He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and I loved his old school vibe. We made an appointment to the estimate and he was very prompt. Meeting Red, talking to him about our patio cover plans, and having him answer any questions we had was such an enjoyable experience. Red, and his partner, Ed have been building these patio covers for a while now. They are a locally owned licensed business that do the work themselves. They utilize quality Four Seasons building materials that require little to no maintenance. The bid we were given and the honest way that Red talked about his life and business clinched it for us. We chose a date, Red & Ed came out the day before the start to make sure we were all on the same page about the build, and the next day began. Ed, and his assistant Isiah, came promptly at the time they said they would. They set up and got started right away. Both of them were also very personable, and experienced. We were told that our project would take about 2 1/2 days, and it did exactly that! Pacific patio installed my patio cover and installed the lights, fans, internal gutters, outlets, and completed the permits needed for there portion of the project. People onsite were fantastic, hard working, and helped me understand what was being done. Gave me options along the process. I was able to call audibles like canceling my sunroof since we decided it was not needed and the cost was de-ducted. The concrete pour for the vertical stands I feel we're over engineered. It's incredibly solid and large pour. Cover is insulated and can be walked on no problem. This cover has completely changed how we host and how we live. Heck we took our inside dining table and moved it outside. We don't even host inside anymore. Some things that if I had to knit-pick or add feature in the future. The dinning lights are great but it would be nice if I we could do color changing selection lights. The placement of the fans are limited to specific channels within the roof structure which I did not realize before hand. Mine worked out pretty good but would have been nice to have a more custom placement of fans or placement of the lights. Also, I have a small gap between cover and wall where my main door is so some rain does get through. Hoping to add some skirt metal and deflect that rain onto the top of the cover. That said it's still a fantastic product but maybe future tech/changes will give this option.

I finally had it replaced last April 2025 by Skyline Patio and Sunrooms with an insulated cover. One year later, it has passed the test through hot weather, rain and wind. No more frying eggs on the concrete floor! I was very very happy with the service I received from this company. Joe, the manager, and Rick design rep, Darrin construction manager, Andrea production coordinator, Dianna sales coordinator, and others that came to do the work on site, were all professional and a real blessing in getting my new patio cover designed and put together with the features I wanted. The crew that worked on site demonstrated much care and passion in the work they did. The crew took time to answer my questions and even made a video on my phone so I could remember how the wiring was done for my patio light and fan. I have gutters on each side and also had outlets put in. Today the temperature in my backyard in the sun is 102°F. In the shade of my Avocado tree the temp is 96°F. The ambient temperature under my insulated patio cover is 84°F!! That's an 18 degree difference! The company responded quickly to my initial call and once material was in, had the work completed within 2 days. They took down and removed the old cover, prepped the areas needed, and cleaned up afterwards. Out of all the companies I met with, Skyline Sunrooms came out as my top choice. Solution: Install nice-looking awnings over the entry doors and seal the top edges against the building. Manny from Awning Solutions came to our house to see the install location and showed us a variety of awning types and a rainbow of Sunbrella fabric colors and patterns. We decided that three awnings were needed, each a slightly different width. The Awning Solutions team quickly manufactured the needed frames and fabric covers. Installers Joe and Jaime arrived promptly on installation day, attached the finished units, and showed us the best way to clean and care for the fabric, which we expect to last 10 years or longer. Ariana managed our various communications smoothly (including asking for this Yelp review.) I received 3 bids, including one with the same manufacturer that came in about $7,000 more. We brainstormed design ideas so the center cover wouldn't be so low and we came up with the 3 tier approach. I went ahead and splurged with insulation, fan, lights and the "4k" aluminum beams to have 4 post (instead of 6 with alumiwood). The one area, as I've seen on some of the other comments is the scheduling/communication issue. Like other contractors, they sometimes have multiple projects in parallel, and sometimes it wasn't clear which days they were coming and when they were going to finish. So, I did have to text to check in with the owner, Ulysses. I did have a chat with him, and he was receptive to the feedback. Overall, YES I would recommend and use them again.
