Chicken momos, daal, chicken chowmein, garlic naan, chicken sekwa

I'm so happy we finally got a Nepali reasturant in the area! I've gotten food from here at least once a week since they opened. I remember my dad and I counting the days till they opened. My favorite is obviously the nepali momo. I usually get the chicken, chicken jhol, and goat momos. I also love the chowmein. I usually go straight to the Nepali section on the menu, and haven't ordered any "Indian" food from here yet. The price has gone up a lot since they opened, likely due to how good the food is and how popular the place has become. I'm just glad, I can always come here when I crave momos rather than waiting for an occasion to cook it myself. The place is clean, and service is great as well!

Drove from OC to this Himalayan spot, and found the drive absolutely worthwhile! Started with a couple of masala chais and complimentary lentil soup, perfect to warm us up on a rainy day. Grabbed an extra masala chai to go at the end! Chicken sekuwa was the standout dish. Tender spiced chicken with a tangy sauce and the perfect amount of heat - not to mention the appealing plating! This is a must try. We also got momos - was hoping they had yak but settled for lamb. Not bad and the sauce brightened up the slightly dry momos, but overall not outstanding either. Goat curry had meat just as tender as the sekuwa, proving that their meat dishes are no fluke. The curry itself is on the milder and lighter side in both flavor and consistency, not a bad thing if you don't want to feel heavy and stuffed. Place was moderately busy for a Sunday lunch, we were seated right away but servers did have their hands full with other tables. A slower paced place, but the patience pays off.

Wow! What can I say more than wow? And I only walked in the smell of the food was intoxicating. We were greeted immediately and sat. We ordered the chicken korma, the sizzling chicken Momo, and the chicken tikka along with garlic naan. I have eaten a lot of Indian food in my life and this place was absolutely delicious. The presentation, the flavor, the texture. The sizzling chicken Momo was something that we had never tried as it was off the Napolis menu and it did not disappoint. So many amazing flavors it was a completely different flavor profile from anything I've tried before. If you haven't tried this place you really should..

Great food, nice and clean interior, polite service. I've tried most of the Indian food nearby and this is the best. It's certainly a little better eating in than getting delivery but I generally expect that. Their new lunch specials are a great deal!

Met with a friend here for lunch today and got their lunch special with Saag paneer and chicken tikka masala. Everything was really good and for those of you who want a smaller portion of menu items so you can try more stuff , this size was perfect. I wish the naan stayed more soft but when you're dipping it, it don't matter much. Good service and plenty of seats.

The chili chicken is just delicious. They ask you what level of spicy do you want it from a scale 1-5 and to me three was just perfect. Service was excellent. On a Friday at 5:40, there was no waiting (but there should be because of how delicious the food is )

Absolute best place for Indian cuisine in the IE. every time I come in the service is great and the food is spectacular. Flavorful with amazing portion. Nepalese inspired dishes as well so you have so many options! If you come from 11-3pm the lunch special is the way to go. You get two options of appetizers, a dessert, salad, naan, and rice for less than 15 dollars. Definitely give this place a try!

Goat curry, buttered chicken, biryani and garlic cheese naan.

Food was amazing. Ordered one Chicken Biryani, one Chicken Tikka Masala, and one order of Garlic Cilantro Naan and it was all delicious. The servers were friendly, and the inside was decorated and clean! I have to come back to try more of what they have to offer :)

Still excellent food and service. We order it to go often but enjoy dining in as well. Tried the mango ice cream which we all loved. Very fresh and not too sweet. I absolutely love the nepali salad that they serve at lunch. Wish they kept it on the menu for dinner, lucky me they had some available that night. Will continue coming back and recommending it to everyone. Nice quiet and clean restaurant.

Yes the food is fantastic and yes you should go. Stop reading the reviews, grab your friends/family, and get over to this place right now. From depth of flavors to exceptional staff, this establishment will satisfy a foodie's hunger for goodness. Oh yeah, and their lunch specials are on fleek.

