My daughter got a hamburger, my son got the tacos, my wife got the brined chicken sandwich and I got the burger of the day with pineapple, bacon and jalapeños. We split an order of fries and all devoured our food. Service is always top notch. Appreciate all the beer options they have and we always save room for some ice cream from Red Barn. It's one of those "Clean your own table with whatever you can find to wipe it down" type establishments. How this place passes Health Inspection, is a big mystery. My boyfriend, who is White, went back inside shortly afterward to ask about my order, and the employees immediately handed it to him. Based on how I was treated compared to others, I left feeling that I had been treated differently because of my race. It was embarrassing, upsetting, and completely unacceptable. In addition to the poor customer service, I was also concerned by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the food handling practices I observed. Because of these concerns, I have reported the location to the local health department.
