We have been here at least 50 times. I probably come here or order from here once per week. Our regular orders are roti with green curry, Penang curry ( see photo) pad Ki Mao, or sushi. The vegetables are always cooked to perfection- crisp and fresh! We've been to Thailand and also lived in Sydney for five years (which has excellent Thai food) so I can say this is very good Thai food for a reasonable price. In addition, the sushi is above average and fresh. I've brought many friends and family here and everyone loves it and even requests to come back a second time. BYO sweetens the deal! I recently ordered food from More after not having dined at the restaurant in over a year. The food was better than I remembered. I ordered delivery on Seamless and although the estimated arrival time was 45 to 60 minutes, the food arrived in about ten minutes! What a pleasant surprise, as I was starving. I was shocked by how fresh and delicious the sashimi salad was! Sashimi mixed in with seaweed salad, greens, avocado, mango, and special sauce. So refreshing and perfect for the summer. I also had the green curry with chicken. I prefer spicy curries and found the green curry to be not too spicy, but with a decent amount of kick, especially for Thai food. The eggplant in curries can sometimes be soggy or stiff but it was cooked perfectly. There is also a very nice backyard for outdoor dining. I really do not understand how More Express has such low reviews and ratings. They have hands down the best green curry I have had since I've been back from Thailand. I was SOO pleased it tasted exactly like Thailand. The mango sauce dish was a special, ordered with shrimp, was also a WIN. Mixed in some sushi and ordered the rainbow roll which was also great. I would recommend the Thai iced tea as well. I think the majority of the reviews disliked the noodle dishes like pad Thai. But I really believe based on what I ate tonight, that more express deserves a far better rating! Will go again! read more

I saw the fliers for this place a couple months ago, but the name wasn't very inspiring so I figured it was "more" of nothing special. I went there on a Wednesday night with two friends. There was no wait. The restaurant has a sushi bar at the back, but mostly the decor is minimalistic with a romantic ambiance. The music was a bit weird, but nothing to get upset about. We ordered the Duck Noodle, the basil fried rice, and the drunken noodle. They charge for tea here, so if you are with more than one person a pot might be more worth it. I thought the food would be your average decent Thai food. I was so very wrong. For that I apologize to you even "more." The food was amazing. The Duck Noodle came in a chicken stock type broth. It was just salty enough to have a full bodied flavor. It was served steaming hot with flat rice noodles, and so much duck I had to share it with my friends. There was also bok choy and it was served with a chilli paste. I really thoroughly enjoyed this dish. I highly recommend it. The Basil Fried rice was also very good. On the first bite, it kind of tastes a little underflavored, but as you get to your second and third spoonful, you can taste the slight spicyness that really gives it it's flavor. It was also good two days later, which is a sign that they use fresh rice. The Drunken Noodles were very good. Nice sweet and salty flavor, served with thick flat rice noodles. Sorry but I will never order from here again. I placed an online order from their website earlier today at 2 PM for a 5:45 PM pick up. I wrote it clearly in the notes section. There was no information anywhere about time restrictions. About 1.5 hr later, I got a phone call from More Express by a man who immediately started to yell at me. He wanted to know where I was. I told him that I am picking up later at 5:45 PM. He then proceeded to tell me (no, yell) that I must come at 5 PM to pick up. I was so confused and frustrated because I tried to explain to him how it was impossible for me to come at that time (I would still be at work) and that I wasn't aware of any time restrictions for the pick up. I told him that since I cannot get the food at the right time, I would like to cancel. He got angry and we hung up. 2 minutes later, the same guy called again to say, "You said 5:45? I thought you said 4:45." Oh.My.Gosh. To make the matter worse, he did not apologize for his mistake and proceeded to yell (why is this guy always yelling? I am not deaf) to come at the time I wanted. But when I told him that I did not want to because he admitted that the food was already made, he assured me that he would make the food again, I declined because I am not trusting someone who is this rude on the phone to handle my food. I rarely leave reviews... they answered the phone with "hello". I thought I had the wrong number. When I walked in they weren't friendly at all. I wouldn't dine here once they open back up for full service. Anyways, dinner sushi is overpriced for the quantity. $30 for 3 basic rolls. I guess their lunch is cheaper. Seems fresh, it's kinda hard to mess sushi up unless ur skimping on the amount of fish. Not sure if I'll try again. Only came here because Sakura was closed on mondays. I love Thai food and I'm always on the hunt to discover the next best Thai place wherever I am in the world. I discovered this small Thai resto when I was wandering along Grove Street last Sunday and it was such a beautiful bright day to seat outside and enjoy Sunday Brunch so I decided to try it. My usual staples and standards in any Thai resto would be the Tom Yum Goong soup, Thai Iced Tea, and Red Curry. While I didn't feel like ordering Tom Yum soup that early for brunch, I did enjoy the Beef Red Curry. The meat was tender and it had the right level of spicy, which I have high tolerance of, through the years. Their beef red curry came with just enough meat and had plenty of vegetables, which was a good balance. It went very well with steamed rice. Their Thai Iced Tea was delicious. You would think this is so easy to do but you'd be surprised how some Thai restos often miss this part. I think I'd definitely return for more. =) read more

Other lazy Sunday rolled around and we ordered takeout from More Express again. To start, my boyfriend and I got the fried vegetable dumplings, which were delicious. They were pan fried, so not your typical breading and think wrapper. They were filled very well with the thin wrapper which I love. For dinner, I got the drunken noodles again and this time there was a bigger portion of noodles with the right amount of chicken; it was great! My boyfriend got sesame chicken with brown rice and he said that there is just enough for him to eat-- not too much, not too little. Overall for three items plus tip it came out to $35, which I think is a bit expensive, but it is worth it because the quality is so good. I asked my friend "why is there a heavy amount of cream cheese in here?" It tasted unhealthy and too greasy for my taste. We barely touched the appetizer. Then we ordered the Red Curry and Pad Thai. I had the red curry and I was shocked how small the portion was. It was half filled with the big bowl they gave me. The most shocking of it all was that they use frozen packaged vegetables. WHAT? my taste buds are quick and I could immediately tell that the vegetables were frozen. The green beans were really stiff EVEN COOKED! The shrimp was also frozen too.. which I'm not surprised about but I would like some fresh vegetables please.