Himalayan Aroma will let you know once you walk in the door the delicious meal they will be preparing for you. Once me and my wife walked in we knew we were in for a treat. The vibe of the restaurant hits many notes of a traveling diner to be honest. Each table is set with a different location and offers some images of places to travel. There is plenty of seating , open space and overall pleasant. The service was excellent, our host gave us suggestions and was great on checking in with us. I'm sure he even knew we were not going to finish what we ordered but me and my wife were just excited. Her and I love to cook together and we have not tried to much Indian food so this was just an amazing adventure in food for us. The food could not be any better, we got some garlic Naan, some grilled onion stuffed cheese naan, my wife got a red butter curry, I got a skillet with a little bit of everything protein and veggie wise. We enjoyed their lentil soup very much. We also got some of their chicken dumplings and they were pretty good , we added some of the curry to them and that elevated them for flavor. Honestly this was such an amazing experience food wise, there are some very fun and unique flavors that come from other cultures and I love that we can experience one another's culture through food. We will serve back and we look forward to trying more.

Food (4.5/5) - Tried a lot of essentials like chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, mango curry, lamb chops, butter chicken and garlic naan. Everything had great flavor, decent price, and were good portion sizes. Just thought the biryani was a bit too dry for me. Service (3/5) - Really could use some improvement on this one, had to ask multiple times or flag someone down to ask for items like water/napkins even the check several times. The servers here are very softspoken and sometimes unclear without repeating a few times. They are very nice, regardless. Just slow service. Ambiance (5/5) - The design of this place is classy and comfortable. There's a bar by the entrance and the dining area feels roomy, this small-midsize restaurant seems great for groups.

We…read morereally enjoyed some of the dishes we ordered, while a few others were just okay or a bit lacking in flavor. Our favorites were the Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji (we ordered the Classic), Chole Bhatura, and the Jaamun Shot. The Papdi Chaat was exactly what we expected and was decent. The Bhel Puri and Pani Puri were probably our least favorite dishes. For the pani puri, the pani was bland and lacking flavor and the puri barely had any filling. The Bhel Puri was more tart than I expected and could have used a bit more green chutney and sweet chutney. I didn't try it myself, but my father-in-law ordered the Masala Jaljeera and he didn't seem to be a big fan. He mentioned that maybe he should have ordered the Kokum Jeera Soda instead. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance casual. Service was a little slow at the beginning, but once we placed our order, the food came out very quickly. I do wish they had given us a little more time to enjoy a few dishes before bringing out the rest. Our table felt pretty crowded when everything came out at the same time and we were shuffling dishes to make space while we ate. To be fair, we ordered a lot of food, and we probably could have asked for the dishes to be brought out in stages. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars, though I'd probably place it somewhere between 3.5 and 4. I'd definitely come back to try other menu items if I was in the area.

Okay so I think most of the recent reviews get this...their service is garbage and non existent…read more Also don't get any cocktails...it took them 90+ minutes for them to get me the cocktail that I ordered. I honestly don't think it's worth coming here even if the food is not bad because their service is that atrocious. Some food is fantastic...others I'm rather meh about. Pani puri 4/5. Herbed potatoes and the sweet tamarind sauce are fantastic. The tangy water...it's not heavy enough in seasoning for my liking. When you bite into it it's like a fluffy crispy airy dough shell with the texture of boiled eggs but the flavor reminds me of samosas... Also the fried dough thing on top to add the extra crunch is nice Bombay vada pav - 5/5 soft pillowy potato bread with spiced potato fritter.. just yes. They give you additional chilli peppers which honestly are a little too spicy for me.... And the mint chutney is really spicy too.... But the tamarind sauce is tangy and more tart/ and different from the tamarind sauce w/ Pani puri. I absolutely loved this and this was the best thing on the menu. Stuffed mushrooms with cheese - 3.5/5 the cheese does cut into spice from other foods but it's not a dish i think is worth ordering. The tomato flavor is strong and I barely taste coriander or other spices because the tomato overpowered everything else. I don't know what biryani I had because it's not on the menu anymore as I'm writing the review as of 3.28.26 but that was a 2/5. That was terrible. Portion size fantastic but God .... Frozen peas carrots green bean mixture killed this. There was barely any spice or flavor. I genuinely was disappointed. Cocktail.. 0.5/5 It took them 1 hour and 30 minutes before I got my cocktail. Wtf why is it only one person knows how to make cocktails and why is that the person greeting people. Please get more and better staff so that they can actually be doing one job only. For reference I ordered the cocktail "vessel of shakti" and honestly... It gave me artificial candy strawberry daiquiri mix. The coconut water is lost in flavors. I did not taste like. Skip this. Just don't order cocktails because only 1 person knows how to make them. .5 only because the person making the drink was genuinely apologetic and busy. The service here is absolute shit. You can't flag people down, they'll ignore you if you're not Indian so rubbish service. But also the waiters seem really pissed off and don't want to be here. This experience was so bad I wouldn't even consider coming here even if the food was good. This restaurant is super over hyped for the experience and price.

