On Aug 4 I contacted Mike @ his cell number that was given to me by my daughter who had him do some…read morework at her place of employment. Her and I have had several jobs done by Michael @ Patriot Plumbing in the past. I asked her for the number to Michael, thinking it was Michael @ Patriot Plumbing. In her phone directory she had Mike and Michael. The first one that came up was Mike. I needed cast iron drain replaced that had been previously replaced by the homes previous owner and bypassed with PVC outside of the wall. One of Mike's professed plumbers showed up with a rookie helper that knew virtually nothing about plumbing to do the job. The plumbing to be replaced was in the crawl space under the house. Neither plumber or helper ever wore shoe covers to walk in and out carrying tools and equipment to the crawl space to do the job. One of the things needed to do the job was PVC for the drain. Rather than measure and cut the PVC on the back patio where they had all of their equipment, the helper was told to take the 8/10 foot piece of drain PVC through the house to a hallway leading to the entrance to the crawl space, there to be cut as need with a saw, leaving the PVC dust on the floor. When the new PVC drain was finally re-routed inside the inside wall it was protruding 3/4 inch outside the wall studs, which he estimated to be only 1/4 inch at the time that would not interfere with the sheetrock. The reason it stuck out was that the angled fittings were not aligned before they were glued. I told him that was OK at the time so I could get him and his helper out of the house and I could fix that mess. He said he leak-checked it but he never turned the water back on until he was headed to the unmarked truck when he said he would turn the water back on. I replaced the sheetrock by placing 3/4 inch furring strips on all the studs on that wall. After the wall was finished we moved the washer and dryer back into the utility room to hook them up only then did we discover that the washer access panel for the water and drain hose were not installed properly in that they did not cut out the plug for the drain hose to fit into the drain. We managed to cut out the hole that was supposed to be done before installation according to installation instructions for that cheap access panel. When the cost of $1970.00 was above my daily limit for my debit card I called Mike and told him I could not pay with my debit card, I would have to wright a check. He said he was on the road and would meet me at the DQ and asked me what vehicle I would be driving. I wrote the check for $2000.00 even cause I am 83 years old and don't want to figure out how to get that many words on the amount line. I made the check to the plumbing company that I thought I was dealing with because of the wrong phone number I was given up front and both were run by Mike and Michael. When I arrived at the DQ a man walked up to the truck and said hi. I said who are you, I don't know you. He said he was Mike from the plumbing company. I had made out the check to the plumber I thought I was dealing with and he said that was not his company. I told him I would make out another check and he said to leave the pay to part of the check blank. I am still waiting for my bank statement to see who it was payed to. After that day my e-mail started receiving requests for payment from My Plumbing Company a project of All My Services a Private Membership/Ministry Association for Invoice#001135 for $1970.00 that was considered a donation. It is now 17 days after that check was written and I called Mike back and asked about the e-mails and he said something to the effect of he forgot to mark that paid. Dealing with this outfit has been a nightmare that I am just glad to put behind me. Do not recommend ever using this plumbing company or what ever it is to do anything.

They were able to fix our leak and get us all squared away, checking in with status updates throughout the day as it was a rather large repair. Would highly recommend them!

Over a month ago I had Plumbing Outfitters install a farmhouse kitchen sink. I had already had a…read morecarpenter modify the cabinet so all Plumbing Outfitters had to do was put the sink in, attach the faucet and kitchen strainer, change the angle stops, and attach the new P-trap. In addition, I had them change the angle stop for the water line to the refrigerator. Since that time multiple issues have occurred: 1) the new angle stop and box was set over an inch behind the drywall leaving a void in the drywall. The pipe was also set at an angle. 2) Plumbing Outfitters came out again and replaced this angle stop with a bigger box which now fit in the drywall but seemed to be more slanted. 3) Then a few days later, I found a puddle of water under the sink P-trap. In searching for the cause, I found the P-trap was not only leaking but also that there was a 5 inch gap behind the rim of the sink that had not been caulked. 4) Plumbing Outfitters then sent a junior plumber out (a tradesman not a journeyman) and he found the leak and replaced the p-trap with a slightly better quality p-trap that came from a Plumbing supply company and not Home Depot. But he had trouble reattaching the kitchen basket strainer/drain so that it was now not level with the kitchen sink. Apparently his solution was to apply plumbers putty all the way around the gasket of the drain. His attempt to caulk the rim of the sink was to smear caulk all over it. 5) Finally the master plumber came out to fix the strainer. He also had trouble attaching it properly. He ended up telling me that I needed a deeper strainer and offered to get me one from his supplier, which I would pay for, and in the meantime attached a cheap stainless steel strainer. The next day he sent me a text saying that the part would be in in a few days. Eleven days later, I received a text saying the part was there. An appointment was scheduled the following Monday. On Monday, I received a call that the master plumber was on vacation and that the ORIGINAL plumber was available to do the install. Otherwise I would have to wait. I paid over $2,200.00 for this poor unprofessional service and cheap parts, and the sink is still not complete.

I would recommend Nate to anyone and everyone who requires plumbing work. He's absolutely meticulous, overly critical of his own work and you can see he takes pride in what he does, it seems to be getting harder to find a tradesman who has that level of pride in what they do. He really loves it, geeks out on it. That, on top of fair pricing, prompt timing, and overall just a great friendly personality makes what used to be stressful into something I don't mind so much anymore, knowing that I've got THE GUY that's gonna take care of it, and he's gonna do it "RITE" :D . I found Nate initially when I had a pinhole leak in a pipe in my slab foundation, he was the last plumber I talked to and by then I had gotten 4 bids and was about to make a decision, I almost cancelled the appointment but I figured one more couldn't hurt, Nate's professionalism blew all the others away, hired on the spot, scheduled to repair the next morning. Not only did he fix the problem but had prevention recommendations to help prevent similar issues in the future. I didn't feel like just another number, now I just call Nate whenever I am in need of his awesome skillset. Thus far he's rerun a hot water line in my home, installed a water softener system, installed a tankless water heater with hot water recirculation (instant hot water), detected and repaired a leak in my front yard that was dumping a literal swimming pool worth of water in the dirt, and fixed a similar leak at my mother in laws house. I know no one actually enjoys the process of getting bids but if there's anyone I reccommend you get a bid from, it's Nate.
