We recently celebrated a birthday here...the service was excellent! The food was delicious and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance with the water view was really nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll certainly go back! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The room was a little cold but thankfully we had jackets![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautifully decorated restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had a girls brunch here for one of my friends bday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had an 11a reservation and place was empty when we arrived but still had to wait abt 15min for our table to be ready. Not sure what that was abt. All of us enjoyed our food, I got the burger and it was delish. Also got the lemon drop mocktail which was very fruity and refreshing. I'd definitely go back and try some other items. Also our waitress was amazing with an even more amazing singing voice. Didn't expect those type of vocals to our friend for her bday but it was a welcomed surprise!

Wonderful first experience at Link and Pin for my dad's birthday! So many menu options it was hard to choose. Wine and drink menu is on an iPad which is very convenient. Glass of red was spectacular and nicely priced. Staff was amazing from start to finish even giving my dad a card for his birthday. Food was spectacular! Appetizers were tasty and the meal portions were HUGE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were in the glass window room overlooking the fountain outside and it was amazing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Want to experience their great outdoor space during warmer months.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back!!!

Late last night we visited Link & Pin about an hour before closing and sat at the bar. The late night atmosphere still has a relaxed, upscale feel. Casually sophisticated. Our server at the bar, Logan, gets a standing ovation for making PERFECT drinks when we didn't even order from the drink menu. The standing ovation is also for giving fantastic food and drink suggestions and delivering five-star service from start to finish. As many times as I've dined here, it's odd that I've never visited after brunch hours until now. The portions were larger than I expected and the food was excellent. We'll be back.

I had heard wonderful things about Link and Pin from Yelp and social media so we decided to check it out for lunch on New Year's Day. I called ahead and was told that reservations were highly recommended but when we arrived the restaurant was empty. The staff was helpful but not very friendly including the hostess and waitress. We got a table in the corner of the dining room overlooking the lake. There was a brunch menu available but as soon as I saw the reviews and pictures of the Lobster Roll on Yelp, I knew that I HAD TO HAVE IT. Seriously, look at the pictures of the giant claws of lobster on Yelp. It was a VERY expensive sandwich and something I don't usually splurge on but it was delicious! The truffle fries on the side were a special treat. My dining partner ordered from the brunch menu and her waffles with blueberries looked delicious. It's a beautiful location and more upscale than I expected it to be. I believe they actually have a dress code (which I did not meet) but are probably more relaxed on that policy for lunch. It's definitely a great restaurant located in The Arboretum but be prepared to spend more money than average. It will be a while before I go back because of the prices.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

The staff was amazing and I was astounded by their dedication to their craft. The best part was the food. We started with the chefs board which had an array of cheeses and spreads. The most memorable was the whipped feta. OMG. The Ambiance was the only thing I feel could use some tuning as there's not enough sound deadening to make the music out? It sounds like a heart beat and makes it hard to make out conversations. Major shout out to Leigh for taking care of us all night and making it a memorable night. We did make reservations for a Monday night, though it wasn't busy at all, so you could probably swing by on a whim should you want to during the week. The place was a bit elusive to find, as you have to look for the '3 dot sign' with a staff member guarding the door, which I'm sure is the intent! Once you enter, you walk down a long, candlelit hall, which sets the speakeasy mood right away. Upon entering, the classic speakeasy vibe hits you! Dim lighting, leather chairs, a beautiful bar stocked to the brim with whiskey, bourbon, scotch, and all the other good things you would expect to find in a place that prides itself on great cocktails. It certainly set the mood and got us ready to have an experience. The mixologists were welcoming and informative. I enjoyed my first drink, which was suggested based on my personal preferences in taste. It was a spin off a classic, and I really enjoyed it. Sort of like a cross of a penicillin and a whiskey sour. [The Never Ending Story]. My friend had the clarified punch since we had similar things we've loved in the past. It was slightly sweet, smooth, and easy to sip. We decided to just get some classics since the cocktail menu felt more like just off shots of other classics we love. They were both excluded well! But the thing that really blew us away was the food! I was really pleased with this portion of our evening! We had the crispy Brussels sprouts, and they were the best BSs I've ever had! I thought we'd take some home, but that did not happen! My friend got the Mushroom Casarecce. It was creamy and delicious! The beef carpaccio was also really nice. Service was excellent on our visit and prices were very reasonable for a meal of this caliber. Gave this place a chance tonight and it was amazing! Food was amazing. Staff was AMAZING! Atmosphere was on point. Made me feel right at home again (im from Louisiana). Overall a 10/10 experience. UNTIL.... To my surprise, Nima (I believe to be the owners son, I asked staff so I could write this review) anyways, NIMA thought it would be appropriate to cuss out our AMAZING server, Sophie, in front of the entire restaurant. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this Nima character is. One thing I won't tolerate is an unprofessional bully of a "boss", and I also won't tolerate a MAN feeling so comfortable to yell and cuss at his FEMALE staff worker. Sophie kept her composure but was almost in tears. From the moment we sat down Sophie was nothing short of amazing towards us in every aspect. Gave us great recommendations for food, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We had to close out early with her due to Nima forcing her to go home in the middle of her shift, leaving John to take over service for us and John was nothing short of amazing towards us also. All of this to say, I truly loved it in here, but next time when I come back if Sophie isnt here anymore due to this Nima chump, I don't know if I can support a business that treats their employees this way in front of guests. I hope the owner sees this and puts his so called son in check because no professional business owner would treat anyone this way especially In front of guests. I will not support any man that feels comfortable raising his voice at a female employee period.

I stopped in here on a Friday afternoon to grab a quick bite. Upon entrance, I really liked the paintings and other decorations spread throughout the dining room. The menu seemed to have plenty of seafood but I figured I'd opt for their special, a Blackened Red Snapper with Bacon Jalapeño Cream Sauce. It came with two sides so I decided to try out their okra and collard greens, after a recommendation from my waiter. I typically don't order collard greens but he said they have pork and are delicious. The place wasn't too busy so food came out quickly, about 10 minutes after I ordered. The food looked decent upon first glance, but I wasn't sold just yet. After my first bite of fish, I was taken aback by the delicious flavor of their cream sauce paired with the blackened fish. It was a solid portion of fish and tasted of good quality, so it didn't stand much a chance. The sides were also just as delicious. It's hard to mess up fried okra so my expectations were met to a tee. The collard greens were actually so incredible as well. I don't really know what they're made of but I definitely will be trying it more in the future, if other places prepare it as good. They also had a house hot sauce with was more flavor than heat, but paired wonderfully with everything. The whole meal was so good so I understand why they seem to a have solid amount of regulars at this place. The staff were very kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. If you want a taste of Louisiana, this place is a solid option in Charlotte.
