Ig: @asianphatty for more reviews! Still so delicious I got a dinner combo #4 of the chicken and it came with 2 meats, rice, naan (I upgraded to garlic naan for an extra $1) , and a dessert thingy. I also got a Mango Lassi which came out to a total of $21.18. Food is so bomb and the mango lassi is tart, not too sweet, and creamy. Will keep coming back :)

This review is long overdue. I love this place so much. I can't resist stopping here after I get my nails done next-door. It smells so delicious. They have great lunch specials too. I particularly like the chicken tikka masala and spicy chicken curry with mixed vegetables and garlic naan. Everyone here is really friendly and they remember me. It's super authentic. I just can't get enough. And best of all it is blissfully consistent. I never have to wonder if it's going to be good. If you are looking for delicious northern Indian cuisine or even want to try something new full of flavor I'd highly recommend you stop by.

Currently in Riverside tonight and Indian food sounded good. We decided to try out Punjabi Tandoor. We got the Malai Kofta, Chicken Mahkani, Lamb Vindaloo, and Samosas. Malai Kofta - Creamy sauce that had vegetables and potatoes formed into a ball and fried. It was really good! Chicken Mahkani - Very tender and flavorful! Lamb Vindaloo - Sauce was rich & savory w a hint of tang and pleasantly spicy! Sauce texture was like it had finely chopped veggies in it for thickness. Samosas - Very tasty. The green cilantro chutney was very earthy and spicy. Red chutney was sweet and spicy. I mixed both of them for a flavor explosion and it was very scrumptious!! Garlic Naan - Very tasty w pieces of chopped garlic. We enjoyed the food here and definitely coming back if we're in this area.

Amazing experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was fast and friendly, and everything was well organized. Definitely one of the best spots for Indian food highly recommend!

My fiancé and I were craving Indian food so we decided to try this place out. We placed a pick up order over the phone and they said it would take about 30 minutes. Upon entering, the aroma of delicious spices filled the air. The staff were friendly and gave us our order right away. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, lentils, veggie samosas, garlic naan, and rice. The chicken tikka masala was very flavorful and they did not skimp on the chicken which I liked. The lentils were delicious. Veggie samosas were crispy and had a ton of potato filling on the inside. It had a nice kick to it as well. The garlic naan was so good. It had a lot of garlic on top. Overall, I enjoyed it!

Great no frills Indian food. Naan came out piping hot and curry spice level is really solid. Big rice portions. One order is probably fine for 2 people.

I tried the breakfast combo with the paratha/roti, omelette, aloo, chana, and tea. A little spicy for me (but I'm rather soft when it comes to spiciness), but I really enjoyed the corn, potatoes, and roti (especially). And the tea was fine without sugar. I will def return when I am in the area! I thought that I had taken a photo, but apparently I didn't.

I came in with high expectations based on the glowing reviews. When I came in around 5 pm Friday, I…read morewaited a few minutes before someone came from the back to take my order. My food came out 15 minutes after ordering and was piping hot. I was excited to see my food made to order. Portion size 2/5: At first glance, it looked like a ton of food. However, there was only 4 small pieces of chicken in the chicken curry, a decent amount of potatoes and cauliflower in the mixed vegetables, and 80% of the plate was rice. After finishing the curry, I had 50% of my rice left. For $14.99 before tax, I did think the meal wasn't worth the price based on the quantity. Mossoor dal, 4/5: A lentil soup. Initially I drank it piping hot and thought it was too watery and flavorless. But once I let it cool down, I started gulping and got hit with a flavor bomb of spices, lentils, onions. This was the part of the combo. Rice, 2/5: The rice wasn't seasoned with any flavorings or fats. Since it's meant to be eaten with the curry I didn't mind the lack of flavor too much. However, the rice wasn't firm but a bit soft. Thankfully the rice wasn't mushy. But eating the rice alone was a boring experience. Mixed vegetables curry 3/5: As mentioned earlier, it was a mix of potatoes and cauliflower. It was seasoned well with the spices, but the flavor isn't what I would call complex. The curry was also fairly oily. The potatoes were soft and a bit creamy, and the cauliflower was firm. A nice mix of textures, and I concluded this curry was in the middle of the road compared to other places I had. Chicken curry, 0/5: Unfortunately, the chicken itself had no flavor. Despite using dark meat, it tasted as if it was simply boiled in hot water and had zero seasoning. The chicken tasted as if it was coated with oil (which will make sense in a bit), leaving in an unpleasant after taste of oil surrounding my tongue. The curry was even worse. The curry looked to be 50% oil, 50% curry solids and tasted even worse. It tasted like vegetable oil; no flavor at all. Maybe just a semblance of spice. Even when I tried to drain the oil out from my spoon, I tasted barely anything but heat. I hate wasting food, but I contemplated in throwing it away in disgust. Overall, I would had given this place a 1 star review for the chicken curry alone. However, the soup barely saves the meal, and I bumped it to 2 stars as a result.

