, lettuce, tomato and lemon dill yogurt on a bun...not the pre-formed salmon burgers you usually get at a brew pub. Seasonings are perfect. Our favorite appetizers were the Cheese Curds and Jalapeno Bacon Firecrackers. Such a refreshing menu! Affordable prices! Service was soo attentive! Shout out to Hope our server! We visited the new Moo & Brew in Matthews for the first time today. We tried Friday night but the wait was enormous!! Let me tell you though they did not disappoint!!' The food was amazing, amazing service, and relaxing atmosphere. We had a minor issue with our order but it was resolved quickly and professionally. Our waitress Hope was outstanding.
