    the interior of a restaurant

I ordered take out from here. I was looking for a patty melt and tried theirs, it was just OK. The burger was OK but the sourdough bread was too small. The onions were undercooked and it turned out to be dry. Unfortunately they don't add the thousand island dressing. I'm sure their other options are worth considering but pass on the patty melt.

    Cheers!!

A quaint space to have a beer or a nice drink to end a long hard day. The parking is tough but there are additional parking spaces in the back. Music keeps it happy and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Traffic is constant but the area is inviting.

Pimento grilled cheese and waffle fries

Convenient place for lunch and fast go-to orders for take out lunches! I arrived to the restaurant and the parking lot out front was full, but thankfully there were signs for more parking in a lot behind the restaurant. They have a back entrance, but I didn't see it when I parked. Once inside, I walked up to the counter and placed a to-go order at the bar right away. I only waited for 10 minutes before my food was ready I ordered a Pimento cheese grilled cheese with sweet potato fries for myself and an avocado BLT with sweet potato fries for a co-worker. The pimento grilled cheese was made with white cheddar and was very tasty and the sweet potato fries were thick cut and crispy! Overall, it was very homey and local feeling inside with pictures and memorabilia on the walls. The staff were friendly and the food was decently priced. I would recommend this for a quick lunch spot!

Good food and nice staff. The grilled pimento cheese with bacon was really good. Added jalapeños for a little spice. Side of onion rings with some sort of "special" sauce. Good meal all around.

I have always enjoyed everything that I've order from here-except the shrimp. It's just not a shrimp place. I had it on my salad once. Everything else for lunch is excellent. I've never been for dinner!! The service is great and very quick. I usually come on my lunch break and even when dining in, I get out with plenty of time. I recommend the sandwiches and wraps. Also the soups are very good. My friend really enjoyed her quesadilla. I will try the nachos next time!

This quintessential little spot in Myers Park has clearly been a staple for many years. There's photos of regulars on the wall, and you can tell it's a family friendly spot, especially after church on a Sunday. My husband and I ventured in for lunch and entered through the back door (parking here is interesting - but there is plenty). We had to weave our way through the restaurant, but there really wasn't a hostess stand, so that was a challenge. We were seated promptly, but service seemed slow throughout the meal - like they might have been short a server. My husband ordered wings and I ordered the Ruben. We also got a side salad and tots. The food was good, but nothing great or stand out. The salad was lettuce with a giant chunk of cucumber and weird pita crumbs (like the bottom of the bag was dumped in). The wings were flavorful, but they stayed in the fryer a little too long, and they didn't have a ton of meat on them. The meal and service were fine, but honeslty, I wasn't blown away by it. It won't steer us away if we are in the neighborhood, but maybe try some different menu items next time we are around.

Bussin' I don't know what's in this raw dogging picabu sauce but alright picabu, I see you. Also I don't know who Billy is but his club sandwich is supreme

We had the best lunch today at Providence Road Sundries! All of the tables were socially distanced, everything was clean and all employees were wearing their masks, really making us feel comfortable to dine in. Our waitress was so helpful in making suggestions and customizing menu items to our tastes. I got the Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich and it was seriously amazing if you love avocado! Crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, tomato & lettuce with a delicious Picabo Sauce. I didn't know what Picabo sauce was before ordering and it really pulled the whole sandwich together. We also got Billy's Club Sandwich with tater tots, it was huge and an all around beautiful sandwich. If you love ranch, definitely get a side salad, sweet potato fries or tots to dip to your hearts content. YUM!

This local haunt has fronted the busy road since 1933.

Our table of four rolled up right before closing (15 min late to our reservation) and we were able to be seated with a gentle reminder that the kitchen would be closing soon (totally understandable). We were taken care of swiftly and didn't feel rushed at all (we tried to be considerate. We were one of two or three tables at this point of the night). I've had takeout from here before and liked it (one of the Thai dishes). My veggie sushi roll when I dined was perfect. Service was perfect. The only thing I wished for was a few more vegan options on the menu as I expect a little more variety at an Asian fusion restaurant. Cute front patio set up too, when al fresco dining is on the brain.

We went across the street and they didn't allow dogs on the patio so a quick Yelp search led us to Jack Beagles. With a dog in the name, I figured it would be dog friendly and I was right... it's event dog friendly inside which was great since we had the baby and it was hot out. They were happy to seat us in the dining room and since breakfast was about to end and lunch was about to start, we had the option of both. Some ordered breakfast and a few of us order the tenders because our server said it was one of the most popular items. I don't normally go for tenders at a new place, but they had garlic parm which drew me in. They were pretty great and served with waffle fries. My buddy got this massive burger that I was eyeing as well and I had a little bit of food envy when it came out. It was called The Big Bear and was sporting 2 Patties, 2 X Bacon, 2 x White American Cheese, Pickled Jalapeno, and Chipotle Aioli. I would definitely try that next time. Only odd thing was that when the burger came out, my buddy asked for a knife other than a butter knife to cut it since it was so big. Instead of offering to bring it to the kitchen to cut it, she came out from the back to say they don't have any steak knives and the only sharp ones are with the cook. No big deal, but a little odd. Anyway, we had a great lunch before hitting the road that accommodated all of our needs.

Our visit happened to be during Charlotte Hot Chicken Week so of course we had to try their special! For only $8 you could get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was really good! I loved how they choose to serve waffle fries over regular fries. There is just so much texture and flavor going on there. They have a big menu of mac and cheese dishes that sound super interesting so maybe we'll try that next!

We started with the deviled eggs, which were not too creamy and very well spiced. We then ordered cranberry mimosas, a chicken and waffle, an a veggie omelet. The cranberry mimosas were so fun because we got to make them ourselves! The chicken and waffle was ok- I requested gravy on the side but it certainly needed the sauce. The waffle was a little dry and the chicken was average. The veggie omelet was excellent and I enjoyed the fillings. I'm not a potato fan, but my friend enjoyed the potatoes. The biscuit was standard too but complemented the veggie omelet well. I'd say the star of the show were the fried French toast sticks- they were hot, sweet, and hit the spot perfectly.
