They have 7 nail stations and 8 pedicure chairs with massage. They usually have 4 nail technicians on duty. There are a ton of colors with a large amount available in regular & gel, and some in regular, gel & powder. They will have your tried & true "go-to" in stock as well as most trends. They usually offer complimentary beverages. If they don't, it was simply an oversight...just ask! There is a 5th guy there named John that seems to have his own thing going on. I've never seen him waiting around for customers. He seems to come in for, communicate with, and work on a set schedule of regular clients. If you are one of John's clients, maybe you could write a review detailing what that is all about. I'm usually a short, square, neutral gal, but the owner is happy to embellish me when I get a wild hair for design - think festival or holiday time. Since I'm customarily boring, I always tell her I'm planning design as early as possible so she can schedule appropriately & I don't F Up the remainder of her schedule. She can do aaalllll the things, but if you wait until go-time to request some outrageousness, she may not be able to work it in. They usually get walk ins seated within 5-20 minutes. If they can't get you in , they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. I have two primary reasons for sticking with a nail salon 1. Quality work. 2. Real people. I never understood people who don't communicate what they expect or say, "whatever you think is best" & then complain when a service isn't what they "expected." Every tech at Lotus has wanted to understand what I want and has worked their best to provide. Every one of them have been uber-nice & respectful to me if I decided on a mid-service change.....they were even nice about a post-service change once, but its probably because that is an extremely rare occurrence for me and I try to be nice & respectful in-kind. Luckily for me, Lotus Nail Spa was only the second place I tried and I couldn't be happier. The owner is absolutely delightful. I've been going here for over a year now and they always get the perfect shape. They all really pay attention to detail which I appreciate! They also listen well to what shape and color you want and give good color recommendations. Don't be afraid to say something if you don't like the shape or color because they will fix it or help you find a color that you do like. Also if you happen to break a nail soon after your appointment then you can come back and they will fix it for you for free which is nice. It's run by a family, and they are all so so friendly and get to know their regulars. They also just got some new colors and started a punch card which is nice if you go regularly. I've brought multiple friends here and it's our favorite nail place in town because they do such a good job. One of my friends said "he is practically painting the Mona Lisa on my toes with how careful he's paying attention". Seriously the attention to detail is much appreciated. I always get dip on natural nails, and it's never messy or too thick. Their tools are always clean. It's best to go first thing in the morning on the weekend or in the middle of the day on a weekday. It seems like the busiest times are weekends, and weekday late afternoon/early evenings. It's good to call ahead and make an appointment. read more

Andy did a beautiful job on my manicure for my wedding day! He also gives a great arm massage. I went with a beautiful pink gel color and he mentioned adding a chrome finish; it really made my nails complete. I don't typically get my nails done but when I do, I will come back to Lotus. The owner was very nice, she offered to fix or repair my nails if anything happens to them in the next 2 weeks. My pedicure was nice but the massage was a bit more intense than I could take, would be great for men with sore muscles. I'm moving to the area and was on the hunt for a nail shop to call home and I found it. I went in tonight for a dip mani and a pedicure. I was fortunate to have time with both women business owners. I spent 1.5 hours with them and they did an excellent job. The pedicure woman was able to rid my big toes of ingrown toenails and I felt instant relief. She also gave me a killer leg massage. I asked her to not do any polish because my toenails needed a break. She did a very nice job cleaning up my cuticles, trimming and buffing my nails. I haven't seen my bare toenails look that good ever. The manicure woman did a stellar job too. She cleaned up my cuticles and trimmed and shaped my nails exactly as I requested. She used 5 dips (2 clear + 3 color) because she saw that my thin nails need a little extra protection. And the hand massage was as good as the leg massage. If you're looking for a clean salon where they take pride in their work, then you must get out here and support this family operated business. It's owned and operated by 2 sisters and their husbands. Tracey, Amy and Andy are very nice and very accommodating. I went to another salon to get a mani and pedi before my trip. The guy who was doing the mani Pedi was rude from the get go, he was rushing me to pick a color, didn't want to speak at all. He rushed through the service and and I ended up picking colors I didn't like because he rushed me and I asked him about the colors and he said that he didn't know. I left the salon very upset and my husband picked me up and could see I was upset so we went to Lotus which happened to be around the corner from the other salon, to get what I originally wanted. Amy and Andy were able to squeeze me in, and Amy knew exactly what color I wanted. She also said that it looked like he didn't clean up my cuticles on my toes. Because I had the service at the other salon, I just needed to remove the colors I had on and put on the new colors which was exactly what I had wanted. I guess I was so upset because I don't normally get my toes and nails done so it was a special treat for me. My hubs went back to the other salon and told them how unhappy I was and the wanted to give me a credit to return and he told them she doesn't want to come here again. Going forward when I need their services even though it's out of the way from where I live, I will keep going to Lotus...they are wonderful! read more

I guess this is "meh" for me! I was out and about away from my usual nail place so decided to try this business for a pedicure. I will begin by saying it's s stunning place - clean, bright modern decor. I was immediately able to walk in and get a pedicure. The pedicure was fine overall but there were a couple of reasons I settled on a 3 rating. The first was the hard sell on a manicure which I absolutely did not want - several times I had to tell the lady doing the pedicure that I was simply not interested. It's just not fun constantly having to push back. The second thing that was weird was that immediately after the top coat was applied, I was thanked and sent on my way to pay with wet nails - nearly every other nail salon has a dryer to help set your polish and when I asked I was presented with a pair of those plastic flip flops - and it's not as though they were trying to get to another customer as no one else was in the salon. As I paid I noticed they had pedicure dryers at the front but instead I was stuck with trying my best not to smudge my pedicure as I hopped in the car and turning on the air full blast to act as a dryer!
