Always a great time coming. The new location is spacious and vibrant. The food is always stellar. The truffle fries were divine. Service can sometimes get a bit slow once the amount of guests in the restaurant increase. But overall friendly and welcoming.

My wife was meeting a friend downtown and asked if I wanted to join them at Moo Creamery. Who could pass that up? They've really done a nice job remodeling the inside. They have a back patio that is very comfortable. The service is great and friendly. We got flour, tortilla chips and dip. They were homemade and yummy. A sandwich was quite filling and delicious. People have told me for months that this was a good place for lunch. Now, I believe them. If you're downtown, give Moo Creamery a try.

Food was good! I had their brisket salad, brisket was so yummy, overall salad was okay! The atmosphere was mellow and the servers had on shirts with saying on the back that was cute! My mom had the mushroom burger, she said it was good. My husband had the bacon fried rice with pulled pork and he said it was good. We had a vanilla shake to share and their vanilla was so yummy!

This meal was pretty good, especially for Bakersfield. For the salad, I was put off by the large squares of cheese and would've preferred it to be chopped or shredded - it looks like they just rip up a Kraft square and throw it in there. Also wish it came with more chicken but the sauce was good. The fries were too heavy for me, VERY garlicky but I know some people like that. The desserts were the best part and they had so many more options I wanted to try. The carrot cake frosting wasn't too sweet and the cake was moist and spongy. The strawberry ice cream was really fresh, honestly tasted like a creamier sorbet more than ice cream. Our waitress was very friendly and overall thought the interior was cute. They have a lot of seating but it does get really busy for lunch time - I would come early, especially on weekends

Amy was a great waiter and definitely recommend the best sandwich to me . I had the " HIPPY " sandwich. It was so delicious and had so much flavor . I was very impressed with there garlic fries too , I was genuinely surprised with the flavorful dressings and dips that I had on the side... made the experience even better. Definitely hooked on all this place had to offer , from the cool bar lounge, the decorative style, the sweet treats and ice cream. I am going to be here 2 times a month for sure .

Stopped by for lunch and tried their happy hour menu which starts as early as 4pm. I tried their speciality sliders, $7 each and ordered two with sweet fries. The food was more than enough. The fries are incredible. The thick-cut sweet potato fries taste fresh and delicious. The garlic fries are crispy and full of flavor. The dipping sauces are great too, marshmallow cinnamon on the sweet potatoes. The sliders were juicy and flavorful. Would have loved to try the bakery/desserts but I was too full. Bar served deliciously drinks too. Got the sangria which was huge. The space itself is gorgeous, with a bakery, bar, restaurant, and outdoor seating all in one. The staff was super friendly and attentive and checked on us often. Would definitely come back.

We were able to get in to the new location and love it! The layout is very open. That can add to a high noise level if there are a lot of people, but that also adds to the fun of eating out. We were a group of about 8, we sat right in the middle of the place and ordered a variety of burgers, salads, milkshakes and drinks. Everything tasted amazing. Moo is definitely particular with their ingredients and you can taste it! The portions are generous and everyone will be able to choose something they like. You can't go wrong. The service was good. I found that service could be slow at the previous location. I'm hoping this layout can help with that. I love going downtown for a meal, so I'm glad Moo has worked to revive this corner.

This place is lovely inside and out. The decorations are so cute and the place has skylights so it's very bright and open. The waiter we had was attentive, knowledgeable, and fun! I had the harvest salad with salmon and it was perfectly cooked salmon. It comes with a lemon vinaigrette which didn't have much flavor so we requested the red wine vinaigrette and that did the trick. We also had drinks and they have a good variety! The sweet potato fries with their marshmallow dipping sauce was to die for!!! Def will come back!

This is my first time trying this place. My Wife and I came here for lunch due to our friends talking about it so much. Just an FYI this place is busy and we can see why. The food is absolutely amazing and the drinks are good as well. It's a nice open restaurant with plenty of places to sit, but it's about a 20 to 30 minute wait unless there is room at the bar where you seat yourself. The staff are very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. The whole menu looked amazing so it was hard what to choose from. Just give them a try, you will not be disappointed I promise. We will return again for other delicious dishes to try.

This isn't first time at the new location. It is nice that's its walking distance to the theater. Came on a Thursday and the place was packed but the crew was doing a great job getting everyone through as quickly as possible. From the time we were seated to, taking our drinks/food order and for everything to come out it was super quick which we appreciate. I got the Asian pulled pork burrito that was on the rotating menu. The flavor was good and you got some fried wonton chips on the side which I felt you needed for a crunch factor. The burrito was stuffed and full of flavor. I felt like you needed a thicker tortilla to hold it all in because it did at times fall apart. Edit to add came by another night shortly after with a big group and had some additional shares. Had the espresso martini and some chocolate cake. Espresso martini was delicious, the cake was a bit dry but the Swiss merengue and the Dulce de leche were excellent complements. I also got a pistachio icebox cookie that was delicious. We had a big group and made reservations, they were able to accommodate us on their big patio and our servers were amazing.

