He provide profiles and pictures of several vehicles. We started a back and forth on one particular truck and after several exchanges we agreed on terms. Kellie had the truck detailed and paperwork started. When I arrived Salesman Scott presented me with a beautiful blue Ford Raptor. I was given time to thoroughly inspect the truck and I agreed to buy it. Scott was courteous and kind and extremely knowledgeable on all the workings of the truck. My time at the dealership was minutes not hours. Manny the Finance Manager was great and went over all the fine lines of the contract with no pressure on buying any extras I wasn't interested in. We completed the process in a few minutes and was then introduced to Ray the Sales Manager. Ray made sure that I was satisfied with my purchase and that the staff who assisted did a good job. I don't know about the rest of the building cause I never made it past the lady at the desk. I purchased a new truck a couple weeks ago and it was damaged in an accident last week. I went there with the intention of getting a quote of the damage so I could take it to my insurance rep then get it fixed. That didn't happen. The lady was asking all sorts of questions that I couldn't answer and the answers I gave her was not to her liking. I really didn't think it was up to her to determine who was gonna pay the bill since the accident was not my fault and it shouldn't have any bearing on just getting a estimate.That is why I pay for insurance. I realized she was not going to give me a quote and I didn't want the conversation to escalate. . I just want to get my truck fixed without a bunch of drama. I saw where Mooresville Ford offered a $75 oil change special that included valet service. I called and asked how much a full synthetic oil change would cost. Shannon (who is amazing!) responded and said it was $112. This is a much better price than I had been getting in 2 other locations we had previously used, so I scheduled the service. The communication was great as I received an email and text notification. A day or two before the service, I received another reminder. On the day of the oil change, I received a text that they were on the way to pick up my F-150 truck from my workplace. They were right on time and both the people (David and Barbara) were very nice. I texted Shannon (who responds to texts very politely, quickly and professionally) to ask how much they would charge to have my tires rotated. She responded right away and said, "It is included in the cost of the oil change!" That was such a pleasant surprise! I was notified my truck was ready to pick up, I called and got the cashier right away, and they took my payment. My truck was returned on time and they left full documentation of the work they did on my truck - 6 quarts of full synthetic oil, oil filter, topped off all the fluids and rotated my tires with depth of tire tread noted on documentation. All this for $139 all included price. If this was not enough, Shannon reached out to me and said Ford is offering a $25 rebate for the oil service AND a complimentary car wash!! Is that crazy or what?? I have told several people at work about this incredible deal. No problem getting appointments, and was in and out promptly. 3 stars because waiting room was sparse, with just 2 rows of chairs, and because they add 3% to the bill if you use a charge card. I was at Mooresville Ford today getting my 2021 Mustang convertible serviced for a minor recall.While I was in the waiting room I was looking at a few bad reviews and couldn't believe what I was reading.I have been a customer of Mooresville Ford since 2018 and this is my second vehicle.The staff folks here have been nothing short of professional,courteous and very helpful.The service has been great and at a fair value.I had a delicious cup of coffee but my only complaint was that when I went to get my complementary ice cream bar out of the freezer chest it was empty.I always think about my ice cream reward when driving down that crazy route 150 to get there...Lol I will continue to do business with Mooresville Ford regardless of route 150!! read more

OK, so I was waiting in the waiting room and not actually buying a car because that seems to be a secondary activity at car dealerships in NC (moved to a quiet corner of the showroom to escape the drivel and blather of daytime TV.) Brought the other car in for an oil change and inspection because it needs the former and the state demands the latter. Thought I'd be in and out without an appointment and just a little irritation but a busted oil filter mounting ring thing put an end to that. Not sure if it was overly tight from last time or underly skilled this time but I'm leaning to the other place because M-F hasn't broke my other vehicles (...and it's been attended to quickly and with little fuss so kudos to these guys.) While there were some challenges with my car repair in terms of length of time to get it back, I appreciate their openness in telling me about the delay and working with me to get a rental vehicle that was part of the premium warranty package. It's worth noting that my Service Advisor Amanda did a great job of working with me, providing me with shuttle rides for the rental vehicle and to/from home, and her honesty in giving me updates on the repair (transmission replacement) even when it was bad news. Given how busy they are, I'm pleased with their work. With my F150, I had normal service done (oil/filter change & tire rotation) and found them to be very timely (in an out within an hour), which exceeded my expectation and they did a good job. Given my experiences and interactions with multiple employees, I would recommend Mooresville Ford. read more

