I had a plumbing/faucet issue that required us to shut the water to our house off. Morgan Miller Plumbing had come highly rated from a family member and I gave them a call. They were able to quickly come out - even during a hectic, busy season with lots of homes experiencing frozen pipes. I got a text before the plumber came with the name of the employee who would be coming which was nice. Don showed up on time and patiently explained what he discovered was the issue to my husband who was out of town and on speaker phone. Don was able to fix the issue , and ensured that our major faucet (kitchen) was working before he left , even though this wasn't the faucet that had been repaired. On top of a great job with fair prices , Don was polite, funny and helped ensured all baby gates were closed when going from upstairs/ downstairs several time to keep my toddler safe. Robb did an amazing job as usual. He replaced the pressure regulator valve quickly, professionally and no mess was left behind. During the visit I mentioned an issue with one of the pipes rattling when the sprinkler starts due to broken pipe braces. He quickly secured the pipe with new braces and this fixed the issue. Discovered a leak in basement and they were able to come out the same day we called for service. Robert was friendly, knowledgeable and easily repaired the leak in under 90 minutes (including travel time to pick up the needed part and return). My partner was at work and Robert took the time to not only explain to me what was happening but call and explain to him as well. He was very friendly and respectful and being a female alone in the home during the service I felt very comfortable. He also stated the work he completed was guaranteed for a year. Main sewer lines seem to back up at the worst possible times. For me that was this week during a bathroom remodel and on a day when I had a busy work schedule. I needed help fast, and Morgan Miller was able to dispatch a plumber, Don, almost immediately to my home to clear the line. Their equipment was clean and modern. I appreciated Don's efforts to make sure that not just some but all of the offending tree roots and obstructions were removed. Don told me that they don't work on commission, (unlike a lot of other plumbing companies) which is definitely helpful in building trust with a local business. I found the pricing to be reasonable. I also liked that I got a detailed account of what was done and where the blockages were. I will definitely be turning to Morgan Miller for any future plumbing needs. read more

We recently hired Morgan Miller for two jobs in our home. Cody was phenomenal to work with. He was very attentive to trying to keep costs as low as possible for us. He had to remove tile in our bathroom to repair our shower plumbing that was leaking. I've never, ever had a contractor of any type be as careful and considerate when doing a job like that. That's not even remotely true and you know that. I quit after the botched job that included destroying a kitchen cabinet before recognizing he needed to work on the other side of the wall (something I told him since I have an engineering degree). On February 21st, I hired Morgan Miller plumbing to help me with sewer system was clogged, they come the next day and solve the issue but they didn't offer any warranty, the guy and his helper were really polite. But they left some hygienic products, heces and dirty toilet tissue that come from the sewer just outside of the front yard, where the main sewer is located, this is a big NO. I had to cleaned the area after they left... The pros: -they come really fast, next day service. -they solve the problem -they work on a cold weather The cons: - high price - no warranty for the service at all - They left the area that surround the sewer with heces, dirty toilet tissue and hygiene products. This a big health risk. Just be aware if you want to hire the services of this company. Update: Well we just bought the house less than six months ago, we don't know if the previous owner "abuse" the line, but is unacceptable they left the residues of the cleaning on the front yard. read more

I called them for an estimate. It cost $50 for the estimate and I was ok with that because they would put that money toward the cost of the project. But after the estimate was done I never heard back from them. After 3 weeks I called and asked about my estimate. They emailed me the estimate and their cost was more than twice the amount of the free estimate I recieved. We were getting quotes for finishing a basement bathroom. After reaching out they were able to quickly get someone to come out to look at the work... for a fee. We paid the $50, the guy came out, took pictures, took notes and then said we would get a quote in a week. Approximately a week later I received another call from MM asking to send another tech out. Reluctantly I agreed to modify our schedules and be home for someone to come. This tech seemed more knowledgeable and implied the other guy was new. Once again we were told we would receive a quote in a week. Four weeks into trying to get a quote, two appointments, and two weeks after the second appointment, no quote and out $50. Will not be booking. Guess our work isn't worth it. Update: After seeing this review MM reached out. the receptionist stated that they had called Monday. I have no missed calls or voicemails, but on a cell phone I suppose it's possible. The receptionist was very polite. read more

