I was hungry for some sweet and sour chicken, so I asked my husband if Chinese sounded good to him. Thankfully hr had the same craving and I had a Chinese restaurant I hadn't gone to in 12 years that I wanted to check out again. My husband and I both got the a large sweet and sour chicken from Moo's Place. My husband works out in Watervliet right now so it was convienent to stop by after work. The food was as good as I remember and I look forward to getting them more often now that we are in the area more often. I always love chicken from Chinese restaurants, so next time I'll either get orange or lemon chicken. My husband also got some pork stripes that came with a sauce and veggies. He doesn't care for veggies so I gladly ate the peppers and carrots. I thought they were really tasty and were giving me a Chinese stir fry vibe. I want to get some of those next time as well. I'm glad my husband and I got a craving for Chinese the same day. I will definitely be requesting to come back sooner than later.

Delicious, fast, and everything tastes fresh. I've had to ask for modifications to dishes and they do it without any issues.

Potatoes and carrots were slightly under cooked and too crunchy for my liking. Shanghai noodles were yummy. Pan fried dumplings were large and tasted great. The dipping sauce needed a little vinegar but the ginger and scallion made up for it. Definitely would stop by again if my travels brought me back to town.

Our new go-to Chinese spot!!…read more This spot is off the beaten path but worth the extra to stop in and try!! Our pupper's groomer is in this plaza complex and so we recently took notice and are so glad we did! On our first visit I didn't think to get pictures but it was a fun visit with a great introduction to the amazingly unique foods they offer at Z&W! This restaurant offers many of the what they call "old fashioned meals" on their menu - orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour, etc... but they also offer an "Authentic Sichuan menu"! During the first visit we had no idea what to get so we asked our waiter for suggestions and guidance! We wanted to try something off of the authentic menu but had no idea what to choose! He was terrific in helping us understand what was popular and what things we might like! There is also a book on each table with pictures of the each of the menu items! AMAZING IDEA!!! We ended up ordering the Dry Chili Beef and the Kingpao Sichuan chicken. Both were delicious but VERY spicy! For me personally, next time I go with a spicy dish (it was indicated as spicy on the menu, the waiter did explain) I need to ask them to tone down the spice level for my palate! Each of the authentic menu items comes with white rice, fried rice is available for an additional cost. These items do not include a side. The star of the visit was the appetizer of crab meat rangoons! WHOA!!! They are huge and fresh and SO stinking tasty! Ours came out so hot that the fresh, crispy shell burned my lip a little bit - but in a good way! I can't remember the last time I had Chinese food that was SO fresh!! Definitely consider ordering the rangoons!! Our second visit we decided to try the old fashioned menu - we ordered the orange chicken and the General Tao's chicken. These dishes come with rice AND a side! If you choose rangoons for the side you get TWO!!! Totally my choice as I already knew from my first visit that they were next level!! My husband ordered the egg roll which was actually crazy delicious!! It's a difficult decision! You can also choose soup in place of either of those options! We added a side of hot and sour soup to share which tasted very authentic and delicious! This spot is so cute and the staff is SO very friendly with warm, welcoming service! This is definitely a great place to grab lunch or dinner and we can't wait to get back to try out more of their highly delectable menu items!

They have tons of vegetarian options and will ask if you want your tofu fried or not fried. I was surprised that the tofu dishes were mainly vegetables and not just entirely tofu like other restaurants. But their flavors are amazing. A few things you should know: - they are take out only - they only accept cash - they close for a few hours between lunch and dinner (they close at 2 pm and reopen at 4 pm) - sometimes they can come across as rude, but they're really nice once you get to know them.

The combo fried rice tasted really good and had a fair amount of meat and shrimp in it. The orange tofu size is very good and they give you the option to either have it fried or grilled, which is an option most other restaurants don't give you. The downsides were that it did take quite a while as they do heat up the grill per customer as to not waste resources, and I did find a very long hair in my food. This is a carryout only restaurant you cannot dine in and they do not take any type of card so be advised! Their pricing is very fair though.
