I was seen by Dr. Bromley, but the entire staff left an impression. I would recommend Moon Valley Eyecare to anyone. By far this is the most accurate my prescription has ever been. The amount of attention and time Dr. Bromley spent getting my prescription dialed in shows you he really has a heart for what he does. The front desk and staff who help you find your frames were wonderful too. The frames they helped me pick out fit great and are incredibly comfortable, as well as being stylish. My family won't be coming back here. Six months ago My wife purchased glasses. Recently the glasses have been falling off due to a poor fit, so we brought them in to be adjusted. They tried to adjust them but could not get them to fit any better. They said that the associate who origionally helped her should not have sold the frames to her as the lenses she was prescribed were too heavy and would bend and warp the metal frame over time. The glasses were still under warranty but they refused to replace the frames via the warranty process. I dont understand how they could admit they sold frames that were not compatible with the lenses and then refuse to fix the inevitable issues that would arrise. read more

Buying contacts has always been tricky for me because of my astigmatism, but Dr. Bromley was able to find the perfect fit on the first visit. Starting off I loved the uniqueness of the office - although they display Gucci Prada Hermes signs all over which I thought was interesting... I guess... I'll come back to that The doctor was great, super nice and asked good questions. His staff was okay, were they friendly? Kind of. I understand great customer service is a rare gem these days. App was fast and easy. At the end, they sat me down with one of the ladies who pulled out a calculator and started running numbers... am I at a dealership right now??? I was pretty appalled. I was expecting insurance to cover my contacts and appointment bc they never called me to tell me otherwise. The lack of communication was horrible! I had no other choice than to pay out of pocket and try to negotiate (they ended up taking $30 off after waiting even longer) also heads up, they charge $75 for the fitting lenses fee which they never disclosed. (The most I've ever paid for a fitting was $45) I wear the most basic contact brand and they were charging almost double what Sam's Club charges which I ended up going to them instead.. To make matters worse, my glasses were ready for days and they never called. And when I went to pick them up they couldn't find them and questioned if anyone told me they were ready - no they didn't, I had to call 3 times to check if they were. Overall I wanted to like this place bc of the doctor and proximity but they're very expensive and unfortunately I felt as if they were greedy, hence now it makes sense why there is designer brands all over the walls. read more

Selection of glasses is good. Has luxury brands which is nice. The eye doctor is friendly as well. Now for the staff that helps pick glasses, I would say most of them are kid friendly. One of them makes it very obvious she does not like kids by her attitude and tone of voice. So if you're an adult, it's a good place to go. If you have smaller kids, go when they're sleeping so the staff doesn't get annoyed. I don't like kids screaming and crying either, but they're kids and you can't always control their feelings. read more

If you're looking to buy glasses, you should really avoid this place. I bought some glasses and they made it completely wrong. It was the wrong frame. Yet, somehow this was my fault. I had them pick the correct frame only for the glasses to be of poor quality and it gave me poor vision which is based off the prescription I got at this place. I could've had them remake it again but unfortunately, my first remake was due to their own mistake and now I lost $400 for eye glasses that simply don't work. read more

I went to Moon Valley to get away from the big stores so I can get a little bit more personalized service. I didn't mind paying extra, I was just wanting good service. First impression was okay. I had an appointment, got my exam, and ordered my glasses. After waiting for about 3 weeks, I got a call to pick up my glasses. Upon picking them up, the front office person said they didn't have anything for me on file. I informed her that I received a phone call stating I can pick these up. She fumbled through the orders and gave me glasses that weren't even mine. I told her the name didn't match mine and she took them back and finally found my glasses for me. Not a big deal. Mistakes happen. Got my glasses. I noticed the lens "creaked" when I went to put on the glasses. They seemed to be poorly fit to the frames. Upon my fitting the girl agreed, and they were sent back. Another 2 or 3 weeks go by, I get another call. They said the glasses still weren't ready and had to be sent to their Yuma office to be made. A few more weeks go by and finally get the call and picked up my glasses. The glasses were built poorly. The lenses were still loose in the frames, and there was a small crack by the nose bridge. At this point I just took them because I really needed glasses. I let them know my concerns and they said they'd have to send them out again. I couldn't wait another 2-3 weeks. Bottom line is expensive, limited selection of glasses, poor quality, not great service, and a bit of an arrogant optometrist. I wont be back. read more

From the first phone call to my consult with Dr Bromley and his team was first class. I was able to get an appointment within 10 days and they arranged all insurance coverage. Today was my first visit to Moon Valley Eyecare and Dr. Dominguez. I was so happy! The office was clean and lovely; the staff members were polite and professional, efficient and knowledgeable; and Dr. Dominguez is perhaps the World's Friendliest Eye Doctor. Not to mention, he was familiar with rheumatoid arthritis, which I have and which can cause eye complications. He was generous about saying that should I experience anything like those complications, to call him anytime at all. I did end up buying frames using my health insurance benefit but never felt pressured or upsold (as so often happens at these places). We got reprimanded for the time we showed up, even though that was our appointment time, and we came in a little early, to fill out paperwork. We moved to Moon Valley about half a year ago and was looking for a local eye doctor. Previously went to Costco but it didn't feel like they were very customer focused. Moon Valley eye care has appts available on Saturday so that was a big plus. When we got there we had to fill out our information on an iPad and then lead into a room for pretests. Then Dr. Dominguez greeted us and we were in the room, he was very friendly and personable. Also, he was very up to date with the eye health of our current society (we re doing more up-close reading in this age rather than far . Ex. Cell phones and computers). Our exam was done quickly and thoroughly, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful with all our questions. The only hiccup we had was a contact lens coverage of my insurance but it was quickly corrected by the staff. We are happy to find an eye doctor office so close to our home ! read more

I would like to mention here that Dr Jesse Dominguez is a very knowledgeable professional who is very caring and listened to and address the patients specific issues. His analytical and diagnostic skills are commendable, he also has a highest level of professionalism and human touch. I had a second test to establish the baseline data and he has analyzed my data and recommended the best treatment and going forward will review and monitor the condition to ensure the efficacy of the treatment plan. The people at the desk were helpful and accommodating. I came in with two kids after school and had to check in. The wait was short. We were called back and the lady doing the initial exam was nice and patient with my grand daughter. She explained what each machine was for and what it would look or feel like. We were then moved to the doctors office and he was also patient and explained everything to her and me. He took the time to make her feel comfortable and talked about her school and what each machine was for. In the end we talked about her eyes and what she needed. This a shout out to a long time family eye Doc and our New Family Eye Doc Love Doc. Dominguez and all the girls who assist him. They took great care of my wife and I today after we started at Dr. ACKERMAN. Great Doc who took great care of my extended family over 30 years we truly appreciate his time. But today my wife did not see anything that flipped her skirt and I initially made a 2:30pm appointment every though they did not have the style I was looking for either. So I yelped "VSP Vision Providers" and remembered reading about Moon Valley so we drove right over and she loved what she saw. So I looked around and they had thr Oakley Metal Plate frames I was looking for and 5 other selections. We made an appointment and canceled Doc Ackerman. And the rest was a slam dunk and easy like a Sunday morning. Exam went quick and precise, ordered the Oakley frames until my wife looked at the last rack I did not and found a pair that fit me big head like they were made for me. So I ordered them with Active Transition, progressive High Index and the bill was actually less then what I have been quoted before by other great companies in the valley that were out of network preferred. We paid the bill and now awaiting some great Eyewear the likes I have never been so excited for. It is a good time.