Zero stars if I could. Went in a few times for oil changes and and twice had to purchase things because they damaged items. First was lugnuts because they stripped them and next was a headlight that magically burnt out while under their care and was working when they checked them, but not in the parking lot. Called and got the run around and then promised owner would call me and never did. I had had Ford vehicles for 17 years but literally over 70 bucks will not purchase again. Sounds petty but that's the importance of a phone call promised and word of people. Their service Dept is unprofessional and take zero responsibility. In fact, I believe I've written five or less in my life, however the last two times I've been moved to write, the business featured has been Mooresville Ford. Now, after my last experience at MF, I told myself that I'd never do business with them again. I didn't feel I'd have the energy or the patience to experience the Service Center again, but I have a couple of admitted weaknesses - empathy and a belief in second chances. So, when my (largely) trusty 2011 Ford Edge needed a technical diagnosis for some recent electrical Gremlins, I decided to go with the closest Ford dealer and extend a second chance to the team at Mooresville Ford. Was my trust and faith rewarded? [Narrator's Voice] It was not... I stopped by last week and scheduled a drop-off for Monday morning. I was given the rundown on the diagnostic fees and was promised I would have my car back by close of business. Now, what the service representative (and there's no need to put her name on blast here in this review) didn't tell me before I hopped in the complimentary shuttle to return to my home is that Mooresville Ford would be returning my car to me with zero work being done on it by a technician. Not a diagnostic... Not a repair... Quite possibly not even cranking the engine... They had the car for nine hours and did not a single thing to it. Which is the same amount of diagnosis I did during those nine hours, and the car wasn't in my possession. Sure, I got an explanation that granting me an appointment didn't assure me they'd look into the problems with the car ... at 3 pm ... when I called the dealership after not hearing a single word all day. I contemplated the wisdom of taking reservations that wouldn't be honored, but I figured it must be a part of the whole "Quality is Job One," thing they used to speak proudly of. So, I called up the trusty shuttle to bring me back to retrieve my Edge, and upon encountering my assigned service representative, I was told simply, "your keys are with the cashier." That's right - no apology, no real explanation, not even an attempt to reschedule me and create a revenue opportunity for the business that is Mooresville Ford. And that alone should tell you volumes about how broken their process and culture is. Zero calories were expended to attempt to retain a customer - a Ford owner. That being that, I contacted Huntersville Ford. And I was not at all surprised when the individual on the phone from Huntersville told me, "I don't know what's going on up there, but we've been booking a lot of people who are not happy with their experience at Mooresville Ford." She went on to do something the team at Mooresville couldn't be bothered to do - she apologized on behalf of the Ford Motor Company for my service experience in Mooresville. That's a properly functioning culture. If you've made it this far, take some friendly advice and don't make the multiple mistakes I've made. Take your car to Huntersville and leave Mooresville to die on the vine of service ineptitude. read more

