First, in 2022, despite telling them NOT to cut down the flowers (so they can RESEED themselves in order to remain in the garden) they CUT down EVERY SINGLE FLOWER HEAD. THOUSANDS of seeds - gone! As a result, Justin offered my grandmother only a small discount on spring service. Despite him promising my grandmother that Belter Landscaping would not touch the flowers and not cut them down ( again since they are biennial self-seeders that rely on reseeding in order to remain each year...) he BROKE that promise and allowed them to once again, cut EVERY SINGLE FLOWER DOWN! So many years were shed. My grandmother is in her 90d and now won't know if these flowers will ever return. Thousands of seeds tossed away after she told them not to cut them and even worse? He promised her he would not do it and allowed this to happen again - to my 92 yr old grandmother who has been a dedicated client. The broken trust is unbelievable. This has completely devastated not only her, but the entire family.

I requested to be home before the work began, was given a time window, and returned home before that window. But the job, and damage, had been done. I had spoken with the arborist two months prior, and had changed my mind on a cut, and had specific instructions for another. I emailed the business to this effect, and left a voice message. Yet they went ahead without me being home. I will never understand why irreparable change should not have a final confirmation and sign off?? Consequently, three trees on our property were cut the way that the company wanted to do it, based on a conversation months before though our desires had changed. The arborist spoke with me on the phone that day, did his best to apologize and try to make it right by not charging us. He said he would come to the site and talk to me, which did not happen. My advice to tree services: get a final signature before carving up precious trees. You can not put them back together.

I messaged the owner and he said he would come - after four months, no one ever came. Since then, I have paid weekly and the scheduling is erratic at best, often skipping service weeks altogether. The final straw was me paying over 3 weeks ago for a service I have yet to receive - I had to message the owner 4 times and threaten to dispute the charge before he replied. I told him his crew never came to mow the grass - he said "they claim they did.". I offered up my camera footage for the following days and he ignored me again. Throughout the season, I got text messages asking me what my name was (months into working with them) - clearly because the record keeping is terrible. For all I know, they performed lawn services at another house thinking it was me. There are WAY better options out there, do not do business with this company, incredibly unprofessional. The owner does not speak English and relies on his son to translate, so any issues will quickly devolve into a "he-said, she said" situation and you will not win. The owner has zero interest in retaining customers and would rather dispute a weekly $30 charge for 3 weeks rather than make things right when he is clearly in the wrong. I have found a new provider and could not be happier - I suggest any potential customers do the same!
