1 star -- Bait-and-switch pricing, terrible service, and I lost my unit over their own billing…read moreerror. I signed up online for their "2 months half off" promo, on the 31st of the month. I had to go into the office to finalize the move-in, and that's when I found out their truck -- the reason I picked them over another storage place -- was out of order. My first charge, for the upcoming month, came out at half price as promised. I assumed the second month would also be half off, per their advertised "2 months half off" deal. Instead they pulled the full $511 out of my account, throwing off my budget for other things that month. When I went in to ask about it, they told me that because I'd signed up on the 31st, the half-off I already received only covered one single day -- and that counted as my "one month" of the discount. That is not what "2 months half off" advertises or implies. When I pushed back, the staff member was rude about my concern and said there was nothing they could do, they don't refund payments, and the only fix would be applying the discount to the following month instead. When I asked to speak to someone above her, she said she was it, and that the owner was "indisposed" and wouldn't talk to me anyway. I left that conversation feeling trapped -- like I had to stay another month just to get the discount I was owed instead of walking away. So I stayed. And sure enough, they did it to me again. The next month, I was owed that $256 discount, but they tried to charge $511 again -- which didn't go through since I'd only authorized $256. I was dealing with a personal emergency and without a phone for 2 months, so I didn't find out until I owed $511 plus late fees plus lien fees, all stemming from their original mistake. Last week they auctioned my unit. They offered to sell it back to me for the full inflated balance, which I couldn't afford -- so I bid on my own unit at auction and won. I paid what I owed, but before I could retrieve my things, they called to say they'd refund me and give the unit to another bidder instead. I lost everything in that unit, including my service dog's vest, over a billing error that was never mine to begin with.

I am a single, widowed mother on a tight budget. I have stored other places and with all the increasing fees, 2 yrs ago, this fit my life. I felt especially happy and really kept an eye out for the well being of this place and my neighbors. About 8 months ago Matt asked me to leave because he was complaining about my power usage. He said the person who complained wanted me out, period and his job was on the line. I agreed, but at the same time wasn't given a date by which to move out. Unable to handle the financial burden, I stayed because they kept accepting my payments. I have friends at this facility and family that have units that are far bigger. I haven't had power or so much as a dim light bulb in my unit for 8 months now. I deal with the homeless across the creek from my unit threatening me and harassing me whenever I visit my unit. Management has been unsympathetic and refuses to do anything or even allow a woman by herself a light bulb or a place to charge her phone for safety. Security is minimal and I stress about being ripped off all the time. As a female with a daughter I sometimes bring, I highly recommend you store elsewhere if safety is a concern!!!!

She was patient, helpful, and personable! She gave tours, told us our options, and was thorough while I was signing. She made paperwork not bad at all since we were chatting as she was getting all the paperwork done. She was helpful explaining between the units. Once things were signed, she helped clean our unit and even wiped down the sides for us. She said she sprayed the unit with her own special concoction to help repel bugs naturally. Courtney made this process so easy and spending some time with her today was the definite highlight of my storage space saga today!

The owner, an older gentleman picked up, he was more than helpful and also great to talk to. He mentioned that there's even a little truck that can be used for moving needs at no extra cost. That is pretty convenient for those that don't have bigger vehicles to be moving things around. Great customer service thus far for me. The woman who answered the phone was taking down my information, but she repeatedly said "408" after I tried to explain that my phone number begins with the 669 area code. I corrected her several times, but she continued repeating 408. She then told me that I was being hostile, which I did not feel was an accurate characterization of the conversation. I was also violently attacked by someone who rents a storage unit at this facility while on the premises, which was related to why I was calling. That person is still permitted to rent a unit there. During the call, the woman who answered the phone also told me that she knows this person. Given the circumstances, I found the interaction uncomfortable and concerning. At this point, I would prefer to communicate directly with the general manager.