I am very displeased with this dealership. I bought a 2014 ford from another dealership and took It here to have the recalls fixed. I also asked them to inspect the vehicle for any other issues as I bought the car used and had to have the transmission replaced after 2 weeks of having It. Apparently one of the recalls they fixed was a coolant hose that was leaking. I just went on a 4 hour trip and unbeknownst to me the splash guard under the vehicle was falling off because they didn't put It back on right and now I just had to pull over on the side of the road because my vehicle overheated due to low coolant. Which is funny because If they just had to replace the hose why wouldn't you check to make sure the coolant levels were right? I am just so frustrated at this point and do not recommend this dealership at all. Now I have to bring It back to ford on my day off to have two issues resolve that could have been done properly the first time. Also after I picked up my vehicle after having the recalls fixed they did not go over anything with me. I would have appreciated a detailed explanation of what exactly was done other than just giving me the paperwork and saying "have a nice day". I made a point to have the vehicle looked at besides the recalls since I've already had an issue with the transmission. CHECK CAR BEFORE DRIVING OFF LOT!!! I recently purchased a 2018 Ford Edge. When the sales team says they will work to get you in a car, they will. I was SO excited to finally drive it. Then I noticed a blemish on the dashboard. Took the car back and they blamed it on me. Said it looked like a burn. Well considering I do not smoke that is not the case. They denied warrantee based on that. We took the car there 4x to see about warrantee for dash (an hour each way). I emailed Ford as well. Denied. So now I have a car that has a hole in dash and I get to pay for it for the next 5 years. Buyer beware. Before you drive it off the lot CHECK THE CAR. they will say their detail guy is great and misses nothing. Learn from my mistake. read more

This dealership is the worst. I spent 60k on a bronco I ordered off the internet. Waited two years on it to arrive. I got the car at the 2021 price locked in so they tried every way in the world not to let me have it. They refused to run my credit and offered me 1/4 the value car max offered for my daughters old car. When that didn't work I brought them a check for the car. They wouldn't take it because they forgot to include title and tags. They threatened to wreck it getting it off the truck. I told them I needed to see the damage firsthand if they did. The did attempt it and scratched up the plastic fender. I bought the car. Together we're mad and let my temp tags expire and would not get me new ones. A lady from the bank had to threaten legal action to release my paperwork. All the while I'm.the bad guy for messing up their commission. read more

This is the worst managed dealership I have ever been too! I made an appointment to have a safety recall done while having my oil changed. The lady who scheduled the appointment said it was a 2 hour job. When I dropped off the vehicle at 10 am, the service advisor told me it wouldn't be done until the end of day. A big inconvenience, but I could deal with it since they didn't have any loaners??? I called at 5 pm since I hadn't heard from anyone to see if my vehicle was ready. The service advisor had left for the day so I had to speak with someone else. They told me my vehicle would not be ready until the next day about 2. The dealership still didn't have a loaner and I asked the service advisor for some consideration on the oil change. He stated the service manager is out on disability and there was not anyone else available to help. I went into the dealership to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received and couldn't find anyone with authority to listen. I am proud to own my Ford F150 and understand recalls happen. It's too bad the Mooresville Ford is manage poorly and I hope the ownership reads this complaint and makes changes to customer service. read more

I'm not the guy that writes reviews but in this case it's warranted. I took my 2019 truck in because of rattle in the door. After my truck sitting up there all day I was told they couldn't hear the rattle. I then went for a ride with the service manager who heard the noise. I rescheduled and brought the truck BACK in a few days later. I was then told that when they drove it they only heard the rattle once but couldn't tell from where. Then I was told that the guy the issue was assigned to couldn't get to it for a couple of days. Why make a freaking appointment? read more

Told them I had a dead battery. Knew it was a dead battery. Left the car there for them to change the battery. Yes it was 7am when they had my husband sign the paperwork but they didn't tell him there was a $97 diagnosis fee just to look at something I TOLD them was wrong. It's not like it was rocket surgery!! At one point they told us one price then we pick up the car and it's $100 more. Go figure. What a scam. Wish I could do that as a teacher.... oh yea I wouldn't because I'm TRUSTWORTHY! The following weekend, I'm at a Special Need camp 6 hours away with my daughter and when we go to leave, my car is DEAD! The same issue!! The car was never fixed!!! Had to drive back from Kentucky without shutting off my car scared it would die. Took it back the following Monday and told them the battery fix wasn't a fix. That they obviously didn't do any diagnostic that they charged me a fee for. Left it again. Had to talk to the GM to get anywhere. He said they wouldn't charged me! Damn straight they wouldn't!! And from now on I'm not paying that fee!! Three days later, a complimentary loaner car, and a walk in the rain later, my car was finally fixed!! read more

