This restaurant may be small and unassuming, but it has never failed to deliver quality food. Service is prompt and courteous without being overbearing, dishes are authentic and fill you up (lunch combos are a GREAT deal), and the Thai iced tea here is quite addicting. Please don't take the trouble to order food from this restaurant. Last time I ordered food, they told me it would take 45 minutes and it wasn't delivered at all after multiple phone calls. Today I ordered food and the food was delivered 90 minutes later instead of the said 30. The delivery man was so rude to me and told me "next time you pick up, I will not deliver." When I opened my food, it contained eggs, which I had mentioned particularly because I am a vegetarian. The appetizer tasted stale too!!! I was left with no food to eat!!!! Thai food is ok, I really liked the soup and pad thai. Sushi is really bad. I had a terrible disgusting aftertaste that makes me not want eat sushi anymore. In my opinion, all sushi places in this neighborhood, even more expensive, just suck. read more

I have eaten here a few times and never been disappointed. I have stuck to my usual, noodles. It is moderately priced for a filling meal.

Based on the Thai food only, this place is really 3.5 star. While the food is good not great, I gave the 4th star because it does have the most authentic Thai of all the pan asian spots in downtown JC. I prefer it over Sawadees or Sky's. I haven't tried the sushi but my gut is to stick with the Thai classics here. I ventured into trying one of the noodle soup specials one day and it was a huge mistake (bland, greasy, and a unpleasant aroma that was not appetizing). Things I have tried and liked: Tom Kha soup w veggies (veggie based dishes here are good bc their veggie selection is better than their competition, good curry, drunken noodle and pad Thai. I came here for lunch with my coworkers. They have a great lunch special. I ordered a pad sew ew with one sushi roll and it was only $10. hmmm. it's unfortunate that i'm writing this review so late after my eating here. ate here about a month ago, but I'll try to remember as much as I can... Service - gave us no reason to complain. Helpful, attentive, and unobtrusive. They also go against the stereotype that Asians rush you out of their restaurants to have more customer volume. Food - The thai coffee's strong tasting (but delish). the thai tea's much lighter in comparison (delish as well, as standing alone too), and they were always prompt with water refills. Chicken Mussaman Curry was decent tasting. It wasn't knock your boots type of good, but it was good. Portion size - was PERFECT - which I give much kudos on, since I feel America does have gluttonous proportions. My friend ordered the drunken noodles and with THAT - I was in LOVE. It was spicy, but I even urge the spicy-haters to at least try this dish... you'll be missing out if you don't. Another thing to mention other than food and service is the dining area: they have front outdoor seating, and main indoor seating. They also have outdoor backyard seating which is totally date-worthy and cute, but it is unusual to have to go there by walking past (or through?) their kitchen. It was so unusual, I had to laugh. But other than that, this is a place I'd definitely come back to for a night I'd be too lazy to cook and would just like to relax. read more

They have only 4 dishes that are good which my wife and I will make me return to More at least once a month. Some friends and us are boycotting until next year because they were playing Christmas music a week before Thanksgiving. In general they have bad music selection, it used to be worse a year ago. I know it sounds funny, but the music selection, especially the Xmas music in November is bad enough to turn you off the meal and not tip. read more

Thai salad crisp and fresh, Lonely Angel roll had nice fresh fish and very tasty, and the Tomkha coconut soup was scrumptious. I have been looking for a decent Thai restaurant in the Jersey City area...I think I finally found one. After reading reviews on Yelp decided to order take-out. We ordered the Shrimp Pad thai, Beef Pad Seew, and the Chicken Mussaman Curry. The pad thai and beef seew were both excellent, but the curry was a little watery for my liking. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Iv'e been twice - the first was okay. The second time I went with my boyfriend and we ordered teriyaki dishes. Both came to the table sizzling but it was clear that the vegetables were frozen and inedible. My shrimp were previously frozen and mushy and his steak was laughable. Completely overdone and clearly a tough cut (I'm going to guess flank) that was sloppily placed on top of the frozen veggies UNCUT. Our dinners had to be sent back and we opted for Pizza. the 1 star is given for the lemonade thai tea. now that is a delicious combo. sorry to say we wont be back. read more

I generally like their food. It's decent sushi and decent thai food. However I want to scream every time I order delivery from them. They take over an hour even when they say 15-20 mins, food is often mixed up, and when I try to call and talk to them to confirm an order (on seamlessweb) they are the RUDEST people! I have been hung up on when I just wanted to make sure they got my order and when I call back they were just rude. It's happened more than once by different people. I'd rather spend money on good food that doesn't stress me out! read more

Maybe I went on an off night. I had the curry puffs which were both frozen and greasy at the same time and the chicken, or was it pineapple, fried rice...Either way, it was absolutely disgusting. Everything I've ever ordered here has been great and the back patio is beautiful in the summer. However, be warned that the pad thai is a dangerous choice. My friend ordered it and it reeked something awful!!! She took a couple bites and felt sick. The smell was so foul, I could barely eat my food. Went to More because Edwards Steakhouse had very late times on reservations. Well, More is far from a Steakhouse. We were seated indoors by the window. The setting is very intimate and quaint. It was pretty slow so I can't complain about the service. We had several people all helping us including the host. We ordered curry puffs and roti. I've never heard Roti but the bf loved them, esp. the green curry sauce. The curry puffs tasted average which is not a bad thing. We went on to order the Duck and Pineapple curry and the Pad Se Ew. The meals came out quick which was a plus as were hungry and on a time constraint. The Duck Curry was great, a bit spicy, but we asked if we could ask for Green Curry next time and the answer was yes. The Pad Se Ew was okay. The one thing I was disappointed was my Thai Iced tea. I LOVE Thai Iced tea. This was very heavy on the 1/2 1/2 and tasted very milky. BOOO!! I would come back to try again but it wouldn't be my first choice. never ever ever ever order from this restaurant regardless if you are hungry or not. this evening i ordered the lemongrass chicken and when it arrived it reiked of salmonella listeria and e coli the chicken flesh literally smelled rancid like ammonia, it was that strong. i called the restaurant back and they asked if i would like something else, i mentioned the only thing i would like is a refund and explained to them that they should not be serving poulty in this state. the woman was kind enough to agree to a refund, and to my surprise they actually sent the delivery driver back out to pick up the order and deliver my refund back to me (shocker). an hour later i receive an argumentative phone call back from the restaurant chastising me for "eating" the chicken and "questioning" me why i sent it back ? seriously? moral of the story is these people serve horrible food, have zero knowledge of customer service and would be willing to jeopardize future income over a $12 dish of listeria ridden chicken. horrible, just horrible. read more
