THIS HOSPITAL IS DANGEROUS: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE PLEASE…read more This is what happened to me at Morgan memorial hospital on 3-13-19: I was recommended by my primary care physician (who happened to be on the hospital board) for PT, and this physical therapist guy almost killed me one day. This PT. Asked me to lay on the Treatment table and I look up and saw him holding a 'rolling chair' over my head; I said please don't hurt me. I blacked out and when I regained consciousness, I asked what happened. This pt. guy said to me 'I placed the rolling chair down and picked up a 'rolling hospital grade Blood pressure machine', and he dropped the medal base on my face and head. He left me alone in the dark room with zero supervision to go get his supervisor because he didn't know how to call in emergency code* at a hospital or get clinical care for me. The emergency room was a few feet away from the PT rehab Treatment room he worked at. He left me "alone". I had to beg to be taking to ER. This physical therapist is 'extremely dangerous and the traveling company he worked or still working for'. He shouldn't be lifting any machines over my head. I hope this never happens to anyone ever again. In fact, immediately after getting out the emergency room I asked the outpatient director for this report and she refused; she told me to talk to the risk manager who conveniently disappeared for lunch. I have email messages from the risk manager and recordings of her stating this negligent act occurred. My question is how can something like this happened to any patients and the regulatory institutions allows the hospital to get a way with this, hiding behind the so called "peer review". I have yet to get a resolution and frustrated with a very non-transparent system putting patients lives at risk. Hospitals are hiring third party contractors and getting away with safety concerns. Patients like myself really aren't aware of who is really treating them when they walk into a hospital. Eventually a patient gets hurt, you're in the dark fighting the hospital's army of lawyers. Where are the regulations that's supposed to keep us safe? I traumatized and hurt; I need this hospital to be investigated for their failures.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE, DON'T TRUST THIS Hospital I was…read morerecommended by my primary care physician(Dr. zant sits on the hospital board & Authority) for PT, and this guy almost killed me one day. This guy said to me "I placed the rolling chair down, and picked up a "rolling hospital grade Blood pressure machine" and he dropped the medal base on my face and head. The emergency room was a few feet away from the PT rehab Treatment room he worked at and left me 'alone'. I had to beg to be taking to ER. This physical therapist is 'extremely dangerous and the traveling company he worked or still working for. ***Morgan Medical Center is even MORE DANGEROUS BY HIRING THIS incompetent third party fella and his subcontractor*. He shouldn't be lifting any machines over my head. I hope this never happens to anyone ever again. This company and this Hospital are extremely dangerous for allowing This guy to continue working for them after this happened to me. THEY NEED TO TELL THE PUBLIC THE TRUTH. Unfortunately, Morgan Medical Center leadership are driven by GREED NOT SAFETY. *** They don't CARE.

Perfect experience! From the minute my Ambulance arrived I was treated like a guest. The ER doctors…read morewere prompt and kept me informed. All the techs that came in and out were friendly and every efficient. I ended up being admitted and was taken up to my room pretty quickly. It is in the new wing and I swear it's the largest, most luxe room I've ever had anywhere. The bed is incredible! It is so very comfy and has a ton of buttons to adjust for comfort. There is a cell phone caddy with a usb charger built in. Loved that feature! The tv is good sized, much larger than the one in the ER room I was in. Dietary called me every day to ask what I wanted for meals. They offered several options and I could customize my plate as I wanted it. Never seen that before either. My doctors kept me informed and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions. The nurses and techs were very responsive. No complaints!! All my medical records are stored here so any specialist I go to can access them easily. I always try to choose Piedmont affiliated providers. They have a great patient portal where I can look up my records, visit summaries, medications, appointments including my past appointments, and contact my providers. No one likes being in the hospital but if I have to be, I want to be in this one.

I can't complain about the nurses for I know they do work hard and for the most part have always…read morebeen pleasant. The hospital itself is really no cleaner than any other hospital. It is a nice hospital but they do get a lot of taxpayer's money so it should be nice. The business office is just down right disgusting...and because of them I would have to recommend if you have insurance then go to St. Mary's.