Tried the New Moo! The location is a bit further from me but this new location is so mich bigger and has such a beautiful bar and so much sunlight! The food is just as fantastic as ever and the staff are the nicest most personable people youd ever meet!

Truly one of my favorite spots in town! I could give you a whole list of recommendations! You have to try one of their burgers and of course some ice cream. The service is always top tier the staff always makes you feel welcome. I am also obsessed with the vibe of the place if the weather allows I definitely would sit out on their back patio it's unreal. 10/10 all around

Prepare yourselves, foodies and sandwich aficionados, because the Chicken Bacon Club from Moo Creamery is not messing around! This isn't just a sandwich; it's a culinary adventure! The chicken? Oh, it's so tender it practically winks at you. And the bacon? Forget bacon; this is *thick-cut joy* that'll make your tastebuds do a happy dance. The arugula and tomato are there, providing some much-needed greenery, like a tiny, edible jungle. This sandwich is so big, you might need a map to find your mouth after the first bite. Seriously, go get this sandwich. Your stomach will thank you. Chilaquiles: the breakfast that's got it all! Crispy chips doing the salsa in a spicy sauce, topped with a sunshine-y egg, freshly sliced avocado, and a creamy finish. It's a flavor party in every bite. Seriously, it's a food story with a happy ending! Get some! Service was a little slow but the consistency of food did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back again.

Last year I made a large reservation for about 10 ladies to celebrate someone and on the way to the restaurant they called to confirm the reservation (about 30 minutes before), but I did not hear my phone. When I arrived, a distraught friend told me that they did not have our reservation so I asked what the issue was. The manager told me because I did not confirm, they were not sure they were going to hold the table. I apologized that I had not recieved a call, but asked if we could still have the table (I was there on time and could see the large table with the reservation note on it). The manager begrungenly said they would allow us to still dine with them, but they said they would not seat us until more of our party arrived. I asked if we could wait for our party at the bar, but they said they would not because every seat at the bar was taken. So just a heads up, you cannot stand at the bar, you cannot stand around the restaurant, and they do not have a place to sit and wait for your table, you just have to stand outside (I'm sure it has to do with safety or firecodes, I didn't argue, we waited outside until people at the bar left). Once we were seated, the staff was not friendly. Wondering if we should leave or not, I called a friend who works near the building who frequents this place often on what I should do. He told me to go back inside and that the staff would be nice. When I returned, a new server came to our table with a tray of shots and said they would be taking care of us for the rest of the evening. I figured maybe the manager and that other server was just having a bad day, my friend must have called the restaurant and asked his most trusted server to help us, and enjoyed the rest of our evening. I didn't want to risk it another bad experience, so I haven't returned since. A few months ago during the whole Cesar Chavez news broke out, that friend who frequented the place went with another friend to the Botonist and was talking about the news while they were dining. The manager overheard. Later when my friends were getting ready to leave, the manager started becoming upset with my friends and told my guy friend, "I HOPE SOMEBODY R*PES YOU". Stunned, he asked her to repeat herself and she did. My friends left. The chefs and building are wonderful, but obviously something needs to be done about the management and staff with being professional and treating customers with respect. I've worked in the service industry and understand how stressful it can be, but I have always been able to keep my cool around people who are trying to enjoy a nice meal. Hoping they recieve the help they need as I love to see my community thrive.

Thank you, Weatherford BMW of Berkeley, for the near-death experience and, inadvertently, for one of the best nights out I've had in years. Stranded and waiting on repairs, we checked into The Padre, the only hotel in Bakersfield that feels like someone with a subscription to Dwell had a hand in it, and set out walking through a downtown that time has treated with more kindness than reputation suggests. There's a Woolworth's luncheonette still hanging on. There are old brick facades and wide sidewalks and the particular quiet of a Central Valley evening when the heat finally breaks. And then, on 18th Street, there is Tiki-Ko, and suddenly you are no longer in Bakersfield at all. You are, instead, inside someone's magnificent obsession. Tiki-Ko is a proper tiki bar -- not a tiki-themed cocktail lounge, not a place that bought some bamboo at a craft store and called it atmosphere, but a genuine, committed, floor-to-ceiling shrine to mid-century Polynesian fantasy. The carvings are real. The lighting is correct -- which is to say, barely there. The mugs are serious. There are pufferfish lamps and carved totems and the whole glorious taxonomy of tiki ephemera, accented here and there with a skate-culture edge that keeps it from feeling like a museum. It's reverent without being precious. The drinks are the real thing. Mai Tais built with actual orgeat. Zombies that earn the name. The bartenders make them with the kind of care and enthusiasm that tells you this isn't a gig -- it's a calling. They want you to be here. They want to talk about rum. They want you to try the Painkiller. In a city that most Angelenos regard as a punch line, somebody built a world-class cocktail bar and filled it with joy, and the regulars clearly know it. You will not plan a trip to Bakersfield. But if you find yourself there -- by mechanical failure, by accident, by the peculiar mercy of a bad brake job -- walk downtown. Find the tiki bar. Order a second round. Stay longer than you intended. Bakersfield has been underestimated, and Tiki-Ko is the proof.

