I'll preface this by saying that I was looking at the wrong website for a place in California, so I went in expecting a lot more than what I got. I was expecting 1.5 hours of service for 135$ with extractions and double masks, and instead I got 30 min for 200$, which is insane. I've lived in Palo Alto and regularly get hydroderm abrasion treatments which are pretty pricy. I'm used to spending money on good skincare, and I love to do so, however this facial was subpar at best. Not once did Tammy ask me about my personal skincare, which was a red flag. She never once explained what treatments she was using or what she was doing with my face, which was very disappointing. However, this would have been forgivable had it been a cheap facial. Ive had these wrinkles on my forehead that always make me feel self conscious im a little nervous to get poked with needles and she did it so nicely I hardly felt it, i had my eyes closed but she warned me everytime before the injections. I have since gotten facial treatments from Tammy who is also amazing. She has completely transformed my skin. I recently decided to get lip filler. I had a been on the fence for a while. Nightmare BioTE Experience w/ Shelly LaFrance Shelly LaFrance, the owner of Moonstone, inserted a BioTE pellet under my skin in my behind 4 weeks ago. Since that time, I've experienced high fevers at night, chills, sweating, hot flashes, irritability, and mood swings. My menopausal symptoms are far worse now than they've ever been because Ms. LaFrance did not take the time to have the pellet specially formulated for my body by a compounding pharmacy. Instead, she plucked a random pellet out of her office cabinet and inserted it, resulting in an overdose of testosterone and estrogen. When I called Ms. LaFrance, she pretty much told me that my symptoms were all in my head, that BioTE is safe and effective, and that I must be sick with the flu or COVID (for which I tested negative by my primary care physician). I'm in tears writing this review because I have to endure the side effects of this hormonal overdose by Ms. LaFrance until the pellet dissolves, which will take months (the pellet cannot be removed)! I spent $1,000 + for Ms. LaFrance's mistake and I'm still paying for it with my health. This review is meant as a warning to other menopausal women who are desperate for relief from their symptoms. DO NOT go to Shelly LaFrance for BioTE - she doesn't know what she's doing, she is not a medical provider, she doesn't care about you or your health, and she places profits over her clients. read more

RUN RUN RUN! Not sure about the entire business, but SHELLY loves to take advantage of people and their kindness and loyalty. Not trustable!!!! Outcome is not worth the $. I feel completely taken advantage of. I called and asked how much lip filler was and was told $700. I went in and showed Shelly the photo, natural looking lip filler, not too much because it's my first time. After the procedure, she rung me up to $1,000. I had saved up exactly $700 for the lips because it's what I was told. My lips were ginormous and nothing like my photo inspiration. I went in to get them dissolved immediately with a different doctor, he was super nice and understanding, he told me that the amount of numbing she used on me was way too much. I couldn't feel a single thing when she did my lips. She also has prescribed way too much MG of medication, and when my friend went into the doctors they said her levels were way too high, that she was taking too much.
