Before I begin, I want to acknowledge that this is only the 2nd review I've written on Yelp. It's not that I am stingy with writing reviews, but I don't usually get the urge to write one. However, our family ate here yesterday, on Mother's Day, and I can honestly say I was blown away. Growing up with Indian food, my expectations aren't usually very high to find the same quality (or better) of Indian food outside the home. Where do I begin? We had 7 adults and 2 kids for the family lunch. Half of the family are strictly vegetarian and one is strictly vegan. We ordered 7 or 8 items from the menu, and honestly, there wasn't an item we didn't love. My father-in-law (hope he doesn't read this) is very particular about flavors, probably most particular/picky in the whole family. He usually has one thing or another to say concerning the food. I did not once here him complain about any of the dishes (I sat next to him). In fact, I was surprise to hear him raving about the quality of the various dishes. My personal favorite was Lamb Curry Masala. Three reasons why; 1. The flavor was 10/10. Many Indian restaurants have a difficult time getting out the distinct lamb meat smell (for those of you who know what I'm talking about). More Curry has a cook with 3 decades of experience, and I got to say, he made me want to eat lamb curry everyday! 2. The meat was extremely tender (but not mushy or overcooked). If you've had lamb curry at an Indian restaurant before, chances are you've experienced two opposite ends of the spectrum. Most times it is overcooked and there are many times it is undercooked, slightly red (only steak should be slightly red!). Yesterday, More Curry definitely brought out one of the best lamb curries I've eaten! 3. Lastly, this next reason is a game changer in my opinion. More Curry didn't skimp on the quantity of lamb meat, and I don't recall seeing any bones (maybe couple of tiny ones at most). Again, for those who have experienced lamb meat at an Indian restaurant know that it is common practice to include just as many bones as meat to make the bowl appear fuller. You won't find that practice at More Curry! By now I must sound like I was paid to leave this review or incentivize with a free meal. I am doing it because the owner's vision of serving food of the highest quality is in line with my own desire to eat food only of the highest quality. Another reason I took the time to write this review is because of my two kids; they both really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. My 8 year old daughter rarely eats meat, and she tried lamb curry for the first time yesterday. She loved it! My 2 1/2 yr old son is a super picky eater. It's hard to get him to sit down and eat, but I was extremely pleased to see him eat couple of garlic naans and rice. Also, I don't remember what it was called but they had this french fries with cheesy gravy and butter chicken. Best french fries ever! In conclusion, if you're looking to try new food or looking for a new Indian restaurant or simply looking to support a local business, I highly recommend you try More Curry. read more

Just tried More Curry and it was absolutely amazing. Not only was the food delicious and made with great quality ingredients, the service was top notch. Very helpful and friendly staff who made great suggestions and made us fell welcome. Definitely recommend and can't wait to be back! On the left the chicken tikka kebab. Very nicely seasoned and tender chicken. Butter chicken poutine fries are a must. Nice crispy fries and the butter chicken is great. Stuffed gol gappa is a flavor bomb in your mouth. There isn't anything negative I can say about this place. The food portions are healthy, not too much not too little. The biggest thing for me is cleanliness, and this restaurant does not disappoint. Just stopped here yesterday after seeing this place on instagram and was not disappointed. The place is cozy and clean. A few tables and an area with bar style seating. The food was so good and came out piping hot. I got the butter chicken wrap which was flavorful and and a good portion or meat to veggie ratio. The naan was good too. Stopped by this afternoon for a quick lunch. They were fairly busy with all of the tables taken and only high bar type chairs left to sit. Things moved fairly rapidly and I was able to get a normal table and chair. The food was great! Wonderful flavors mixed well with the lunch special. Found out about this place through the Corona Facebook group I'm in and I'm so glad I gave this place a try today! Nick, the person who took our order was very thorough and kind. The basmati rice is very flavorful and so buttery. Both the lamb and chicken masala are flavored to perfection (my only complaint is that the sauce is a little on the salty side) and both meats were very tender. We paid an extra $1 for the garlic naan and it was so worth it! The naan is so fluffy and moist. I will definitely be eating here again and I highly recommend this place! I have to say husband and I are very impressed at the authenticity of their foods! It was their soft opening and we thought why not, and try it. Just went in today for the first time and boy More Curry did not disappoint! Indian food is my favorite type of food, whether from the North or South, so I was excited to hear about More Curry opening right near my house. I went in and was happily greeted by the owner who was extremely nice and we had a nice conversation after I placed my order of the butter chicken wrap. I was happy to find he owns the place with his parents, love supporting family owned businesses. Now onto the food, The wrap was delicious and the sauce was so yummy! The butter chicken here has earned its name by both butter and chicken standards alike. The chicken is perfectly cooked with a bit of bite to it, swimming in a creamy butter curry sauce that has a decent kick. I got the standard lunch plate which came with naan (plain or garlic, of course I got garlic), basmati rice with little seeds and a small salad dressed with a freshly made mint sauce/dressing. I'd visited one other Indian curry place near here before and wasn't that impressed. But come here and you'll definitely ask for more curry. For non-rice people, this place also has innovative spins using traditional recipes like pizzas etc, I won't go near those as I'm a die hard curry and rice person. The naan was nicely seasoned, crispy in some places and definitely tender and chewy in others - perfect for transporting that butter sauce to your mouth. As for portions, when I went to lunch I was the only female customer so dudes should come away well satisfied. Definitely coming again. read more

Food is amazing! The spices are just perfect not overwhelming! The chicken tendori kabob is tender and juicy. The butter chicken fries were sooooo delicious. They have fusion pizza; the chicken marzala was amazing , normally I don't eat the crust but this crust was the best I've ever had. Service was excellent, the food came out pretty fast, despite of the place being half full. Ambiance is family. They do sell bottled beer and Jarritos. I highly recommend More Curry. We heard about this new place from Mr Corona so we had to try them out. The inside decor is very cute and cozy. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The owner and his family is so nice and welcoming. The food is made fresh so it will take longer. Okay, the food is no joke. The flavor on my Butter Chicken wrap was like "pow" in my mouth! The sauce it comes with makes it even better. It does have some heat but not too much where it hurts. It does get messy so make sure you got napkins ready. We ordered the chicken tikka masala to go. The sauce is different than what I'm use to having so it's spicier and not as sweet. Their garlic naan is also very different than what I've had before as it has black seeds in it. The mango lassi is thick and yummy. They let us try two other desserts and the one that looks like a donut is the bomb! So I definitely recommend this place and will be back to try other items. The only thing I would say they need to do is change the price on their menu because it doesn't match with what we were charged so they need to update it so people don't think they were over charged. Very good clean Indian food. I've been here twice now for lunch and it will not be the last time. The lunch combo value is incredible and beats out all of the local competition. Food is good. Restaurant is clean. Service has been very friendly and food comes out quickly. Great lunch spot. So far my favorite is the chicken curry, but my coworker's have had chicken tikka and paneer tikka and all have been great. Zero complaints. I will continue to come here and recommend it to anyone in the area. Food, service, and restaurant is better than Punjabi Tandoor. Price and service are better than Mantra with equivalent quality but this place is WAY faster. Try it- you'll like it! read more