Both sides of the menu are the same menu. There are some nice mocktail options as well- you don't see that often. The service for me is mixed- it wasn't busy- steady but not busy- 1/4 full. I ordered two drinks to start for our table- (no cocktail servers here/not unusual for a small Tiki bar) I asked for a soda water- the bartender looked at me without a word- popped open a can of soda water and walked away. When he walked back by, I asked for a glass of ice- he said nothing and I got an eye-roll huff. I almost left. I don't think providing a glass with ice to pour your canned room temp soda water in, is too wacky an idea to be perturbed by the request. The female who took the order was friendly, smiled and was professional. We got a third cocktail- the Mai Tai. The grumpy bartender was friendlier this time. So, that helped. Maybe he felt overwhelmed and I threw off his groove by asking for water- then a glass... either way- being annoyed wasn't cool. The music.... Wasn't Tiki- it threw off the "Tiki Vibe" and made it feel typical small local bar that serves only Tiki drinks with some Tiki decor. It didn't take you to the land of Tiki- disappointed. 4/5 Stars - Great Food, Amazing Service, and Fantastic Entertainment…read moreMy wife and I visited Valle - Flavors of Mexico for the first time, and overall, we had a very enjoyable evening. The live entertainment was amazing--slightly loud at times, but the band had great vocals and played exceptionally well, creating a fun atmosphere. We started with, chips and salsa which were absolutely different in a good way next we had the Ribeye Sliders. You get three of them, which is practically the cost of a meal by itself, and they were very tasty. A great way to start the dinner. The onions on these were good, but they weren't grilled to my liking. I was expecting caramelized onions, and they were more like pickled white onions. Because of that, I'd give the sliders 4/5 stars. For our entrées, we ordered the Enchiladas de Mole and the Enchiladas de Camarón. My wife had the mole, and I had the shrimp (cameron) enchiladas. Both dishes were very flavorful and delicious. The only issue we had was that the mole sauce and the green sauce on the enchiladas were chilled or not even warm to the touch. Because of that, both dishes receive 4/5 stars. For my drink, I ordered the Isla, which tasted like a very strong piña colada. It was incredibly well made and easily a 5/5 stars. The highlight of the evening, however, was our server, Stacia. She was absolutely wonderful. When we received the check, we kindly mentioned that the only issue we had all night was the temperature of the enchilada sauces. We didn't bring it up earlier because we weren't sure if that was how the dishes were intended to be served, and honestly, it wasn't a deal breaker. Stacia was genuinely concerned that we had an issue and seemed surprised that we hadn't mentioned it sooner. I explained that I usually only complain if the food is horrible or if we've had an overall bad experience. Because of her concern and kindness, we were offered us dessert. I explained that I didn't really want anything because the meal wasn't bad--just not what I expected. Nevertheless, we were presented with the Citrus Cheesecake, and it turned out to be a very good cheesecake just the right amount and an good ending to the night. Truthfully, because of the one issue with the sauces, I probably would have still given this place 4 stars, but I likely wouldn't have returned. However, because of Stacia's courtesy, professionalism, and genuine care, we will definitely be back for another experience, and I look forward to hopefully updating this review in the future, with Stacia as our Server.

I waited a good while to give this place a try to allow them to work out the kinks. We came on a…read moreFriday evening so there was a nice jazzy, mellow band playing. The service was great and so was the food. Everything we had was delicious from the salsa and chips to my pasta meal but the best thing I tried was the fish sliders. I will come back again and try a few different items since I couldn't order them all.

Had no idea this place has been open for four years, and I'd never tried it…read more Went on a Thursday night, we ended up being the only ones there. I understand weekends has live music. It's rustic and clean, it's very clean. There's a very large side room for events etc. the main bar area is small with some nice chairs to sit in and the large tv was set to a fireplace. The floors are covered in various beef/farm brands, adds to the rustic western vibe. Bartender was friendly and attentive. She kept busy cleaning and dusting bottles- like I said- it's clean. Drinks for a "speakeasy" were not special. Very typical bar drinks- no special menu etc. I visit a lot of speakeasy's- this is, speakeasy-ish. Our two drinks & a club soda were nearly $40. They were made well. Unfortunately, they didn't have the ingredients to make the drink I had asked for. Overall, I'd like to see this place on a weekend night with music. The drinks were over priced for what they were- IMO. That said, I'll likely return, at least once. Still bummed KC doesn't have a nice speakeasy.

Our favorite local spot with THE BEST ambiance. I have never had a bad experience here…read more Haley is a delight and is very knowledgeable as both a bartender and server. We love coming here just to see her. This is a great spot for a quiet date night. It can get pretty pricey, but half of what you pay for is the location and the service, which is second to none. This is a great spot to host a private party as well and does require a password to get in. A great way to ensure your party stays private!
