I was recently burned by a carpet cleaning deal from DealFind and decided to do some heavy research on a carpet cleaning company that can come over and just clean a few rooms. Be careful of these carpet companies that claim '3 rooms for $50' or 'an entire house for $129'. There is ALWAYS an up sell when they get to your house. ALWAYS. The original DealFind was 3 rooms for $35 - the guy comes to my house and told me the deal didn't include soap or pre conditioning treatment and that going upstairs would be extra charge. Can i get a WTFFFFFFF. A friend recommended Moonlight to me - the owner Ken was super cool and answered all my questions. He told me that he has an EIGHT step process when he cleans the carpets - and that INCLUDES scrubbing stained areas, agitating the carpets w/ a certain device before the steam vac, etc etc. He also didn't try to up sell me on pre-spot treatment, pet odor blah blah blah, or pre conditioning treatment. Because it was all included in his quote. I love that. He and his assistant, Dave, came over the next day - called me ahead of time with an ETA as well. Ken took the time to go over the procedure and didn't mind me peeking in every 30 seconds to see if he was doing a good job or not :) But man - do these dudes work HARD. Lots of sweat and hard work. They really took care of alot of areas that other companies would have 1) charged me extra for or 2) would have done a half-ass job on. Ken went over certain areas w/ the agitator and steam vac over and over again to ensure that he got out as much crap as possible. They even use a blow dryer contraption to help speed up the drying process (it was for my home office area so they wanted to put back my heavy desk for me before they left - big kudos to them for that one!) The prices don't include furniture moving but they helped me move certain large pieces (ie my desk). But I didn't mind moving stuff before they got there. I will without a doubt be using them again in the future. My carpets look (and smell) amazing. They use this pre conditioning spray that smells like apples! Anyhow, I highly recommend these guys - it's been a long time since I've met a business owner like Ken that works THAT hard and is that honest about his business :) read more

Ken's been cleaning my carpets for close to 20 years. First met him in my PB days, and he would work miracles of the carpets that were trashed, and most would have thought unsaveable! Ken always helped us get our deposit back!!! He is the most consistent, honorable, reliable, person that I have met not only in this industry, but many others. They didn't need replacing, but definitely needed a deep cleaning! (seriously, when I moved the furniture that had been there for a while, the carpet revealed its original, way brighter color. I was expecting to pay double for the work, and for it to take way longer. We did 3 rooms for $120 (small rooms, about 12x12 average) and they looked great. He sent me an invoice to my requested email address and we were on our way!
