This morning, while sitting in traffic near Boca Raton, one of JVAC's marked service vans aggressively used the express lane exit to bypass traffic before forcing its way back into the travel lane. The driver continued all the way to the plastic delineator posts and nearly clipped the mirror off the pickup truck in front of me. It was an incredibly aggressive and disrespectful maneuver that reflected poorly on the company. As a business owner myself, I know employees don't always make the best decisions. I own an electrical contracting company, and if one of my employees was driving one of my marked vehicles like that, I would absolutely want someone to let me know. Insurance is expensive enough, and your company's reputation is too important to have it damaged by careless driving. I called the number on the back of the van expecting at least a little defensiveness, but I was pleasantly surprised. The owner answered, listened to my concerns without making excuses, thanked me for bringing it to his attention, and assured me he would address the issue with the driver. That level of accountability deserves recognition. We all know how difficult it is to find and keep good employees, and one employee shouldn't necessarily define an entire company. Hopefully this becomes a learning experience for the driver and helps prevent something more serious from happening in the future. While I can't comment on the quality of JVAC's HVAC work, I can say I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown by the owner when a legitimate concern was brought to his attention.

JVAC was highly responsive, willing to work around our schedule (started at 8 a.m.), and both the value and quality of their work was impeccable. Out of the 12+ companies I contacted on Yelp, JVAC was the ONLY one to offer, not only to clean a VERY clogged dryer vent, but also to open the dryer and remove lint from inside the machine itself! It's a good thing they did, because the inside of the dryer also needed a thorough cleaning. Had I hired anyone else, the issue with the clogged dryer would not have been solved with a simple dryer vent cleaning. The pricing was great, and their work was so thorough and careful that we even tipped them 20% on top of what they quoted. I will also reach out to them for any future needs with any of my South Florida air-conditioning and heating systems (they specialize in HVAC), because if the price-to-quality ratio is even close to what we experienced with this job, I am CERTAIN that they will continue to provide the highest quality service at the best pricing for all of my HVAC needs across South Florida.

You know the summers here in South are brutal…read more. arriving home to house with NO AC is not something you ever want.. but tack on the fact I was about to have surgery and would be return home to a house with NO AC, with the humidity and heat index at 110.. I was in tears thinking about my recovery. I called Steven at Seaside... he is an angle! Although they were fully booked for that day of service.. he said not to worry, he would call me after his last appointment and come up and see what was wrong. After working all day, Steven showed up at my door and saved the day! He was able to determine what wrong, explained everything and contacted his supplier for parts, they had them in stock, Steven made a special trip to pick them up (since I needed my unit fixed the next day due to my surgery the parts would not arrive in time if they were shipped) Steven scheduled me for the NEXT DAY, ensuring I would have AC after my surgery! Steven arrived the next morning parts in hand, he fixed my unit and serviced it. Seaside goes above and beyond 'service and repair'. I spoke with Steven about my future plans of moving, he shared his expert opinion with me on what to look for as well as offered to inspect the AC unit at any property that I am going to purchase to make sure the unit is good as well cost for replacement and repair. Extremely disappointed with Seaside Air Services. I called them because of a clogged AC drain and a…read moreleaking pan. My AC was cooling my home perfectly fine before they arrived. After their technician worked on my system, my AC is now no longer cooling, and I am sitting in a hot house in the middle of a hot Florida summer with three kids. During the visit, the technician also raised concerns about my refrigerant, told me my system was much older than I had previously been told, and the diagnosis seemed to change after I purchased their warranty program--from condensation to a supposed hole in the coil and a recommendation that the system essentially needed to be replaced. I cannot prove what happened, but the timing is extremely concerning. I called Seaside to fix a drain and a leak--not to end up with an AC that no longer cools. I will not be paying Seaside to come back and repair a problem that I did not have before their technician worked on my system. I am getting an independent second opinion and strongly recommend that other homeowners do the same before allowing this company to perform additional work. Very disappointing experience.