Regarding Morgan Miller Plumbing. I had a technician named Todd who was rude and basically accused my son and myself of lying. They have a 90 day guarantee on their service. After one week from the bathroom tub be serviced it was plugged again. Todd said they would not not honor the guarantee due to misuse. The tub had been used only once. I called today to follow up on parts Todd was going to check on with Ferguson since I have not heard back in several months on and was told they need to come out and charge me $75.00 to look at the job. When I questioned the charge since they had charged me before the $75.00 trip charge the first time the General Manager advised me they are going to decline the job. I made the mistake of going with a different plumbing company first. The other company was unable to clear the blockage in my pipes, and it actually got worse after they left. I normally do not post reviews unless the service is incredibly poor or absolutely exceptional. I have used Morgan Miller in the past and will continue to do so as they check the exceptional box. I had a backed up drain line (thought the water heater had a crack so it shows you what I know) and Cody, Desi and Steve quickly came out, diagnosed the issue and got to work hydro jetting our main line. They encountered multiple root blockages over 110' of line, some of which would not budge. After multiple attempts to break up the largest obstruction, I thought a positive outcome was grim but Cody, Desi and Steve gave it one more shot and pulled out all their tricks and finally broke thru right before the city main line. Couldn't be happier with the level of service, persistency to solve the problem and professionalism of these guys. You are making the wrong choice going elsewhere for your plumbing needs. I know they already have great reviews here, but I have to add another one! Our water heater died, we needed a new one... yada yada yada. We called around a little but liked the reviews for this company and went for it based on what sounded like a fair deal and straightforward pricing. Of course, this happened to our family during Snowpocalypse 2013! But here's the deal- they showed up! Early! They got it done quickly, efficiently, and without even once attempting to sell me a bunch of extra crap I didn't need. And here's the thing that tops it all: the guy shoveled my driveway, my sidewalk, and my steps. HE DID. I could not believe it... he could have cleared a little path for them to roll the heater into the house, but he went the extra mile! After being left in the lurch (and with a few inches of putrid standing water in our basement) by another company who quoted us almost $4k to fix our problem, we called Morgan Miller. We only live a couple of miles from their office, and had a plumber at our door in ten minutes, tops. Joe and Justin, the two gentlemen who helped us, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They explained everything they did as they were doing it, and managed to fix our problem in less than 45 minutes for $185. Yep, $185 to fix a problem that could have cost us $4k. Our pipes froze during the "polar vortex" and they were able to get someone out the same day. The technician told me that our pipes were PVC so that limited our options. He gave me some tips for helping defrost it myself (space heaters, turn the heaters up, etc) and then here's the kicker...HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THE SERVICE CALL. He could have totally spent a few hours making up things that he'd tried to fix it and I totally would have believed him. It was awesome and showed me that this was a company I could trust. I'm not saying they won't charge you, but it shows that they are honest. Next time I have a plumbing problem, I will be sure to give them another call. We've used Morgan Miller for years and service has always been top notch and professional. Recently we had some work done and after, I had to do a little DYI and found some issues. I went and talked to the owner to let him know this wasn't on par with previous work. He sent out the shop manager and another tech. They finished the work and it was done as they have usually done, excellent. They did not charge for fixing the mistake, which I know mistakes happen. To me, that went above and beyond. Defiantly will use them again, I hope I don't have too, but I know my limits on plumbing and would rather have things done right and be assured it will be done right. read more

A bad water pressure valve was doing crazy things to the pipes when even a simple faucet was turned on - shaking, rattling and making horrible noises that could wake the dead. The sound was so bad, you could hear it in every part of the house, day or night. I can't imagine what it was doing to the pipes. I called an unnamed licensed plumber who said he would come to the house in two days. He didn't show up or call. I left him a phone message, but it was a text message that prompted him to write back with a short apology. I jumped on Yelp and read the reviews for Morgan Miller Plumbing, which were really good. I've also seen their commercials on TV. The one review that stood out was from Erin V., who Morgan Miller helped during the big snow storm. I had to work during that blizzard and remember how bad the conditions were. So I called Morgan Miller late this morning and the dispatcher said Doug was already in the area working and he could swing by between 2-4. Doug called later that afternoon and said he was on his way. Hey these folks are great. Curteous and responsive in the phone, got me an appointment, and the guy who showed uo was clean, curteous, intelligent and a good guy. Did a good job clearing out the line. When it overflowed again, he came out the next day and used a video cam to inspect the pipes, and found they were completely gone in a few spots. Not his fault, he provided the correct answer and apologized for the bad news. No charge for the second day. Now saving my pennies for the rework of that very old line. Nice and polite repairman ( I had 3 different people come). We had a leak in the line to the ice maker on our fridge. The 1st repairman said it was a old filter that the guys who installed the fridge a year ago should have removed. So he removed it from the copper line and the cost was $145 which I thought OK. A few days later we realize the wet carpet is not getting better -So I call on a Saturday and the 2nd guy comes out and says it's a new leak on the shut off valve one inch below where the 1st guy took out the filter. He said he would not charge me labor but would have a after hours charge to pick up a part but he had a plastic line he would put on. I said we would wait till Monday. Now the 3rd man comes out and replaces the copper line with a metal mesh one he says is better than the plastic or copper. My opinion is This repair should not have had 3 visits and $205 to fix. read more

Ok people please read this before hiring a plumbing company. I recommend Morgan Miller Plumbers for various reasons. First, they are punctual. Second, they are fair with their pricing compared to others. Third, they are multi licensed and versatile. Four, their quotes are dead on with explanation given on all points. Fifth, they are patient which in my case made everything so much easier. Sixth and final, the techs are all knowledgeable, clean and very polite. Human interaction just can't be trained always so genuine individuals are at your disposal. My situation was very frustrating because I was dealing with city water Dept in the name of getting my internal water line to our meter fixed. Originally Morgan Miller staff said they could handle everything and they could have had the city not have to replace our curbside shutoff valve. When the city finally got there stuff done Morgan Miller took over with ease. The biggest part of this whole scenario is the city was very untimely but MM Plumbing continued to check in on us to see if progress had been made so they could do their job. They eventually took much longer than originally planned but the bill remained the same as the quote. These guys will put other companies out of business eventually just on the principle of honesty and solid performance. You will not be disappointed! Call Morgan Miller Plumbing! My boyfriend and I were having problems with our kitchen sink that went from backing up to leaking. I checked Yelp for plumbers and chose MMP based on the consistent 5-star reviews (sorry to give you the first 4-star). We found them to be friendly, prompt, straight-forward and their pricing pretty fair. They came out and determined our problem to be much worse than we had hoped. We were able to get a quote from them, relatively quickly. (They sent a project manager out a couple days later to reassess the situation before giving us the quote.) When we scheduled the "demolition" they were, again, prompt and friendly. While originally they said it would be done in a day, they had to stretch it to two days. Still for the amount of work they were doing that seemed understandable. It is this second day that gives them the 4 star rating. These folks are excellent plumbers! Just not so great on concrete work. We are happy with everything they did except how they poured the concrete. It just seems rough and not quite as good of work as we were hoping. Still, we're happy overall and will be repeat customers (hopefully not too soon though!) read more