I received the kindest welcome and delightful service and help from Nisha, who explained the dishes to me and recommended The Combo for my first visit. Such a great suggestion since I had never dined at an Indian Cuisine restaurant before. Each one of the servings in the combo was incredibly flavorful, delicious and very filling. I loved each and every one of them! I even had leftovers to bring home, which I am already looking forward to enjoying. The garlic naan bread is out of this world! Their Mango Lassi is indescribably delicious and Nisha informed me that the yogurt they use is made fresh in the restaurant. It tasted so clean and amazing. Definitely going to be hooked on that!!! The atmosphere was so nice and peaceful after a long busy and stressful week. Exactly what I needed. No loud music or noise that people had to talk over. Very, very nice and relaxing. Thank you for the atmosphere as well. Nisha also blessed me with a rice pudding to try and I can hardly wait to make it my evening snack. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome on my first visit. I already feel like part of the family with the way Nisha made me feel so valued as more than just a customer......I left there honestly feeling like family. I'll be seeing you all soon and often! We found this place online and decided to fuel our bellies here. Upon entering there are seats on both sides of the restaurant with the serving area and cashier in the middle. We decided to dine-in and they helped us with ordering. I ordered the Dinner Special Thali ($15.99) which comes with 2 entrees, daal, rice, naan, mango lassi, samosa or kheer. I was allowed to choose 3 entrees of my choice from the select options they had in their serving area (not from all the entrees they have on their menu). I like options and variety, so from their limited entrees I chose mushroom saag (spinach based), chicken tikka, and their paneer tikka. I'm glad I got to taste different options but I like the chicken the best. I also chose the kheer and got the mango lassi as my drink. My boyfriend ordered the butter chicken ($14.99), basmati rice ($3.99), and the cheese naan which we asked if they can add garlic and they kindly did ($4.99). Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. On the tv's they were playing Indian music and their music videos, which were entertaining to watch. ---- Overall: the price point and tasty food are reasons we'd be stopping by if we're ever in the area again or driving back to SD, definitely check this place out if you want some yummy Indian food in Riverside at a reasonable price!

I was really impressed by the scrolled 'crepe' stuffed with aloo (potatoes) and spices, and the array of dipping sauces and chutney. It was a really long time before I had another dosa at Seven Rivers in Riverside. A few years later and I got wind of Dosalicious in Corona off McKinley and the 91 Freeway. It's in a shopping center towards the back section, but once you find it, parking isn't an issue. Inside it's open and larger than you think, with some depth and extended seating. Basically, order at the counter and pay later, or whatever. The non-dosa entrées look really good in pictures, so I'm eager to try more but dosas are their namesake, so I got one that resembles my first experience in Chicago. The selection of dosas was remarkable though, so next time I should bring a friend or two to have a wider sampling. It didn't take long to arrive and while not scrolled, it was presented like a folded pocket, which fit the plate and facilitated tearing and dipping. Yes, finger food. Inside the potatoes seemed closer to mashed potatoes but flavor wise it was similar to past similar dishes. I enjoyed the two provided sauces a lot, and ultimately, it sat very light and I wasn't full, but not immediately hungry afterwards, either. Down the road I'll expand my horizons through a few visits targeting more menu choices. Very good overall. Yes, plastic silverware and disposable paper plates are what you get here, but that's not a deal breaker for me. Besides, have you ever worked in a restaurant and had to wash dishes in the back? It's hot and nasty work, I'm sure this is behind that calculus.
