I contacted Moore Cleaning Service for a move-out cleaning, and we both confirmed Saturday, March 30 at 4:30 pm. However, on Saturday at 12:44 pm, Moore informed me via text about a car accident and requested to reschedule. I agreed to reschedule for the next day. On Sunday morning, I confirmed our 8 am appointment, but at 7:13 am, Moore informed me once again that she needed to reschedule. I had originally informed Moore that I needed the cleaning done by Monday, April 1st. Due to the two reschedules, I requested a refund as I needed to find another cleaner promptly. Despite not being able to complete the service my refund request was denied. My deposit was $199.97 This company has also been blocked from some military housing pages because bad reviews or not completing the job as advertised. read more

I completely understand that everyone has their own standards of clean, I personally do not think my standards are too high but unfortunately Moores Clean Gene Cleaning Service did not make the cut. I called asking for a deep clean and right off the bat the very first contact was very unprofessional. I felt like I was speaking to two different people. I was pretty sure I had the wrong number until I asked if it was the cleaning service and her entire demeanor changed. It went from 'who is this?' to 'Yes, it is! Thank you so much for calling. How are you?' I personally own two businesses and never have I answered the phone that way just for the fact that a potential client is calling and I always want to sound professional. I understand that other people are different. I explained a check in Or confirmation on time but I did not get anything except a text the day of saying that one person would show up at 3 and the remaining two people would show up after. I wish that I would have been told. It made me a little uneasy that three people that I did not know where left in my house while I was not home. I think if I were told ahead of time, that would have help me understand a lot more. When the first guy showed up by himself, he was very nice and very polite and professional. He asked me if I wanted anything specific and I told him that I had some folded blankets that needed to be put away but I was unable to do because l'm so short. Those blankets were not put away. They were left out where I folded them. This business was referred to me by a friend and when she had come over, she mentioned that she thought the cleaners were coming over and thought that I had canceled them because my house looked the same. Unfortunately I did not cancel, the cleaners just didn't do much. My house was half dusted and the floors were done which did smell nice, but dog hair was still stuck to the floor. I feel like if I pay for a deep cleaning, I expect my whole house to be dusted, organized, wiped down with carpets vacuumed and hard floors moped. I suppose it is my fault for not specifically asking what was included in the deep clean. I have not asked for this problem to be resolved, I have not asked for a refund, they did a service that needs and has been paid for, it just didn't meet my standards of clean. I booked their services on March 25th for a military move-out clean for June 17th. They charged me a $100 deposit and told me the remaining $300 would be due at the time of service. I accepted and paid deposit. There was NO MENTION then, in the conversation, on their website, or their invoice that the deposit was non-refundable. We had our pre-inspection yesterday (30 days prior to scheduled service) and was told that we would not need a cleaning upon move out. Immediately, I reached out to the company and requested my deposit back. They refused. I sent them screen shots showing that there was no mention and they are still refusing. read more

Wouldn't recommend! Highly disappointed with overall experience. Had a move out, the day before got a message if I could move the time. No biggie things happen. At least I was told ahead of time. Not the reason for the bad review. I got to my home fifteen minutes early and the person who came was 25 minutes late. No communication, no apologizes or anything. Just moved into a small one bedroom house. I had requested carpet cleaning in addition to a full house cleaning. They agreed and sent someone to me. The day of they called to let me know traffic was extremely heavy and we're going to be late- life happens so no worries. I asked them to call me in advance when they were 15 minutes away so I could open the doors and walk through the space with them. Long story short- the cleaner arrived, didn't call, and didn't have the cleaning supplies for cleaning the carpets. I asked them to just do their best. But clean the rest of the house as best as possible. Less than An hour later I received a phone call telling me that my entire home was cleaned and ready to go. They explained That they were having an emergency and had to go but the house was good to go. After leaving, I took a tour of the home. I will admit my house is SMALL but there's no way that it could be spotless in an hour. They didn't touch the cabinets, drawers, closets, ceilings, walls, Cobb webs, window seals, blinds, no hard scrubbing on the floors to try to get out tougher stains. With an hour of cleaning they still expected me to pay over $300 for nothing to be done the way I'd requested. I spoke to someone the next Morning about the bill. They took money off the bill but I still paid close to $250 for nothing to be done. I still had to clean carpets and deep clean my house that same afternoon before I moved in. They offered to come back out and make it right but only if I paid more money to do so. That is not customer service and I'm severely disappointed with the overall experience. Hopefully no one has similar issues with this company as I did. Side note I have a house keeper who serviced my last home and I would pay her $100 for 3-4 hours every week to maintain the cleanliness of my home- I've never paid a cleaning service $250 for an HOUR of work. read more

I contacted Cali at Moore's Clean Gene 2 to do my rental move-out cleaning. She was very nice, and I was impressed with her website and bio. Her reviews looked good, so we booked the appointment. A couple days before the appointment we realized we would not be moved-out in time for the house to be cleaned, so I called to see if she could book us for the following day. Because it was such late notice, she was already completely booked for that day, but Cali went out of her way to schedule us for a late evening appointment after her other jobs were finished. When Cali's staff arrived at the house, they realized it was a larger home with much more work than originally planned. Cali took charge of the situation by enlisting more people for the job. It was important for our timeline that the house was cleaned by the end of that day because the carpet cleaner was coming the next day. I was totally impressed and grateful that Cali and her team were so committed to the job, and went above and beyond for us, to finish on time. I had to contact Cali both by phone and through text several times. Cali was very responsive and either answered right away, or called back or texted within just a few minutes. The house looked beautiful, and we were so impressed by all that the Clean Gene team were able to do!