I received the kindest welcome and delightful service and help from Nisha, who explained the dishes to me and recommended The Combo for my first visit. Such a great suggestion since I had never dined at an Indian Cuisine restaurant before. Each one of the servings in the combo was incredibly flavorful, delicious and very filling. I loved each and every one of them! I even had leftovers to bring home, which I am already looking forward to enjoying. The garlic naan bread is out of this world! Their Mango Lassi is indescribably delicious and Nisha informed me that the yogurt they use is made fresh in the restaurant. It tasted so clean and amazing. Definitely going to be hooked on that!!! The atmosphere was so nice and peaceful after a long busy and stressful week. Exactly what I needed. No loud music or noise that people had to talk over. Very, very nice and relaxing. Thank you for the atmosphere as well. Nisha also blessed me with a rice pudding to try and I can hardly wait to make it my evening snack. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome on my first visit. We found this place online and decided to fuel our bellies here. Upon entering there are seats on both sides of the restaurant with the serving area and cashier in the middle. We decided to dine-in and they helped us with ordering. I ordered the Dinner Special Thali ($15.99) which comes with 2 entrees, daal, rice, naan, mango lassi, samosa or kheer. I was allowed to choose 3 entrees of my choice from the select options they had in their serving area (not from all the entrees they have on their menu). I like options and variety, so from their limited entrees I chose mushroom saag (spinach based), chicken tikka, and their paneer tikka. I'm glad I got to taste different options but I like the chicken the best. I also chose the kheer and got the mango lassi as my drink. My boyfriend ordered the butter chicken ($14.99), basmati rice ($3.99), and the cheese naan which we asked if they can add garlic and they kindly did ($4.99). Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. On the tv's they were playing Indian music and their music videos, which were entertaining to watch. ---- Overall: the price point and tasty food are reasons we'd be stopping by if we're ever in the area again or driving back to SD, definitely check this place out if you want some yummy Indian food in Riverside at a reasonable price!

For a restaurant in a touristy area, it still lands at a solid 3.5 to 4 stars, but the experience has definitely taken a step back. Cleanliness - there's a fly constantly going up and down the window we sat next to. It was getting a lot of my attention but alas I did not have a fly swatter. Lucky sob!!! Food - portion sizes felt smaller. While Indian dishes aren't typically huge, the presentation this time made them look a bit meager--it could be the dinnerware, the presentation? I don't know. Flavor-wise, something has changed for the worse. The Chicken Tikka Masala was decent, but lacked the rich depth and spice profile of our previous visits. The Fish Vindaloo suffered a similar fate. It wasn't bad, but it lacked that bold, signature Indian flavor. Also, using salmon felt like a misstep; its strong flavor tends to clash with vindaloo spices rather than absorb them. Side note, this dish was not at all spicy. And the server never asked us about the spiciness level of any of the dishes we ordered. Maybe they only offer non-spicy for all their dishes?? The same vindaloo dish at our favorite Indian restaurant in L.A. is very spicy and full of other favors. Service was just ok. The restaurant was quiet, with far more empty tables than occupied ones, yet the food took quite a while to come out. At one point, at least four servers were standing around the counter watching the dinning hall. Yet, other than delivering the food, no one came to any of the tables to check on them once the food had been delivered. Multiple times nearby tables waved their hands in the air to get attention after they got their food. We overheard one young man asking for hot sauce and chuckled - so someone else wanted their food spicier, too! (2) Tandoori chicken with salad. The salad was the better choice than Raita. The Tandoori chicken was good. Again the lentil was too watery. The rice and naan were good.
