On our first visit, we ordered full-sized portions, and the next time we tried the lunch combo, which was a perfect way to sample a variety of dishes at a great portion size. The food takes a bit longer to come out, but its hot and fresh when its on the table. I tried these below, and all were yummy: Butter chicken- rich and creamy. We ordered little to medium spice, but it could've been spicier Sizzling lamb momo- tasty and meaty, not gamey. Chicken Vindaloo- deeper tamarind flavored, with chicken Shrimp Tandoori- large shrimps, and was very spicy. One of the absolute best Nepali Indo Chinese restaurants I have been to. Besides the traditional tandoori and tikka dishes... the indo chinese menu, the momo sizzler is next level. This restaurant is hidden between a dentist office and a nail salon, but I'm so glad we found this place, the food is honestly amazing! We ordered takeout from here on Saturday! Everyone working here is so polite and patient! We were so pleased with everything we ordered, and when we got home the foot was pipping hot! Their butter chicken is so yummy, the spice level was perfect! The chicken biryani was amazing, and the rice was perfectly fluffy! The chicken momos were soft and perfectly steamed and had an incredible sauce. Speaking of sauces, their tamarind sauce for the vegetable samosas was great, as was the mint chutney. PLEASE BE PATIENT , because the dishes are fresh and made to order it will take about 10-15 minutes for the food to arrive at your house table. So worth the wait !! Portions were generous enough for 2-3 meals. The butter chicken was incredible; rich, creamy and loaded with tender chicken. The naan came fresh with the perfect chew, easily some of the best I've had. I'm still dreaming about the cheese garlic naan, so if you're choosing between regular and cheese garlic, go cheese garlic. The chicken tandoori was solid and well-portioned, but the butter chicken stole the show. We've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally came during lunch last week. Their weekday lunch special is such a good deal. You get to choose 2 items and it comes with rice, naan, salad, and a dessert for $15. Everything we got was delicious. The naan was warm and buttery and went perfect with my tikka masala. The vibe of the restaurant hits many notes of a traveling diner to be honest. Each table is set with a different location and offers some images of places to travel. There is plenty of seating , open space and overall pleasant. The service was excellent, our host gave us suggestions and was great on checking in with us. I'm sure he even knew we were not going to finish what we ordered but me and my wife were just excited. Her and I love to cook together and we have not tried to much Indian food so this was just an amazing adventure in food for us. The food could not be any better, we got some garlic Naan, some grilled onion stuffed cheese naan, my wife got a red butter curry, I got a skillet with a little bit of everything protein and veggie wise. We enjoyed their lentil soup very much. We also got some of their chicken dumplings and they were pretty good , we added some of the curry to them and that elevated them for flavor. The lunch special comes with two different main dishes and a salad and it even comes with naan bread, and dessert too! (Sweet rice.) It was a great meal for the price! I was on a mission to try Nepalese cuisine when my friend and I rendezvoused at Himalayan Aroma. Other than the Himalayan fried rice, its menu is very similar to other Indian restaurants I visited before. I was delighted to find lamb vindaloo on the menu so that is what I ordered along with naan bread. Although I ordered my vindaloo with the hottest spicy level but it was only mild for my taste. Lamb was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The naan was good too. Himalayan Aroma does have a lunch special menu on weekdays, mostly chicken and vegetarian dishes. It reminds me of a pretzel but in a crispy flaky version. The smell is just incredible. I also got the mixed tandoori and butter chicken. Wowowowowowow. ???? Like what do they put in here? Food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing. Sushi was our server and he was very kind and approachable (actually, all of our servers were very nice). Portions were shareable and appropriately priced. We had: Mixed tandoori plate- it came sizzling hot, well seasoned, and all the meats were deliciously tender. The best tandoori I had in awhile. Lamb has no gamey taste/smell or hard chewiness. Saag paneer & chicken tikka masala- well seasoned and taste a little bit different than other Indian food I had.
