Jeff was the DJ/Emcee at our wedding on October 24th at The St. Regis Monarch Beach. He created an atmosphere unlike any that we have been witness to in recent memory. Our guests raved about the music and continue to rave about him. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and playing the songs that fit each moment from Polka to Fat Boy Slim. If it was requested and he didn't have it (who would ever think Prodigy - Smack My B!t*h Up would be requested at a wedding?), he uploaded it immediately. I cannot thank Jeff enough for his amazing talent as an MC and Dj! My husband and I recently got married on 1/9/2016 and we haven't stopped receiving compliments on our Dj, music and how fun the dance floor was! We had an 8 hour reception from 4-midnight (crazy, I know!) that we anticipated dying off early because, well, 8 hours of dancing and drinking following a 2:30pm ceremony is just a really long day! The complete opposite of what we anticipated happened, the venue was literally asking people to leave the dance floor after midnight and nobody wanted to! So awesome! Jeff's level of professionalism and expertise was something anybody would be blown away by. He looks the part, plays the part and deserves the part over any other Dj I've ever encountered! We hired Jeff for our March wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna. He did such an amazing job! He took care of every request we had with ease and coordinated the reception perfectly. We had a small reception room and Jeff's equipment was not a problem at all. I'd hire him again in a second! He is very professional and easy to work with. He's very helpful and will give you advise when you need it. A DJ plays an important role in a wedding reception. We worked with Jeff, starting about 6 months ago as we were planning our wedding. From the beginning Jeff was very responsive and informative. We felt confident from the yelp reviews and as a referral from another DJ that we picked the right person. Jeff even came out to our venue (private residence) when we did our walk through with the caterer he was there. He helped us plan the event and flow from start to finish providing music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Based on what he was hearing from us he suggested some ideas that we loved for the ceremony. He also paid attention to what mattered to us, my mom had passed away a year before and I wanted to recognize her favorite song, he came up with the idea and executed in such a great way playing the song as the first song over dinner. It was a very special memory and moment for my friends and family. Jeff also did a great job balancing my desire for a full blown dance party with songs to make our family including my husband's mom with very specific input happy. He took into consideration all that we asked for but also did a great job playing the right song at the right time. Jeff was fantastic! If you want a true professional, award-winning, and experienced DJ, then Jeff is the right DJ for you. A DJ's job at a wedding is critical. It is the music and MC'ing that set the tone for the whole event. We are very picky, and interviewed other DJ's, some even that were less expensive: however, we found their inexperience, lack of "personality" and overall talent to be unsatisfactory and it seemed, they would just use a playlist. Jeff led us thorough the reception process from the beginning to the end and he definitely knew what he is doing, which showed clearly at our reception. The introductions were perfect and everything happened on cue. He "read" our difficult audience and played the right songs at the right time to get EVERYONE dancing, from age 9 to age 81, even the lady in the wheelchair participated. It wasn't just for one song either; the guests danced the entire evening! The music was delivered in perfect sound and had the perfect level of amplification. We have many hard-of-hearing guests and they were able to hear, yet the music pumped the dance floor. It was also the right level for the other events, such as cake-cutting, etc. Do not hesitate to hire Jeff. He is a very gifted artist and I would recommend him for any type of audience involved.
