We get millions of reviews from our users, so we use automated software to recommend the ones that are most helpful for the Yelp community. The software looks at dozens of different signals, including various measures of quality, reliability, and activity on Yelp. The process has nothing to do with whether a business advertises on Yelp or not. The reviews that currently don't make the cut are listed below and are not factored into this business's overall star rating. We were fortunate that he had it on his lot. You can also give Guy some info on the car you are searching for and he will find it at auction for you. I had such a great experience, I recommended that my employer purchase a vehicle from him as well. Guy knows what makes, models and years are better than others.

I seriously can not stress enough how easy it was to buy a car from Nye. After dealing with Lancaster Toyota over the weekend, and getting nowhere, it was refreshing to work with Nye and Tom.

I worked with Brian, and he was a great sales person. He was knowledgeable, polite, respectful, and knew a lot about the vehicle I came to see. And most importantly, he put ZERO pressure on me. The whole staff was actually cool. Pretty much like buying a car from a bunch of guys you'd hang out with. I never felt like anyone was trying to put one over on me. And the process was really fast, with no surprises. Best of all, the used truck I bought was in extremely good condition. And it was reasonably priced! They obviously don't put just anything on their lot. There were a bunch of good options. I'd say they definitely have pride in their dealership. The showroom was set up very well too. Very clean and comfortable. Even free coffee and a candy station! If you like that kind of thing...which I do. If you need a car or truck, put these guys on your list!

Unfortunately, communication was disappointing throughout the process. My text message questions often went unanswered, and when I arrived, the vehicle was dirty on the outside and muddy inside, which made for a poor first impression. I later learned the Bronco was under a stop-sale due to a safety recall, but this was not disclosed until we were about to begin the paperwork. I was also allowed to test drive the vehicle despite the stop-sale. In addition, the tank was filled with 87-octane fuel even though the manufacturer recommends premium fuel for this vehicle. I decided to wait until the recall issue was resolved through the over-the-air update before completing the purchase. Once I was notified that the Bronco was ready, I returned to pick it up and completed the paperwork. After bringing the vehicle home, I discovered that the required Pennsylvania state inspection had not been completed. I had to arrange and pay for the inspection myself. To their credit, the dealership did offer to pick the vehicle up and bring it back for inspection, but I declined. Russ, the general manager, also offered to reimburse me for the inspection expense, which I appreciated. Overall, while I am happy with the vehicle itself, the buying experience felt disorganized and lacked communication and attention to detail. There were several issues that could have been avoided with better transparency and preparation. Worst car buying experience of my life.

Manheim is no different. 2) Buyer Beware. Cox Automotive owns the Manheim Auto Auctions nationwide. 3) Cox Automotive also owns "Kelly Blue Book" (aka "KBB). Are you kidding me? That's legal? A publication that tells you what the used cars are worth (Good, Better or Best condition) is owned by the same company that owns all the Manheim Auctions across the U.S and beyond? How sneaky and underhanded is that? How come the U.S. Justice Department doesn't stop companies that try to monopolize the market? Did you know that Cox Automotive also owns Dealertrack? Many many many dealerships use Dealertrack to complete the paperwork when you buy a vehicles (all the state and local specifics are loaded into Dealertrack so it is convenient for dealerships to use it. It does other things too but this is one of the main reasons people use it. Google "who owns Dealertrack". Here is what you will find: Dealertrack is owned by Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of the privately held Cox Enterprises. Cox Automotive acquired Dealertrack in 2015 for $4 billion. It operates as a major brand within their portfolio, which includes other automotive industry leaders like Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book, and Manheim. They also own www.centraldispatch.com. This is the website where dealerships, auto transport trucking companies and auto transport brokers go to post vehicles that need transporting so the carriers can find these loads.
