Honest review--proceed with caution…read more We were heading into our second year with this company, and reliability was a consistent issue from the start. Service days were unpredictable, and they don't bag clippings, which already made the value questionable. This season is where things really broke down. They failed to show up as scheduled, then told me my grass was "too long" and that the standard $25/week would jump to $100 for the first cut. The justification was that I hadn't done a spring cleanup and that their other customers maintain debris-free lawns. That didn't add up--my yard had no unusual debris, and more importantly, I'm paying for lawn service so I don't have to manage it myself. Despite that, I agreed to the $100 just to keep things moving. Then I was informed my weekly rate would increase by another $5, and they confirmed they'd be out that same day. As has been the pattern, they never showed up and stopped responding. If you want additional perspective, look up Sal's Landscaping out of Niles--you'll find similar feedback about this same operation. At that point, I ended the service immediately. This isn't about the price--you expect to pay for quality. The issue is the lack of reliability, poor communication, and constant runaround. If you're considering them, I'd strongly recommend doing your homework and weighing other options.