Terrible customer service. My 2018 Ford Explorer has been in the service shop for a total of 14 days as I type and I have been told that the service tech is sick that is working on my truck and there is none else that can work on my truck. They tell me the engine is sitting on the floor. Wow. I have a beach trip booked and planned with family and need to pack the truck tomorrow to leave Thursday. Unacceptable. I was given a small Ford Focus to drive and that will not accommodate six passengers. I regret I brought my truck into this dealership and would NEVER come back unless there are issues with the repair and I can honestly say I am nervous my truck will be fixed properly with it taking this long. read more

I just recently purchased a car from Taylor at Mooresville Ford and it was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a car dealership. Taylor helped my husband and I make a decision that was most beneficial for us. We arrived feeling helpless, stuck with a lemon that has been draining our bank account - and ended up leaving with a gorgeous car, loaded with features and a payment that we could easily work with. Taylor took her time to make sure we were 100% comfortable with the sale and did not pressure us in the slightest. I got my F-350 back from the service department running worse than it went in. They incorrectly installed the injector clips, broke the fuel regulator (and glued it back together), broke the rubber piece between the radiator and the grill, and installed the rail control module in such a manor that it could not operate. It took them 2 weeks to do this and all the management could do was say "I'm sorry". Had to buy parts to fix what they messed up (not from them). Good luck getting me to come back! I plan to purchase a new truck this year and I would drive 100 miles before I would deal with these people again. As for a rating, they don't have one below 1 star! read more

Avoid this place when buying a car as they WILL take advantage of you at the first chance they get. First I decided to start looking for a car by going through the online process and that was great, once I found one I liked I made an appointment and the sales guy I had, Ronnie, was great. Then the finance happened. I had a guy named Dillon or Dylan (who knows) but, if you have this guy as your finance rep just leave or come back another day. He will maliciously fold papers and leave out information and pretty much lie to your face to get you to sign papers (one lie was telling me interest started when my first payment is made when in reality it started that day). He also claimed he looked really hard for better rates which I'm positive was a lie seeing as my credit was run ONCE to ONE bank. He also got me a beyond terrible rate for my credit which I am refinancing 3 days later because it was that bad. Also to mention I had waited an entire hour to even talk to him after sales to which I told him that I had to leave within 20 minutes. After this if I mentioned that I didn't want something that he was trying to scam me with he would go off on a 7-10 minute tangent where he would pull the papers back and wouldn't let me sign or read what he was talking about. He legitimately treats you like you barely understand anything. Just to get out of the building I signed up for 2 things knowing I would cancel within a week because I didn't have time for Dillon's garbage anymore. At this point when I called to ask about cancelling the lady that answers the initial phone call treats you like its a great problem that you called for any reason. She then will make some random excuse as to why she can't transfer you to the party you need to talk to. The only positive interaction I had was when I asked for the finance manager and she helped me cancel the garbage that Dillon signed me up for as well as being extremely prompt and helpful. That all being said, thank you to Allison and Ronnie as you two were the only people that made this anything better than a -2 star review as every other bit of the experience was terrible. EDIT:: Close to a month later I've come to the conclusion that this is actually probably a rental car which the dealership DID NOT MENTION. Please do yourself a favor and don't even entertain this dealership with a thought. Final EDIT:: As an end to this saga the refinanced rate with the SAME CREDIT SCORE was 5% lower. Once again solidifying that this dealership doesn't care about you or what you are looking for, you are no more than a dollar sign. It's taken 16 days for the refund to get through from canceling the policy and the GAP still hasn't been processed as cancelled as of writing. I'm not sure what is happening there but I won't ever even look at this location again, that is for sure. read more

