This shop came highly recommended by a friend, and although the price is right ($50 for a dip manicure), it was a painful experience. I've never had an electric sanding/drummed tool used ON MY CUTICLES. All 5 of my fingers on my left hand and 2 fingers on my right hand bled during the service and are still sore after the manicure. The nails turned out beautiful, but the pain of the cuticle issue is pretty bad. They don't look nice at all with the obvious cuticle bleeding and scabbing. I'm a little worried about infection, so applying hand sanitizer multiple times a day to counteract it, but it does sting. Unfortunately, I will not be back, I can't risk this happening again. I hope the salon reads the review and makes some changes as to how they care for cuticles in the future. This is not acceptable. read more

I recently visited my bestie in San Antonio & desperately needed to get a refill taken off so my nails could breath. After walking in at 6:30, we were greeted by a smiling and helpful staff who got all 5 of us seated and taken care of. [They close at 7 , sorry guys!] We were given mimosas and wine while we were attended to and we were able to enjoy ourselves and chit chat. The over all experience at this salon was a great one. Cute salon, clean as well. Decent gel polish selection. I was greeted immediately and seated soon after. My gel pedicure from Sophie was lovely. She was so gentle and very friendly. My daughters and I have come here many times and liked them until today. My daughter made two appointments for mani/pedis today at 5pm for herself and her sister and told them they wanted gel. Well it's 8pm and they are still here! I finally came back up to see what was talking so long and even said something to lady up front. She tried to tell me that's it because they wanted fake nails and that wasn't specified on the phone, but they have never asked that question before nor has it ever been an issue. And for the record, only one of them wanted fake nails and the other got just got glitter tips painted on the edge of her nails! My daughter told me that they just kept going from person to person and doing a little bit for each. God forbid you tell someone you're too booked. My daughters are the only ones left because they closed an hour ago! The intentionally let my daughters wait because they are young and wouldn't say anything! We won't be back here and everyone else in the area is crappy too so I guess it's time to stop spending money on nails! read more

I asked to do an ombré and their version of an ombré was an embarrassment. I am SO disappointed. Not only did the nail job look horrendous but they charged me for them being pointy even though I asked for almond shape and my friends who got almond were not charged an extra fee. So this was a $60 nail job and they were chipped and ugly. I'm actually on my way to Sally's to get nail polish to cover it because I'm embarrassed. Person who did my nails kept telling me it would look different when the gloss was on. Update: it didn't. I wanted to cry the entire time I was getting my nails done. read more

I went in for fills and a pedicure and was disappointed with both. While the massage with the pedicure was nice, the end result was disappointing. My toes look like whenever I paint them. They weren't shaped, very uneven, and the one who was working on me, I never got his name, gave me no notice before yanking out an ingrown toenail. I would have liked to prepare for that sudden pain. As for the fills, I was also very disappointed as they're so much thinner than where I had gotten them done previously. The nails, while the same length, are uneven and not straight and there are spots that weren't painted as well. Absolutely no cuticle care either, he just filed down, reshaped and painted. My paint is even chipping and it's only the day after I got them done! Very unsatisfied and a waste of $90 unfortunately. read more

Phillip was out of town, so I tried another person to do my nails. It was an older man with glasses(he never told me his name), well after this experience I don't think I'll be returning. I'm really disappointed because originally I was in love with this salon. The older man rushed taking off my color, and nicked my skin a few times. I was cringing as he was removing my color, it hurt. Then he was upset when I pointed out that my nails on my left hand were longer than the ones on my right. Then after he corrected it, he refused to smooth out my nails because he said he did it already (he didn't, the were rough on the edges when I got home. I tried my best to smooth them out at home) He rushed to paint the shellac on my nails and he was in a bad mood. Part of me was relieved when he was done because I felt unwelcomed and wanted to leave. I will not be returning. read more

Horrible place, Mike did my nails. One of my nails was really crooked and he got what seemed to be really offended when I asked him to fix it. He ended up fixing it, but before he put on my nail polish he asked me to pay. I didn't understand why, given that I was the only Hispanic woman in there and the rest of the women were white. None of the other women were asked to pay in advance. They were all in the nail dryer and paid after their service just like any other place. I felt embarrassed and humiliated. read more

I went in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure a few weeks ago. The guy was so insistent and obnoxious with his suggestions to try the upgraded powder dip instead, and I acquiesced. It looked like crap just a few days after getting it done because he didn't properly trim the cuticles. Two weeks later they're off and my natural nails are destroyed from the excessive filing. They're paper thin and I had to cut them all the way down. My pedicure chipped after a day and after leaving I realized she hadn't even filed the toenails to make them even and smooth. The place was very clean and the people were very friendly and quick to help me out. It might have been the person I got but my nails did not turn out as expected. My nails were shaped unevenly and all of them looked different. I ended up having to come back to get a few nails fixed because the tips were not correctly put on. When I got them fixed it was a sloppy job. I wish I had a better experience because what I got was not worth the price I paid. read more

Great place for a spa pedicure! Face palm that I didn't get the gentleman's name who did mine. Was seen quickly, offered a bottled water, sat & he adjusted the temp of the water to my liking. Had a Milk-and-Honey pedi. Was never in pain, and would always ask if things were to my satisfaction. Super nice people! No screaming kids running around on loud devices! The gentleman who gave me pedicure asked if I needed any other services I said I will come back another time to get my nails done since they are closing so soon. The first time I came to this salon I had a lovely experience. The 2nd time the man assisting me was unhygienic and rude to me. I received a manicure and pedicure and unfortunately I now have an ingrown toenail on both feet. I've never had one before and am not sure if it may have been the hygiene practices at the salon or if it was due to the nails being too shortly cut. If you get the owner he is great. I have short nails and use powder dip and he keeps them thin and there's no mess. If you get anyone else they complain. Make the powder too thick and you end up with whatever color you chose stained on your fingers. read more
