Ok so we came here last night after having gone through a vacation nightmare scenario. We had to get a hotel room in Show Low for the night which was not a part of the plan. So for dinner we passed this location and we loved the title, so after getting settled we ordered which is the only problem we had. Adorable place! We got the Bambino Bucket with 4 meatballs for two people. We also got the cheesy bread which was the star of the meal. It might come down to personal preference, but the sauce is a little more on the sweeter side than savory. Adding the meatballs with their bold Parmesan undertones helped cut the sweetness The sauce to spaghetti ratio was definitely heavier on the sauce, low on the spaghetti. Limited menu but really good food and sauces! We were in the area for a month and ordered from there several times.

I ordered a medium bucket of spaghetti which came with garlic bread. I also asked for CHEESE bread and a side salad. The spaghetti sauce was tangy, a bit bland, few spices and watery. The garlic bread was just ok, could use more garlic. I got home to find no Cheese bread. Only more garlic bread. The side salad was a grocery store mix with one tiny tomato tucked in the corner. Definitely not a restaurant salad. The salad dressing spilled during the ride home. So I poured it into a bowl, added about 6 more little tomatoes, some Italian olives, red onion, feta cheese, veges.. since I had to make a salad at home, not worth the price for mixed lettuce. read more

This is a brilliant idea for eating out. The food is outstanding. The sauce is on-point when it comes to taste, the meatballs are better than mine and that's been confirmed without a Congressional investigation. We read the reviews and thought we were in for a good meal tonight boy were we wrong! I spent $60 on a full shack with 2meatballs and a sausage and a small shack with no sauce just plain noodles. The sausage if you want to call it that was more like beef jerky and had to be cooked days ago and the meatballs not far behind. Sadly, my kids dad re-boils days old noodles for them and they asked me why we are eating dad's noodles so I knew what I was in for on my first bite. This is honestly one of the worst meals we have ever eaten. I tried to call back the restaurant prior to this review to discuss my awful meal and the phone rang busy for hours and I couldn't get through. What an absolute waste of money! Absolutely LOVE this place! I wish I lived closer so I could go there everyday but it's worth a little drive for the spaghetti and those meatballs! I even picked up a couple of extra meatballs for the dog (my baby gets nothing but the best!) and she very much approves as well- lol! I would like to suggest something tho- what about expanding into other easy Italian pastas as well, like Fettucini Alfredo? With chicken instead of the meatballs on that dish, obviously, or a Penne Pasta as well? Or maybe even 2-3 more options of spaghetti sauce? I'm allergic to beef so I have to stress that with them, but the "virgin spaghetti sauce" is quite yummy. The cheesy garlic bread Is phenomenal, but I recommend taking it home and placing it in the oven for a few minutes to warm it up, and then giving it a minute or two under the broiler in order to really make that cheese on top perfect. read more

The meatballs are great!! We've been there a few times. The take out service is good and quick. The meatball sandwich is the best. On our last trip we tried the spaghetti and an order of meatballs. The spaghetti sauce is a bit tart and tasted a bit like jar sauce, but we got home, threw in some oregano and some garlic powder and that was all it needed. Maybe they could add some oregano and punch up the garlic a bit to season the sauce. It would be much better!! But the meatball sandwiches are really good! Nice people work there too. read more