My family and I drove on our way to S.c. to this dealership from VA after my husband had been in contact with a salesman in regards to a used truck that was for sale. My husband was informed that the vehicle even though 16 yrs old was in great shape and running condition. However, upon our arrival and after driving quite a few hours out of our way, my husband was taken to the truck and once the truck was turned on an immediate ABS light came on potentially indicating an issue with the truck. The sales manager tried to reassure us that it was a blown light and could easilh be replaced and that the truck was deemed ok by two mechanics in the area. Least to say, we did not buy the truck as it was a "at is sale" and there was no way to verify that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle. This business did BAD business as they failed to disclose this issue even though they were informed that we were coming in from out of town and further failed to fix something that if "ok" appeared to be broken. Super disappointed and will be contacting our insurance company about tgis business as they are listed a certified dealer. read more

I had a great experience buying a used car from Mooresville. The sales staff was friendly and helped to make the process smooth. They allowed me to take the car to a mechanic to be inspected before I bought, and were not pushy in the least. THAT part of my experience with them gets 5 stars. It's only after I bought the car that I received very little help with a few loose ends and now a VERY big issue. Per our agreement when I bought the car, I'd be sent a new center cap for a wheel and some bolts that were missing off the back bumper. I have yet to receive the bolts. It took no less than 6 phone calls and 2 months for them to finally send me the center cap. A mere 5 MONTHS after I purchased the car, the electric power steering completely malfunctioned and now it takes all of my muscle power just to turn the wheel. It's scary to drive. It's not covered by the "comprehensive" 3-year warranty I purchased from them, so I'm expected to pay for this out of pocket, which has been quoted to me at $1,150 minimum from another shop. I have tried repeatedly to contact them about this, over the phone and also via e-mail and I've received absolutely no response. I would think that a dealership that prides itself on quality and service that this would be a concern to them as well, but I guess not. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Seems that Mooresville Ford truly cares about the customer, or else they wouldn't have taken the effort to listen to the gripes and holes I thought were lacking at this dealership. Many people are not buying cars like they were a few years ago. Most are hanging on to the cars that they currently have, making them last longer and splurging less and less. The rebates and special offers are just not there like they used to be. That isn't Mooresville Ford's fault, that is the industry trying to hang onto every dollar they can, just like the consumer. Now a days, standing out from one dealership to the next is what is going to land you more walk-ins and appointments leading to purchases, than the "volume dealers" in the neighborhood. (You might sell more because you have more--but it doesn't make you better than the smaller guys. Hint hint volume dealers.) People today just don't want their egos stroked when they are about to drop $50K on a truck, they want to know that they are doing the right thing. Mooresville Ford is setting an example of how car buying business should be done. You don't leave the dealership feeling like you lost. Kudos to you! read more

At first glance, my wife and I were impressed with Mooresville Ford. We traded in our F-150 for a used car and the Sales Rep was very helpful. He spend plenty of time helping us get the price we were looking for. Now to where things turned ugly, as with every dealership trade in, we signed an authorization for payoff on 12/31/17, giving Mooresville Ford PLENTY of time to pay off our previous financier so they could retain title of ownership. However, 3 MONTHS LATER (yes, last week in March), we received a letter from Mooresville Ford saying that we owed them an additional $400. I simply ignored the letter since they had plenty of time (3 months to be exact) to bring it to our attention that they mis-quoted the payoff. Then some woman from the dealership called my wife and harassed her with the threat of involving an attorney multiple times. The cowards didn't even have the courage to call me (and they have my number since I was the one who signed all of the forms). This speaks volumes to the character/morals of the ownership of this dealership. PLEASE, IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A FORD, PLEASE TRY ELSEWHERE FIRST. I was out to dinner last night to celebrate my 6/7 birthday, and who do I get a happy birthday call from-Larry Cheek.
